DUP continues its downgrade by co-sponsoring drag queen event

Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Deuteronomy 22:5: “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

Towards the end of June, we at ‘Protestant Revival’ highlighted the distressing moves by DUP leader Arlene Foster which seemed to be geared towards placating various enemies of God.

First on her schedule of compromise was attending a Muslim religious festival (pictured, below), before she attended a GAA final in County Monaghan on a Sunday, an Irish republican organisation in which many of the clubs, stadia and trophies take their name from IRA terrorists.

And she concluded her whistlestop tour of compromise by speaking at an event celebrating the ‘contribution’ of LGBT people to Northern Irish society.

As we pointed out at that time, all this seemed to be a means of ingratiating herself with the murderers or murderer apologists of Sinn Fein with a view to getting their power-sharing government back up and running. Pleasing God, sadly, particularly for a party rooted in true Biblical Protestantism, did not seem to be high on their list of priorities.

Now we see further departure from the party’s evangelical roots as one of their MLAs (Member of the Legislative Assembly) acted as a co-sponsor to an event at Stormont (the would-be seat of power in Northern Ireland, were our Assembly functioning), entitled Alternative Queer Ulster.

It was being held as part of the ‘Pride’ week, a celebration of all manner of immorality encompassed within the LGBT+ umbrella.

Speaking at the event was an individual who goes by the name of Electra La C*** – a drag queen.

We don’t actually know what the final word of her name is, as both the Belfast NewsLetter and Belfast Telegraph opted to star it out, so we must assume it is a word not suitable for repetition.

That really says it all about this character, that their ‘stage name’ is so vulgar it cannot be reproduced in a newspaper.

Not only that, this drag queen notoriously wore a tiara dipped in HIV positive blood in a ‘Pride’ parade in Belfast two years ago.

However, the DUP’s Paula Bradley (pictured, top, with Arlene Foster) saw fit to subject our parliament buildings to such depravity.

Not only that, Paula Bradley also saw fit to put her name as a co-sponsor to the sodomite event ran by LGBT news outlet ‘Pink News’ at Stormont; the event which Arlene Foster addressed.

We must state that Paula Bradley, in a fairly recent Belfast Telegraph interview, said she was “not a practising Christian”, so she is not going against any publicly expressed belief.

And we must also clarify the policy surrounding sponsoring an event at Stormont to avoid the accusation of misleading anyone.

For an event to go ahead, three MLAs must sign up to the event. The first is the host, with two further co-sponsors adding their support. There must be cross-community backing for such events, so one nationalist and one unionist must support the staging of each event.

Paula Bradley was not the host, but would have been fully aware that this event was called Alternative Queer Ulster. She would also have been fully aware that such an event would be offensive to a great many DUP voters and a great many DUP members.

However, our concern is with the DUP’s tolerance of such vile events being given the endorsement of one of its elected representatives.

When questioned about the event by the NewsLetter, the DUP said that it was up to the host, Clare Bailey of the Green Party, to ensure the event would “comply fully with all Assembly policies”.

The event may have complied with Assembly policies, drag queens are not illegal after all, but the event certainly didn’t comply with God’s Word.

Their statement said: “DUP MLAs act as sponsor and co-sponsor to many different events held at Parliament Buildings.

“The Primary Sponsor for any event in Parliament Buildings is the person responsible for the event under the Assembly’s guidelines.

“Ms Bradley is one of the co-sponsors and as such was not privy to specific details, including participants. She is acting in good faith that the event will comply fully with all Assembly policies.”

The NewsLetter added the following: “The DUP was not withdrawing its sponsorship, the party added.”

So the DUP, which claimed Paula Bradley wasn’t fully aware of the type of characters attending the event, then says that, despite the utter depravity of this event having been clearly highlighted, confirmed it would sponsor this celebration of sin regardless.

What a disgraceful departure from the old days of the DUP, which campaigned to ‘Save Ulster From Sodomy’. Now it is sponsoring events supporting it!

How this demonstrates how we must stay close to God and His Word, for such situations can come about through nothing other than ignoring the commands of the Almighty.

In the verses at the top of our article, it is clearly demonstrated that a man wearing women’s clothing is an “abomination unto the Lord”.

Likewise, it is clearly demonstrated that people were created either male or female, there is no grey area in this.

And our bodies are to be used to glorify God, and that cannot be done when they are being used to carry out acts which are against God’s natural order.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

The DUP are playing a very dangerous game in provoking God in such a way.

They have definitely gone backward, as the children of Israel did in the days of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 7:23-24: “But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.”

Let this not be fully said of the DUP.

There is still time for this party, once led by the great man of God that was Rev Ian Paisley, to roll back on its moves towards outright rejection of God and His Word.

However, the time is short, and the days are evil and the pressure will continue to build on them, from both within and without, to cave in to such grave and wicked sins.

What a wonderful promise, though, we are offered in God’s Word, that a heartfelt, earnest and truly penitent return to Him will reap great rewards.

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Muslim festivals and sodomite celebrations – Arlene Foster’s diary for June

Proverbs 13:20: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

The leader of the largest political party in Northern Ireland, the DUP, which was founded by Free Presbyterian minister Rev Ian Paisley, a man used mightily of God, has had a very unChristian schedule for the second half of June.

Arlene Foster began her companionship with fools on Saturday past by endorsing the pagan religion of Islam when she attended the Eid celebration, held by Muslims to mark the end of Ramadan, during which adherents fast between sunrise and sunset.

Islam is a religion which outright denies the divinity of Christ. Instead, they claim he is just another prophet, like Mohammed, pointing the way to Allah, their name for God.

Of course, there are many other criticisms which could be made of Islam, including the worryingly large number of believers who think killing non Muslims is legitimate, nay, commendable.

However, it is sufficient to highlight Islam’s blasphemous view of Jesus in order to condemn it as a false religion and, therefore, one which Arlene Foster should steer clear of.

Rather than that, she attended the big Muslim celebration in south Belfast on Saturday past and even allowed herself to receive a henna ‘tattoo’ (it is a non-permanent marking), a marking with its roots in the polytheistic Hindu faith, but which has been adopted by some Muslims in more recent times. The application of this tattoo is pictured at the top of this article.

Readers from outside Northern Ireland may not be entirely familiar with the current political situation here, but Arlene Foster’s party, a Protestant party, is involved in a power-sharing government in Belfast with the murderers and murderer apologists of Sinn Fein, a Roman Catholic party inextricably linked with the barbarous terrorist organisation, the IRA.

The wisdom of such a venture has been dramatically undermined in particular in the past 18 months as that government collapsed, amid Sinn Fein calls, among others, that gay marriage should be legalised in Northern Ireland. The DUP, which still has a strong Christian influence (though even its staunchest supporters would surely admit it is a far cry from what it once was in its faithfulness to God’s Word), is the only political barrier to the legalising of gay marriage in this country.

In that context, the next diary entry of Arlene Foster’s of grave concern is her acquiescence to the sodomy lobby by attending an event promoting “the contribution of the LGBT community n Northern Ireland”.

It is a strange event for the “LGBT community” to be having, given that their squawks are always for “equality”, yet they are happy to have an event singling out the achievements of people who happen to be a sodomite over those involved in heterosexual relationships.

But it is stranger still that a professing Christian such as Arlene Foster (she attends the Church of Ireland) sees fit to attend an event celebrating people whose lifestyle is in direct opposition to God’s ordained natural order.

The issue of homosexuality is one we have visited on a number of occasions lately and it is not one we wish to dwell on at length, but it must be clearly stated that homosexuality is an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).

It must also be clearly stated that it is “against nature” and “unseemly” (Romans 1:26,27).

It has been surmised in the Northern Irish daily papers that these efforts at outreach to Muslims and sodomites are an attempt to soften her party’s image.

However, all they are softening is the DUP’s stand for Christ.

We acknowledge there are many who think that ship has already sailed, but these are new departures for the DUP and we are saying to Arlene Foster and the DUP to stop in their tracks and turn back to Christ.

It is argued by the worldly that the route to securing a better lot for the Protestant people in Ulster is to embrace sodomy, gay marriage, abortion and various other reprehensible policies.

However, we can only truly prosper when we turn to Christ and follow Him.

A fine example of a leader turning to his natural enemies in his time of trouble, rather than to God, and suffering dire consequences, can be found in the case of King Ahaz.

It says n 2 Chronicles 28:16-23: “At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him. For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives. The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Beth-shemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there. For the Lord brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the Lord. And Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not. For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the Lord , and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not. And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the Lord: this is that king Ahaz. For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.”

Arlene Foster has been the subject of incredible levels of abuse over the past 18 months, and, like Ahaz, is at a low ebb and trying desperately to reclaim her former glory, as it were.

Ahaz turned to the king of Assyria, a nation which repeatedly attacked the children of Israel and hated God’s people, to try to save his kingdom.

Arlene Foster is turning to sodomites and Muslims, groups of people who are resolutely opposed to God’s people, to try to save her political supremacy.

Ahaz found that the Assyrian king “distressed him, but strengthened him not”.

Arlene Foster will find the same thing, her cowering before the enemies of God will get her nowhere.

She will find, like Ahaz, that “they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel”.

This was the warning given to the children of Israel just as they were about to enter Canaan and Arlene Foster needs to have these words in her head as she plots the course ahead.

They are found in Joshua 23:6-13: “Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: But cleave unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day. For the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day. One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you. Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God. Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.”

Ulster is under threat from Irish republicanism, Romanism, apostate Protestantism and secularism.

The only safe passage through this storm is with Christ at the helm and His Word as our map.

It is not yet too late for Arlene Foster to pull out of this meeting, it is not yet too late for Arlene Foster to turn to Christ as her Guide.

Please, dear reader, pray that she and our leaders will consult God rather than think tanks or opinion polls, and put their faith and trust in Christ to guide us through.

Apostate Protestant ministers excited by Pope’s visit and encourage him to visit Northern Ireland

It can come as little surprise that apostate so-called Protestant church leaders in Ulster have voiced their disappointment at the news that the Pope will most likely not be visiting Ulster this year.

No Pope has ever been in Northern Ireland and it appears likely that will continue to be the case, and this is something we must thank God for.

Pope Francis is to come to the World Meeting of Families event, a massive Roman Catholic festival which will be held in August in Dublin. His planned two day trip will apparently not involve a trip across the border.

And this has caused great anguish to Protestant clerical traitors, including our old friend, the Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke, Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland (what grand titles for such a grand fool!).

We have already highlighted the Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke leading his church into the clutches of Rome on St Patrick’s Day, so it can come as no surprise that he would find it “remarkable and wonderful” if “that man of sin, and son of perdition” came to Ulster.

He was joined in his treachery to Biblical Christianity by Rev Harold Good, the former President of the Methodist Church.

Rev Harold Good (pictured) said he was “very pleased” the Pope was coming to Ireland before going on to say that “Pope Francis, is a universally respected person, not just for his own views and ecumenical spirit but for his own integrity and humble approach”.

There will be no respect offered here to “that Antichrist” and certainly not for his views, which are completely unscriptural and which see him set his face against God. An ecumenical spirit is nothing to be commended, and indeed the Pope uses it as nothing other than a means to lure in ignorant and apostate Protestants. And as for integrity and humility? Rev Harold Good must be joking!

This is the man who just this week passed on his sympathies following the death of a paedophile priest originally from Ballycastle in County Antrim, Cardinal Keith Patrick O’Brien. Where was the Pope’s letter of sympathy to that monster’s victims?

This is the man who, on a trip to Chile recently, offended victims of sex abuse perpetrated by a Romanist priest by accusing them of slander against a priest they claim was aware of the abuse they suffered.

Rome’s face never changes, like her master the devil she is “a liar and the father of it” (John 8:44).

The Pope, by the very titles he takes upon himself, blasphemes all three persons of the Godhead.

Firstly, he calls himself the ‘Holy Father’, which blasphemes against God the Father. The Bible says in Matthew 23:9: “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your father, which is in heaven.”

Secondly, he blasphemes against God the Son when he takes on the name of the ‘Pontiff’, which means ‘bridge’. He is claiming to be a bridge between us and God. But the Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Thirdly, he blasphemes against God the Holy Spirit when he takes on the name of ‘Vicar of Christ’. A vicar means a substitute and therefore the Pope is claiming to be the substitute of Christ. However, the Bible clearly states that is the role of the Holy Spirit. Christ told his disciples before he went to the cross that, after he departed. God the Holy Spirit would come among them.

John 14:16-17 says: “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

Rev Harold Good then went on to say: “This visit will lay to rest the prejudices and fears of the past.”

According to Rev Harold Good, it is simply prejudice which would cause a Protestant to oppose the Pope’s visit. Not out of a devotion to God’s Word or a respect for Biblical truth or a desire that lost souls would not be tricked by that emissary of the devil.

This is simply Rev Harold Good harnessing the spirit of that notably evil king of Israel when he deliberately misrepresented God’s servant, Elijah.

When Ahab met Elijah in 1 Kings 18:17, we are told: “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?”

Ahab blamed Elijah for the problems in his kingdom, which included a great drought, rather than looking at his own sin. Elijah responded boldly to this wicked ruler, and his words would just as easily be applied by a child of God to leaders of apostasy like Rev Harold Good. 1 Kings 18:18 says: “And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim.”

Ahab’s comments to Elijah are true slander, and perhaps when Rev Harold Good scuttles down to Dublin to meet his buddy he can instruct him on the meaning of the word.

Completing the unholy trinity of mainstream Protestant churches running open armed to ‘Papa’ is Rev Trevor Gribben, who holds the positions of General Secretary of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and Clerk of the General Assembly.

Rev Trevor Gribben said he is certain many people of differing theological and political views would want to “join our Catholic neighbours” in welcoming his visit.

“The attendance of Pope Francis at the World Meeting of Families will greatly enhance the affirmation of the place of the family at the heart of society, and that is to be welcomed.”

What weasel words! All the visit of Pope Francis will enhance is the level of deceit and influence he exerts over the deluded Roman Catholics of Ireland.

Rev Trevor Gribben continued by saying he would “certainly welcome” a visit to Northern Ireland by the Pope at some stage in the future.

This is a scandalous betrayal of his Protestant heritage and of the sacrifice so many Protestants have made in the past to ensure the beautiful simplicity of the gospel reached the common folk. It is only the gospel which can save a sinner and Rome sought to hide it from the common people, in turn condemning them to hell.

This apostasy is warned of in the Scriptures. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 says: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;”

Rome certainly falls under the category of offering “seducing spirits” and “doctrines of devils” and we have seen such a departure from the faith in these mainstream churches in Ulster.

We are not so much as aware of a single clergyman in any of these denominations speaking out against the Pope’s visit to Ireland and that is to their eternal shame.

If anyone reading this is a member of any of these specified denominations, we would urge you to enquire of your minister what their view is and what they are doing to challenge these treacherous comments they have made.

We would also ask every reader to pray the Pope will not come to any part of Ireland. God can cause events to move against this fraudster and we ought to pray he will intervene and keep that Romish man of sin away from these shores.

Matthew 21:2: “Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

James 5:16: “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Gerry Adams’ Day is yet to come if he doesn’t repent

Psalm 12:8: “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.”

It is a symptom of an evil day that the most wicked and depraved of men are held up as icons and heroes.

We know this is a day of departure from godliness and from the fear of God and certainly that message was received loud and clear on St Patrick’s Day in New York, where Mayor Bill de Blasio declared it ‘Gerry Adams Day’.

Gerry Adams (pictured left, with Mayor Bill de Blasio) was until recently the President of Sinn Fein, the political wing of the Provisional IRA, the Roman Catholic republican terrorist group which murdered and maimed thousands of Protestants, as well as many Roman Catholics, during its 30 year murder campaign in Northern Ireland somewhat euphemistically called ‘The Troubles’. He remains an elected member of the Republic of Ireland’s parliament, the Dail.

Gerry Adams claims to have never been a member of the IRA, but this claim is pretty much universally disbelieved and it is widely believed Gerry Adams was a senior member of the IRA Army Council, the body which oversaw the running of this sectarian murder gang.

Among the figures who are hardly friends of the Protestants of Ulster who consider it to be a fact that Adams was a senior member of the IRA’s Army Council are a former parish priest of his, a ‘Father’ Stephen Forde, and former Republic of Ireland Justice Minister Michael McDowell.

‘Father’ Forde’s only quibble, according to state papers, was how high up the pecking order Adams was in the IRA Army Council, claiming he was “number three” in the chain of command.

The IRA murdered 2,000 people during their period of armed uprising against the lawful British state in Northern Ireland, as well as leaving thousands of others suffering physical and emotional scars from their barbarous campaign.

Regardless of whether you’re in the minuscule group of people who believe he was never in the IRA, it is beyond contention that Adams was an enthusiastic cheerleader of the organisation and was a prominent spokesperson for this group, justifying the murder of Protestants simply because of their religion.

Then there is the fact that Gerry Adams knew of the sexual abuse of his niece by her father, Gerry Adams’ brother, years before the police were finally informed of the fact.

For the Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio to hold up someone like Gerry Adams as a role model is utterly perverse and God pronounces his judgement on such actions. Isaiah 5:20 says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

So it is frankly shocking that any day should be declared ‘Gerry Adams Day’, given his despicable credentials.

There is a familiar catchphrase of the Irish republican movement – Tiocfaidh ar la (the first word pronounced ‘chucky’), which means literally ‘our day will come’.

In a sense, we are living in what could spiritually be called, ‘Gerry Adams Day’, and Gerry Adams’ Day could be seen to have come. This is a day when evil is being rewarded and it can often appear there are no consequences for the evil actions of sinners.

Certainly this has been the mistaken observations even of God’s people. In Psalm 73:2-9,11-12, Asaph said: “But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.”

Is not Gerry Adams prospering? Do his riches not increase? Does he not speak loftily? Has he not set himself against the heavens? Most tellingly perhaps of all, does not violence cover him as a garment?

Asaph confessed here that his “feet were almost gone” and his “steps had well nigh slipped” because it appeared that there were no consequences for evil doing.

However, God showed Asaph the error of his thinking and revealed to him, when he drew near to Him, the fate awaiting unrepentant sinners.

Psalm 73:17-20 says: “Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.”

God despises the image of Gerry Adams and his ilk and will cast him down into destruction, if he fails to repent.

A day will come for unrepentant sinners, and that is the day of judgement.

The ultimate destiny of unrepentant sinners is clearly set forth in Revelation 21:8. It says: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Pray that sinners, including Gerry Adams and those like Bill de Blasio who exalt him, will turn from their wicked ways and turn to God as their own and personal Saviour and pray that God will convict sinners of their iniquities and convince them of their need of salvation.

And please pray that a day of revival will come in Ulster and further afield.

If anyone reading this is not saved, you are in the same danger as the most hardened of IRA killers or their cheerleaders.

There is a glorious cure to this danger and that is the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:7: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

We can obtain this by calling on Him. Acts 16:31 says: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

We pray that any unconverted readers will feel God speaking to them and take this most vital step even today.

Baby murder on the rise in Northern Ireland – thanks to abortion fanatics like Stella Creasy (Greasy!) MP

The butchery of babies by abortion supporters is increasing in Northern Ireland, unborn baby murder providers have told the BBC.

The provision by the UK government of free access to abortions on the mainland by expectant mothers in Northern Ireland has led to a 14% increase on the previous 12 months.

That equates to an extra 70 defenceless unborn humans being done away with to satisfy the utterly repugnant self-prescribed ‘right’ to end a child’s life, if a mother so desires.

In England, between July 2017 and February 2018, 553 women from Northern Ireland travelled over for an abortion, provided for free on the NHS (National Health Service).

It outstrips the 483 who had private abortions, over a similar period in 2016.

Despite what the abortionists might like to think, it is not our right to take away life, it is God’s.

There are so many verses in the Bible to stress this point that God is the giver and taker of life and we have selected just three to demonstrate this.

2 Kings 5:7: “And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.”

Job 33:4: “The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.”

Nehemiah 9:6: “Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”

The Bible also clearly tells us the value God puts on the unborn child.

Psalm 139:13-16: “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”

God sees unborn babies when they are “yet unperfect”, or when the unborn baby’s body is not yet fully formed in the womb, and He cares so much that in His book all our “members were written”. God has recorded the details of every baby before they are even born and yet abortionists seek to take the place of God by deciding if a baby has a right to life.

Leading the parliamentary charge in England to make it easier for would-be mothers in Northern Ireland to dispose of their unwanted children was Labour MP Stella Creasy (pictured), though perhaps Stella Greasy would be a better name, given her slimy antics at Westminster in undermining our own form of government in Northern Ireland, regardless of its own continuing difficulties.

Not content with making it easier for women to access abortions in England, Stella Greasy now wants full access to abortion in any circumstance in Northern Ireland. This demonstrates the pervasive nature of sin, and how it never says “enough”, it must always continue its descent.

We could take King Saul as an example of this. After a promising start as king, he then sinned against God by his impatience and impertinence in offering a sacrifice to God when it was not his place to do so. He continued his downward spiral when he became jealous of David and the blessing God had placed upon him, striving to take his life. He then consulted a witch to try to summon up the spirit of Samuel, despite God’s clear instruction to stay clear of such evil, before eventually being defeated by the Philistines and taking his own life.

Saul would have never thought when he disobeyed God’s divine orders regarding the sacrifice that he would sink to such depths, yet he did.

Sin begets sin and we are told in James 1:15: “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Absolutely incredibly, if one were to search a website called ‘Christians on the left’, one would find Stella Greasy listed as one such ‘Christian’.

How could anyone have the downright cheek to call themselves a Christian and yet advocate and indeed give themselves over to ensuring more babies are murdered and with less inconvenience to their mothers? It truly beggars belief.

1 John 1:6 says: “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:”

Around every three minutes an unborn baby is murdered in the United Kingdom and somehow we have the audacity to consider the UK a civilised society?

This land is filled with the blood of innocent children, with some 8 MILLION lives done away with in the 50 years since abortion on demand was legalised in England, Scotland and Wales.

Manasseh was a notoriously evil king of Judah in the latter time of that kingdom. His legacy is recorded for us in 2 Kings 21:16, where it says: “Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.”

The punishment of the land for this dreadful sin is recorded in 2 Kings 24:1-4: “In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord , which he spake by his servants the prophets. Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.”

Even though Manasseh at last saw the evil of his ways and repented (2 Chronicles 33:12-16), the land of Judah, because of the amount of innocent blood that was shed, came under terrible judgement for this sin that God would not pardon. It is certain that Manasseh was not responsible for the deaths of eight million innocents, so how much more judgement is being stacked up for the United Kingdom?

As in the days of Jeremiah, this murder of the innocents is not done secretly or shamefacedly, but openly, boastfully, brazenly and in the name of “progress”.

Jeremiah 2:32, 34 says: “Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number. Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.”

Dear Christian, please pray for the United Kingdom that God would turn the hearts and minds of the lawmakers against this act of wanton destruction and that God would once more be given His due place in the affairs of our land.

Pope here please – Presbyterian Moderator elect Rev Charles McMullen eager to sup with Satan’s servant

It didn’t take long for the latest choice for Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland to rush into the arms of Rome.

In his first interview after being chosen to take up the role in June, Rev Charles McMullen, minister for the past 19 years in Bangor West Presbyterian Church, was quick to say he would “relish” the opportunity to meet the Pope.

This is the same man who, at his ordination, signed the Westminster Confession of Faith which describes the Pope as “that Antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalts himself, in the church, against Christ and all that is called God”.

However, he has disregarded this vow quite spectacularly and, going even further than saying he would accept an invitation to meet the Pope when he comes to Ireland, and probably Northern Ireland too, in August, he has practically invited himself along to kiss ‘Papa’s’ feet.

“We don’t know for certain if the Pope is coming and if he is there would need to be some invitation extended to us,” gushed Rev McMullen.

“If an invitation was extended, our two churches would work out the basis on which that meeting would occur.

“As far as I am concerned, I would relish the opportunity to meet the Pope.

“I would hope that by meeting the Pope, it would be a small contribution on my part.”

I wonder what Rev McMullen thinks he is contributing to?

What he is contributing to is the lie that the Roman Catholic Church is a Christian church, rather than a pagan corruption.

What he is contributing to is the further degradation of the Presbyterian denomination which has been so sullied in the past 100 years.

What he is contributing to is the potential influencing of ordinary Presbyterian churchgoers into thinking the Papacy is an acceptable organisation with which to be involved.

What he is contributing to, most vitally, is the justifying of the corruption of the simple gospel of Christ. Rome says salvation is by works, the Bible says salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

The Roman Catholic Church knows only how to send people to hell with its tyrannical system of works.

As an ordained minister, Rev McMullen has a solemn duty as a watchman. God takes a very dim view of watchmen who fail to fulfil their role. In Isaiah 56:10-11, it says: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.”

God has called for dogs that bark, not nice little lap dogs metaphorically licking the face of “that man of sin, and son of perdition”.

Perhaps Rev McMullen will surprise us all by verbally mauling the man who blasphemes all three persons of the Godhead.

Perhaps Rev McMullen will tell “that Antichrist” that he stands by what he signed up to in the Westminster Confession of Faith when he began to earn a living from the ministry.

Perhaps Rev McMullen will tell the man “that exalts himself… against Christ and all that is called God” that he is a hell bound sinner in need of God’s salvation (Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”).

We’ll not hold our breath…

Located in Northern Ireland, we have a burden for the spreading of the true gospel of Christ and a disdain for the preaching of “any other gospel” (Galatians 1:8).

We long to see Ulster and indeed the United Kingdom restored to the days when God was revered in our land and when the laws of our land fitted in much more closely with God’s law.

We long for the day when humble, penitent, broken souls are coming to Christ in their droves for salvation, which is through our Lord and no other (Acts 4:12).

We long for the day when ecumenists and apostates are ejected from the pulpits they are corrupting up and down this land.

We long for the day when the darkness of Romanism is eliminated from our land and replaced with the glorious light of the gospel.

We long for the day when our leaders put God and not political expedience or material gain at the forefront of their policies.

We long for the day when professing Christians separate themselves from churches which fail to preach the full counsel of God and “come out from among them” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

We long for the day when professing Christians are filled with zeal, a burden for souls and a desire to see God’s name glorified and magnified.

In short, we long for revival.
