Barking mad – Romanist novena preaching Church of Ireland ‘minister’ holds dog blessing service

There appears to have been something of a new fad emerging in recent years of holding pet blessing services in churches.

Most notably, two years ago St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast (a hub of ecumenical compromise) hosted such an event, which was repeated last year. We are unsure if such an event took place this year.

However, if it didn’t, stepping in to this particular breach was ‘Rev’ Tracey McRoberts (1 Timothy 2:12), ‘minister’ of St Matthew’s Parish Church, Belfast as she held what was described as a “special service for pets” by the Diocese of Connor’s website.

That same report (a screenshot of the headline, as well as a picture of Rev Tracey McRoberts holding one of the dogs in attendance is pictured below) states the service, held at the beginning of this month, featured “15 dogs coming along for praise and blessing”.

We are further told that “the congregation at St Matthew’s is joined every week by Buzz, Rex, Bracken, Rio and new puppy Millie, and this special service was an opportunity for more parishioners to bring their pets along”.

What an absolutely ludicrous spectacle this was and apparently is on a weekly basis.

One must wonder what on earth sort of priorities this church or ‘minister’ has?

When, for example, did St Matthew’s Parish Church, Belfast, last conduct a gospel mission, aimed at seeing sinners repent of their sins and place their faith and trust in Christ for salvation?

We have looked and looked online and can see absolutely no occasion in which such a thing has happened.

It is, no doubt, likely that it has been several decades, at least, since there was a gospel mission conducted by this church.

Yet, here it is holding such a risible service with the purpose of offering a blessing to dogs, who will, obviously, have absolutely no idea what is going on and are far more likely to leave a mess behind them than they are to be in any way benefited by such an exercise in futility and, frankly, silliness.

Where is to be the notion of reverence in church when such a circus act is introduced?

Psalm 89:7: “God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.”

Dogs, indeed, despite our modern obsession with having them as pets, are thought of in a very lowly manner in God’s Word (Deuteronomy 23:18, 1 Samuel 17:43, Proverbs 26:11, Matthew 7:6, 2 Peter 2:22).

Regardless, of course, of what animal it is which was brought along for a blessing, the simple fact is that they do not have a soul.

Only mankind has a soul, breathed into us by God Himself at creation.

Genesis 2:7: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Yet St Matthew’s Parish Church and ‘Rev’ Tracey McRoberts are prioritising offering some utterly irrelevant so-called blessing to dogs rather than striving to see souls saved through the simple preaching of the gospel.

Of course, given what we already know about ‘Rev’ Tracey McRoberts, it is hardly surprising that orthodox Christianity is not one of her key priorities.

Back in July, we highlighted ‘Rev’ Tracey McRoberts’ participation in the Clonard Monastery Novena in west Belfast.

This was a brazen, shameless, outrageous act of ecumenical betrayal of her Protestant heritage and of the Word of God, which warns us not to be partaking in worship with deniers of God and His Word.

Ephesians 5:11 says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

Her participation in a foul, blasphemous event where Jesus is offered up as a sacrifice by a practitioner of Popish priestcraft and where Mary is worshipped was absolutely outrageous.

Indeed, holding such an inanity as a pet blessing service is almost admirable in comparison.

One certainly is left to wonder as to what exactly are the priorities of ‘Rev’ Tracey McRoberts and her ilk within the ordained ministry of the Church of Ireland, Presbyterian Church and Methodist Church, among others?

It certainly isn’t to preach of salvation through the blood of the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It certainly isn’t to preach of the atoning death of Christ at Calvary.

It certainly isn’t to preach of the absolute necessity to repent of your sin and place your faith and trust in Christ for salvation.

Rather, there are the friendly gimmicks, the soft soap sermons, the ‘thought for the day’ type fluff designed to tickle ears (or bellies, perhaps, in the case of the dogs).

We are left with the sad conclusion that such ministers are akin to those dogs referred to by the prophet.

Isaiah 56:10-11 says: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.”

Such watchmen are asleep on the job and are so obviously ill-fitted to the role they have found themselves in.

Let us not allow ourselves to be under the ministry of such “dumb dogs”, and let us not sit by idly and allow such “dumb dogs” to continue on in their role unchallenged for their failure to fulfil the role they find themselves in.

Let us continue to pray for times of refreshing from the Lord, times where, as we are told in Acts 6:7, “a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith”.

This land needs a revival and let us never cease to pray to God that He would show mercy towards us and send a mighty revival to Northern Ireland and further afield.

The ecumenical nature of the anti-abortion ‘For the Soul of the Nation’

Monday night past saw a large gathering of individuals from across Northern Ireland crowd into the ornate surrounds of Belfast Cathedral for a prayer gathering.

Their stated intention for the evening was to pray that God might intervene in the evil plans of men and women at Westminster (although Westmonster might be a better description given the monstrous plans it has for our country) to foist the massacre of unborn children on the people of Northern Ireland.

It was the stated intention of the organisers of For the Soul of the Nation to oppose steadfastly any efforts to facilitate abortion, ie baby murder, in our land.

It is certainly a commendable intention and indeed a commendable idea to have a prayer meeting to this end.

However, the fact remains we, if we are a believer, must be careful of the religious company we keep.

Agreement on a certain issue, or opposition to a common enemy does not give the believer carte blanche to associate spiritually with anyone sharing our point of view.

While in this matter those in attendance are to be praised for taking a public stand against this evil, many of those connected are not those with which we would wish to fellowship spiritually on a Sunday, so why would we do it on a Monday night instead?

Before you look at those taking part in or endorsing this event, the venue itself would be enough to start ringing alarm bells.

As alluded to in the opening paragraph, St Anne’s Cathedral, or Belfast Cathedral, played host to this gathering.

That church is a hub of ecumenical compromise and deceit, perhaps second only in Northern Ireland to the utterly anti-Christian Corrymeeela Community in Ballycastle on Northern Ireland’s north coast, with which it has very close links, naturally.

All manner of clerical compromise and religious rebellion is practised in the name of Christianity in that building (see here for just one example), so why would you want to identify with this polluted temple?

We understand that a building is not evil, but what it represents is rebellion against God and rejection of His Word.

God removes His presence from such a place.

Ezekiel 5:11: “Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.”

Psalm 127:1: “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”

The glory has long since departed from Belfast Cathedral, Ichabod has been written across it, and to choose to hold an event in such a place is indicative of the event as a whole.

Also of note is the man who led the way in organising the event – David Legge (pictured, top).

Sadly, David Legge is a man who appears to have descended in recent years from a previously sound, orthodox position, and he has now got wrapped up in the charismatic, shallow, ecumenical easy-believist movement.

A fine article on the Take Heed Ministries website of Cecil Andrews details a fair amount of David Legge’s downgrade in the past few years. You can find it by clicking here.

We highlighted his compromise last year when he was the lead speaker at the ecumenical charismatic prayer gathering, ‘Healing the Land’, which had the backing of so-called Protestants and Roman Catholics.

Indeed it was marketed as for Protestants and Roman Catholics and the previously annual event was not held this year, with Healing the Land instead one of the groupings backing this event, For the Soul of the Nation. Given Healing the Land was held in late August last year and this at the very start of September, it is highly likely it was decided running the two so close together might hurt the attendance at both.

We believe such close links are highly instructive.

The list of organisations given by the Belfast Telegraph as being involved in or having given its backing to the event includes CARE in Northern Ireland, Christian Medical Fellowship, CVM Ireland, Divine Healing Ministries, Drop Inn Ministries, Ellel Ministries Ireland, Evangelical Alliance NI, Healing the Land, House of Prayer Ireland, Stauros, Transformations Ireland and 24-7 Prayer Ireland.

We are not aware of or familiar with several of those organisations, but the ones with which we are familiar are ones we should not wish to fellowship with normally, so why would we do it now?

The Evangelical Alliance is headed up by a man so frequently lining up with Romanism he has rightly earned the moniker ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas.

Indeed he has previously stated his great interest in hearing what “that Antichrist”, the Pope, had to say in relation to matters including abortion when he visited Dublin last year.

True Christians shouldn’t want to hear anything the Pope has to say, unless it is to state his church teaches a false gospel and he will cease to take upon himself the blasphemous titles which rightly belong only to God.

House of Prayer Ireland, meanwhile, is headed up by the leader of Crown Jesus Ministries, the charismatic pastor known only by the matey moniker of Mitch (pictured, below). He was one of the key speakers at the recent Open Skies Festival at which the disturbing form of prayer created by the more disturbing still, Bethel Ministries, called Sozo was promoted and taught to attendees.

And 24-7 Prayer Ireland, meanwhile, is headed up by another total sell-out to Rome, Alain ‘Ecumenical’ Emerson, lead pastor at the charismatic Emmanuel Church based in the Craigavon area.

He is such a habitual ecumenist, from promoting the founder of the Jesuits as an example to be followed to preaching in Romanist chapels (pictured, below), that to attend any event endorsed by him would immediately make you very concerned indeed. He appeared in a video on the For the Soul of the Nation Facebook page encouraging attendance at it.

These are just some of the characters backing this event – do you believe good fruit can come from such a polluted source?

The Bible says it cannot.

Luke 6:43: “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”

We are warned against ecumenical link-ups with those who act contrary to God’s will.

Ephesians 5:11: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

The example of the good king Jehoshaphat foolishly aligning himself with Ahab is one we ought to take warning from today.

First Ahab courts Jehoshaphat’s support and he foolishly says he and Ahab and his people and Ahab’s were the equivalent of one another. This was not true as Ahab was not only a wicked king but notably wicked.

1 Kings 22:4 shows the approach by Ahab and friendly receipt therof by Jehoshaphat. It says: “And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramoth-gilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.”

His alliance with the ungodly brought down God’s wrath and judgment.

2 Chronicles 19:2: “Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.”

It is obvious that all true children of God should be opposed to the massacre of the unborn and it is good that so many people feel strongly about this.

However, a line of separation still needs to be drawn.

At the rally held in Belfast today (Saturday), one of the headline speakers was ‘Father’ Patrick McCafferty, a high-profile proponent of Romish deceit.

This individual frequently appears in the local media, standing up for false Romish doctrines.

We may agree with him on the importance of the life of the unborn, but we cannot agree with his false teachings which deny the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And this is the problem with the movement springing up around the pro-life campaign.

People are saying, ‘sure we all agree on this, let’s fight this battle together’, just as Jehoshaphat and Ahab did.

However, all this does is give ecumenists an excuse to follow their unbiblical desires and we must ever be wary of the tactics employed by the devil, no matter how attractive or wholesome they may appear to be.

2 Corinthians 11:14 tells us “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” and 1 Peter 5:8 urges us to “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”.

Don’t let the ecumenists use this most important matter to further their own corrupt ends and thus pollute true Christianity in our land still further.

Belfast Church of Ireland hosts ABBA tribute concert

In today’s liberal church, there seems to be little separation between the sacred and the secular.

Lines have been blurred to such an extent in many churches that it is hard to tell the difference.

And St Polycarp’s Church of Ireland, based on the Upper Lisburn Road in Finaghy in the outskirts of Belfast have trampled all over those lines by hosting an ABBA tribute concert.

This church used worldly music to try to lure in the punters, although it is hardly surprising to see unbiblical methods employed when one is aware of some details regarding the church.

Firstly, the ‘minister’ of the church is a woman called ‘Rev’ Louise Stewart (pictured on the left of the image at the top), meaning both the church and its ‘minister’ are automatically setting themselves at variance with the Word of God.

This is very clearly and inarguably demonstrated by simply turning in your Bible to 1 Timothy 2:11-12, which says: “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

However, often in many churches these days searching the Scriptures is frowned upon.

And no doubt the highlighting of the Scriptures’ position on sodomy is another aspect of the Bible which will not please many in the modern church, not least at St Polycarp’s.

Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

The reason it will no doubt meet with the disapproval of many at St Polycarp’s is because the church’s Director of Music, Simon Neill (pictured on the right of the image at the top), is an open sodomite, currently ‘engaged’ to another man.

Whenever a leading figure in a church, with a position of influence, is living in a relationship which is diametrically opposed to the Bible, you have a recipe for apostasy.

The Bible is absolutely crystal clear on homosexuality, despite what many Bible deniers and twisters might like to say.

In addition to the passages above, there is this rather unequivocal Scripture proof.

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Or this…

Romans 1:24-27: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

The next verse after the end of that passage highlights a significant part of the reason for such disobedience.

Romans 1:28 says: “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient”.

It is a conscious rejection of God, an awareness of what the Bible has to say but a deliberate disobedience towards it.

And there is this conscious rejection of the Word of God at work in St Polycarp’s Church of Ireland.

The purpose of any church ought to be to bring glory and honour to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and how can that be done by singing songs such as ‘When I Kissed The Teacher’ and ‘Super Trouper’, of which videos of the choir singing both are currently uploaded on the church’s facebook page, among numerous other worldly songs.

Of course, it cannot, as St Polycarp’s were too busy extolling a fictional ‘Dancing Queen’ rather than pointing poor lost sinners to the King of kings and Lord of lords.

You will see also from the photograph at the top of this article that the ‘minister’ of that church, ‘Rev’ Louise Stewart was dressed like a hippy, tucking her clerical collar into her gaudy outfit, while the outfit donned by the church’s Director of Music, Simon Neill, was equally inappropriate for a church.

How can this possibly be construed as an appropriate way for people in positions of prominence and authority in the church to present themselves to the parishioners?

Furthemore, Simon Neill appears to be a keen proponent of Mass music, played as part of that blasphemous Romish practice which the Church of Ireland ostensibly calls a “blasphemous fable and dangerous deceit”.

The Church of Ireland’s 39 Articles describes it as such, yet so rarely they seem to be observed by any within that institution.

Indeed, Simon Neill has posted on his Facebook page (which says he “manages” St Polycarp’s) about his excitement at attending the performance of a “new Mass” by a musician called Philip Stopford at Methody College in Belfast.

Philip Stopford is the former Musical Director of the totally apostate St Anne’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Belfast and here he is writing Mass music, and here is the Musical Director at another Church of Ireland church promoting listening to such.

Both St Polycarp’s in Finaghy and St Anne’s Cathedral fall under the Diocese of Connor.

This is the diocese whose links with the LGBT affirming and substitutionary death of Christ denying Harbour Faith Community in Carrickfergus we questioned and received criticism for doing so.

Yet this diocese is promoting an ABBA tribute concert organised by an individual living in open defiance of God’s Word by posting an adulatory article on its website.

Will anyone within that diocese take a stand and speak out against such wickedness?

If we remain silent when we see evil around us, particularly those who claim to be ministers of the gospel, then we are guilty of forsaking Christ.

Ezekiel 33:6: “But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

Let us be ever vigilant and unafraid to speak out against the apostasy in our land.

Isaiah 58:1: “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”

Arlene Foster attends ecumenical Remembrance service in Romanist chapel

The DUP’s gradual, yet continual, decline from its former Biblical standards continued even over Remembrance Sunday, which this year also marked the 100th anniversary of the Armistice at the end of what became known as the First World War.

The party’s leader, Arlene Foster (pictured, top), a Fermanagh woman, was in attendance at an ecumenical Remembrance service in the Roman Catholic church in Enniskillen, St Michael’s, on the evening of Remembrance Sunday.

And party MP, Jeffrey Donaldson, was in attendance at an ecumenical service where the Papist Archbishop of Armagh Eamon Martin was the guest speaker.

That service was held in the second biggest hub of ecumenism (the biggest being the ghastly Corrymeela Community on the north coast) in Northern Ireland, St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast.

At both meetings the chief preacher was an architect of Romish deceit and Papal priestcraft, with the speaker in the Enniskillen service being ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly.

Among the allegedly Protestant ministers who took part in the service, and who have all been photographed at the front of the chapel beside where the blasphemous Romish Mass is offered up, was Rev Kenneth Hall (pictured, below with ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly), Dean of the Clogher Diocese and minister of St Macartin’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Enniskillen.

He is a habitual ecumenist and you can read of his devotion to compromise with Rome by clicking here and of a service he held in St Macartin’s Cathedral honouring a Jesuit priest in the process of being sainted by the Pope by clicking here.

Also taking part, fresh from preaching from the Apocrypha in a Remembrance Sunday service in St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen that morning, was the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit John McDowell.

Another Protestant traitor added into the mix was Rev David Cupples (pictured, below), minister of Enniskillen Presbyterian Church. Rev David Cupples last year took several months off his duties to complete a Papist pilgrimage called the Camino de Santiago.

And completing the concoction of clerical compromisers on stage was ‘Rev’ Lorna Dreaning (1 Timothy 2:12), the recently appointed ‘minister’ of Enniskillen Methodist Church, wasting little time in laying her ecumenical cards on the table.

Add into the mix reports that other clergy, Orangemen and representatives of the Royal British Legion were in attendance and you have a very confused picture inside that den of Romanism.

This service was trumpeted as a sign of great civility between Protestants and Catholics, but it is in fact a sign of Protestants being deceived by the wiles of Rome and failing to keep themselves unstained from false worship.

When the world at large thinks a Church service is wonderful, one must be very sceptical.

Jesus reminds us of this when speaking in John 15:18-19. He says: “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

And what of Arlene Foster and her presence?

Given she is a member of the Church of Ireland, her local Bishop, the man who told her it was ok to go to a GAA match on a Sunday, is Right Eejit John McDowell and he was complicit in this ungodly show last week.

However, we are all accountable for our own actions before God, though a minister bears a mighty responsibility for the souls he is charged with providing guidance to.

Arlene Foster continues to eschew fundamental Biblical Christianity, something which her party was founded upon and which many of its members would still claim to support.

The Bible says we are not to share in worship with those who are spiritually unclean, such as the Church of Rome.

Ephesians 5:11 says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

We have received a few comments in recent months commenting on whether or not Arlene Foster is a Christian. Our understanding is she would say she is and therefore we must take her at her word.

So, given that situation, she ought to know a great deal better than to consort with Popery in such a flagrant way, or indeed in any way.

Rome’s false gospel of works-based salvation and its manifold other blasphemies, such as prayer to Mary and to so-called ‘Saints’, prayer for the dead, the Mass, the titles the Pope takes on himself, idolatry and the fictional creation of purgatory, are vile offences against God and His inspired Word.

It is little wonder Ulster is in the sorry spiritual state it is in when you see representatives of much of the major so-called Protestant institutions in our country participating in such a manner.

The same can be said of Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, though there was nothing distinguishing in his attending a Remembrance service with Eamon Martin taking a leading role.

To attend a meeting in the den of ecumenical iniquity such as St Anne’s Cathedral is bad enough, but when a Papist is taking the pulpit? What a dreadful mess.

Our country will never see revival if Christians continue to look to the likes of Arlene Foster and Jeffrey Donaldson for their help.

In 1921, the Protestants of Ulster were saved from Rome rule by the formation of Northern Ireland.

However, as we look at the untold damage the ecumenical churches have done to our country and as we look at the rising tide of voters choosing to back those who to this day support and indeed celebrate the murder of Protestants to advance their evil cause, we can see the judgment of God coming upon Ulster.

If the people of Ulster do not turn back to God with all their heart, if they do not cease to mingle seed with Popery, then this land will be taken from us.

There is much more than an echo of the words of Joshua as he addressed the children of Israel shortly before his passing.

Joshua 23:12-16 says: “Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you. And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the Lord your God promised you; so shall the Lord bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you. When ye have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.”

Arlene Foster and Jeffrey Donaldson would do well to pay heed to those words of Joshua and so would all who profess Christ in this country.

Where do your first loyalties lie?

Is it with the DUP? The Church of Ireland? The Presbyterian Church? The Royal British Legion? The Orange Order?

Or do your first loyalties lie with the almighty, all powerful, all seeing, all knowing, prayer hearing and prayer answering God of heaven?

He is the one true and living God and we must serve him with all of our being.

We would do well to remember the words of God to Solomon.

1 Chronicles 28:9: “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.”

Former Church of Ireland Dean of Belfast John Mann glorying in his shame with ecumenical award

Jeremiah 6:15: “Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.”

Philippians 3:18-19: “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.”

It is a most grievous thing to God when we sin, but that sin is compounded still further when those who sin take pride in their iniquitous conduct, those who “were not at all ashamed” when they had committed abomination; those “whose glory is in their shame”.

And so it is with Very Reverend (Very Reprehensible!) John Mann, the former Church of Ireland Dean of Belfast, who led the ecumenical treachery which is synonymous with St Anne’s Cathedral in that city.

In our picture we can see him grinning proudly next to the Arch-apostate of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who had just awarded him the ‘Lambeth Cross’ for his ecumenical work in Belfast.

What a dreadful thing to glory in and a shameful thing to reward!

The award citation for Very Reprehensible John Mann reads: “The Lambeth Cross for Ecumenism, for courageous and visionary leadership which affirmed diversity, fostered healing and made Belfast Cathedral (St Anne’s) a place of welcome as a sacred civic space at the heart of a divided city.”

Very Reprehensible John Mann has done many great things in the eyes of sinful men, such as the Arch-apostate of Canterbury, but nowhere in his citation has he been praised for faithful preaching of God’s Word, earnestly contending for the faith or showing sinners the way to salvation.

These are the things that men who claim to be God’s servants are supposed to, but “by their fruits ye shall know them” and the fruit brought forth by Very Reprehensible John Mann is very loathsome indeed.

This betrayal of his Protestant heritage was no more evident than in July 2016 when he installed a Roman Catholic priest, a ‘Father’ Edward O’Donnell, as an ecumenical canon in St Anne’s Cathedral.

What an absolute disgrace!

He installed a Mary worshipping, prayers for the dead saying, Pope exalting, Purgatory believing, salvation by faith alone denying heretic to a position of authority and held him up to the congregation at St Anne’s and all within the Church of Ireland and the wider Anglican movement as an acceptable, nay admirable, figure, worthy of being listened to and in whose hands it was acceptable to place your spiritual welfare.

He also launched an ecumenical youth choir with students from a Protestant school, a Roman Catholic school and an integrated school.

You can be sure that the Roman Catholic pupils wouldn’t have been allowed near a so-called Protestant church were it feared they might be taught the truth of the gospel, rather than the pagan corruption of Rome.

And what Very Reprehensible John Mann has achieved through this is help set a generation of young people on their way to hell by bringing them in to sing at services where he is spewing out his filth and shame.

On numerous occasions throughout his epistles, the Apostle Paul said the phrase “I would not have you ignorant”, but Very Reprehensible John Mann fostered ignorance during his reign of terror and he and his followers have a fearsome price to pay.

Hosea 4:6-10″ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings. For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the Lord.”

That is a powerful passage of God’s inspired Word (no doubt Very Reprehensible John Mann will add to his list of heresies by denying that it is inspired) and no doubt the fans of St Anne’s Cathedral will want to cover their ears when faced with this prophecy of Hosea.

Could there be more apt a phrase, “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” for the state that apostate clerics such as Very Reprehensible John Mann leave their congregations in?

God has rejected him and there awaits the same fate for his followers (“there shall be, like people, like priest”).

What a fearsome position to be in! Please, dear reader, do not allow some apostate to take you to hell with them.

Just because Very Reprehensible John Mann appears to be doing well right now, do not forget that God’s judgement is awaiting him and one day he will find he can run no further from the God he has claimed to serve but has so blasphemously denied.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13: “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him: But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.”

God’s judgement is coming on all who deny him and Nahum 1:3 tells us He “will not at all acquit the wicked”.

If you are involved with a church in the ecumenical movement, please separate yourself and, if you’re not saved, look to Christ, who alone can atone for sins.

1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

St Anne’s Cathedral continues efforts to undo Reformation with Jesuit celebration

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Ephesians 5:11.

The hub of ecumenical folly that is Belfast’s St Anne’s Cathedral is getting set to invite a Jesuit priest into its midst next week.

That’s correct, a Jesuit priest, that unholy order which led the charge of the Counter Reformation, the efforts to snuff out the glorious light of the gospel so wonderfully unveiled through Martin Luther and others 500 years ago.

The Counter Reformation was led by the notorious Ignatius of Loyola and guess what – the prayer service this Jesuit priest will lead will be focused on the “Ignatian Tradition”, so says the Belfast Telegraph.

The Ignatian Tradition is a most dreadful and unbiblical tradition and it is a shame and disgrace that St Anne’s would welcome a propagator of its lies and deceit into its arms. Those in charge there have emphatically and decidedly ignored the call to reprove the “unfruitful works of darkness” that Jesuitry undoubtedly is.

Of course, it should be no surprise to Christians that St Anne’s would welcome such a character’s doctrine into its building.

In September 2016, St Anne’s appointed a Roman Catholic priest as an ‘ecumenical canon’ and just last autumn the cathedral played host to a ‘pet blessing’ service, showing St Anne’s doesn’t actually know what it believes.

The cathedral also is inextricably linked with the Corrymeela Community, which is a sort of ecumenical nirvana, full of airy fairy quasi Christianity which pats itself on the back for being so accepting of all faiths.

The Corrymeela Community is in fact jointly hosting the event with St Anne’s Cathedral, which is taking place as part of a series of prayer services during Lent.

First up is this Papist propaganda on Friday, 23 February, led by the province coordinator of ecumenism, ‘Father’ Tom Leyden.

After that follows a female Presbyterian ‘minister’, the ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban (1 Timothy 2:12), who is in turn followed by Padraig O Tuama, the leader of the Corrymeela Community.

Two misguided Church of Ireland clerics, the Dean’s Vicar at St Anne’s, Canon Mark Niblock and the Dean of Armagh, Very Rev Gregory Dunstan, will bring this whole exercise in religious futility and compromise to a close.

So there are utterly inappropriate speakers galore on offer, but surely the worst has to be this exhibition of Jesuitry, the very antithesis and definition of opposition to and hatred of Bible believing Protestantism.

Ignatius of Loyola was “the principal founder and first Superior General of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), a religious Order of the Catholic Church professing direct service to the Pope in terms of mission”.

So this service in St Anne’s Church of Ireland Cathedral, a supposedly God honouring church wedded to Protestant Christian principles, is going to boast a message straight from the Pope himself, “that man of sin, and son of perdition”.

Galatians 1:6-9 takes a very dim view of lies in the name of God, which is all the Roman Catholic Church can deliver. Rome has successfully carried many in so-called Protestant churches away from the truth of the gospel.

Those verses read: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

God has pronounced his curse on the propagators of error and those involved with St Anne’s Cathedral, sold out to ecumenism, need to take very careful note.

The phrase “let him be accursed” is interesting, as it is a term appropriated by the Roman Catholic Church on its own pronouncements within the Council of Trent. Anyone who dares challenge the lie that the bread and wine doled out during the blasphemous Mass actually turns into the body and blood of Christ has this said of them: “Let him be anathema (or cursed)”.

They say the same for those who rightly state that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Jesuits were key figures in the persecution and murder of untold millions of Protestants (along with Muslims and Jews) during the centuries long ‘Inquisition’ it led throughout Europe.

Famous for its use of torture to elicit confessions from accused ‘heretics’, the Inquisition was an evil process led by an evil organisation.

Why would the Church of Ireland invite anyone representing the ‘Ignatian Tradition’ into its arms?

Bertrand Russell, a Noble Prize winning author and historian, in his ‘A History of Western Philosophy’, noted that “Protestant success, at first amazingly rapid, was checked mainly as a result of Loyola’s creation of the Jesuit order.”

So the group that put the brakes on precious, never-dying souls being saved is welcomed with open arms into a church supposed to stand up for the Protestant faith, which is true Biblical Christianity.

It is utter madness.

For anyone still involved with these ecumenical churches, we implore you to “come out from among them and be ye separate” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

A question asked by Elijah on Mount Carmel remains completely relevant today.

1 Kings 18:21: “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.”

The implication was clear; deep down the children of Israel knew the Lord was God, but they were following a false religion. Now is the time to break with these ecumenical false prophets and ecclesiastical deceivers.

Dear reader, please abandon these false teachers and if you are not saved, “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).

1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
