Corrymeela publishes study guide teaching a smutty perversion of the book of Ruth

Romans 8:6-7: “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”

The home of ecumenism in Northern Ireland, the wretched Corrymeela retreat near Ballycastle on the north coast, is forever trying to distort the Bible to suit their own anti-Christian, politically liberal and morally outrageous agenda.

Indeed its leader, Padraig O’Tuama (pictured, top), a Romanist, is an open sodomite, something which has very evidently not stopped him from rising to the top of that supposedly ‘Christian’ institution.

As is the case with most liberals, they are horrified by the idea of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union, when professing Christians should be very pleased at this development.

However, we are not interested in arguing the case for exiting the EU, but we are interested in Corrymeela’s recently published study guide which seeks to link the story within the book of Ruth and ‘Brexit’, the rather ugly abbreviated term for the British withdrawal from the EU.

It is a resource they hope to see used in numerous churches over the coming months and indeed they have specified on their own website that the Presbyterian Church in the nearby village of Bushmills will host an event working through this utterly unsuitable study guide. Shame on Bushmills Presbyterian Church. * (See note at bottom of article).

Entitled ‘Crossing Borders: Exploring Brexit Through The Lens Of Ruth’, there are numerous issues with the document.

As with all ecumenists and apostates, they scrupulously avoid using the King James Version of the Bible, choosing instead a watered-down version. If the King James Version was good enough for our forefathers, who we are told were so much less educated than we are, then surely it is good enough for us today.

It uses faulty sources to make its arguments, including the writings of rabbis. Let us not forget that Judaism is still waiting for the first coming of Christ, having denied that Jesus was God the Son, thus denying salvation by faith alone in Christ alone.

One of the two key issues with the document is that it utterly fails to recognise the key premise of the book.

Ruth, a Moabitess, a people historically at enmity with God and born from the most vile of circumstances – incest (Genesis 19:30-38) – renounces her nationality and the heathenism of the land of Moab to become a Jew.

The most famous verses of the entire book are the confession of Ruth, as it were, when she says in Ruth 1:16-17: “And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.”

Ruth is a convert to Christ but Corrymeela’s tinpot theologians, ignorant of salvation, see this as simply a case of immigration.

This is clearly an evidence of Ruth’s saving faith in Christ. She says “thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God”. She was owning the one true God as her God, not any of the false gods worshipped in Moab.

She then says “the Lord do so to me”. Ruth doesn’t say “thy Lord do so to me”, she instead recognises God as THE Lord.

Corrymeela seek to use this as a pretext for immigration, with the clear implication that accepting high levels of immigration is the Christian thing to do. Ruth is repeatedly referred to as a “migrant worker”. They ignore the fact that Ruth is a proselyte, rather than a migrant. We are not interested in arguing the case for or against immigration, rather we seek to point out that they fail to rightly divide the word of God.

This is done in two primary ways.

The first is to use this as a way to say the law as laid out in God’s Word is little more than a loose set of rules made to be broken and then by using it to attack the infallibility of God’s Word.

Here are just a couple of examples of what we are referring to:

“The book also introduces some ambiguity into the notion of racial purity by the inclusion of a foreigner in the kingly line. Some say it was written in the post-exilic period, when leaders like Ezra and Nehemiah were trying to reconstruct national identity. If this were so, then the book of Ruth is again a strong counter-narrative to the idea of racial purity and the imposition of forced divorce of foreign women in the post-exile era.”

“The book of Ruth can be read as a form of counter-narrative to Ezra and Nehemiah, telling a story where ethnic and religious purity is perhaps not as critical as they might have claimed.”

What they are creating here is a blasphemous argument that Scripture argues against Scripture. They are saying that Ruth is contradicting Ezra and Nehemiah.

However we are told in the Bible that “God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33).

This is utter Biblical illiteracy.

In addition, they are misunderstanding, perhaps wilfully, the point of Ezra and Nehemiah’s purge of relationships with those of other races.

It was not specifically to prevent Jews from marrying those of other nations, but it was to prevent them from marrying those of other religions.

Let’s look at the Bible passages referring to their purges.

Ezra 9:1-2: “Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.”

Ezra 10:10-11: “And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel. Now therefore make confession unto the Lord God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.”

The word “strange” can also be rendered “pagan”, meaning these were heathen women and not followers of God. Those who had married these pagan women were “doing according to their abominations”, therefore they were polluting religion in the land. This was the reason for the purge.

Nehemiah 13:23-27: “In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab: And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews’ language, but according to the language of each people. And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves. Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin. Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?”

Again that word “strange”, or “pagan” is used. That is the point. This is about religious purity, rather than ethnic.

Look at the children of such relationships. Verse 23 says they “spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews’ language”. These children could not speak the language of their fathers and they could not take instruction from a rabbi, meaning they could not read the Scriptures as they were at that time and were cut off from the religion of their fathers.

What a dreadful situation that was, and yet Corrymeela’s tinpot theologians seek to portray Ezra and Nehemiah as narrow-minded Jewish nationalists, when they were in fact earnestly contending for the faith.

With regards the rejection of God’s Law which runs throughout their study, they write:

“A principle is established, that the law should ensure compassion, and if it doesn’t it must be changed.”

“The cross-over is made into a world less predictable and more in need of being read and deciphered and interpreted.”

They are saying that God’s Law is errant in places and that feelings should trump faithfulness to God’s Word.

This is the very essence of the perversion of God’s Word behind the sodomite agenda which has made its way into a sizeable portion of the professing church – that “love is love” and nobody’s feelings ought to be hurt by the rules set out for our benefit in the Bible.

It is no surprise this argument is being made by a group like Corrymeela with a sodomite leader.

However, this leads us on to perhaps the most offensive of the serious flaws within this document, and that is of the lewd, vulgar insinuations within it in relation to Ruth and Boaz.

As is no surprise when one considers it is carnal minds, rather than spiritual, writing this, there is an obsession with obscene and utterly false insinuations surrounding the two main characters and their relationship.

In their introduction, this is what they say: “Of course there is some questionable activity as the heroine seduces her soon-to-be husband, but by and large this can be glossed over, and at least it is tasteful, but only barely.”

They add, when referring to chapter 3 when Ruth approaches Boaz on the threshing floor: “Will he respond to her like any other foreign widow, coming to the threshing floor selling sex?”

Then there is this: “It is unclear whether or not there is anything sexual implied here, though there does seem to be a suggestion of it.”

Then, in the questions they pose for the reader, they ask: “Does it matter to the story whether or not sex is involved in the encounter on the threshing floor? If yes, how? If not, why not?”

Then in their summary, there is this: “Ruth makes her extraordinary appeal after the harvest is ended (creeping up on Boaz at night and possibly engaging in sex)”.

There is repeated innuendo in this document, and it comes with absolutely no Scriptural warrant.

This is what the passage says in Ruth 3:8-14: “And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman. And he said, Blessed be thou of the Lord , my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich. And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman. And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I. Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the Lord liveth: lie down until the morning. And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.”

Where anyone can draw such a vulgar conclusion from in that is a mystery. Boaz calls her “a virtuous woman”, which would hardly be consistent with the insinuations of the tinpot theologians at Corrymeela.

Not only that, the passage tells us that such carnal activity did not take place.

It says that Ruth “lay at his feet until the morning”. She did not lie beside Boaz, but rather she lay at his feet.

For the tinpot theologians at Corrymeela to say that God’s inspired Word is “barely tasteful” is a grievous insult.

John 1:10: “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”

This is the case here; a worldly organisation like Corrymeela “knows him not” and cannot testify of Christ.

Let us be steadfast in rejecting those workers of iniquity, regardless of whether or not they have a cloak of religiosity surrounding them.

1 John 4:1: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Belfast Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church holds ‘LGBT service’ to celebrate sodomite ‘Pride’

The depths of apostasy in our land of Ulster seem to continue to increase, as we are grieved to say that tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon a Belfast church will host an LGBT service.

All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church will host the service as it disgracefully joins in the sodomite ‘Pride’ celebrations in our capital city, which has been overrun with this festival of filth for the past week.

Called their ‘Pride Service’, All Souls has been advertising its service on facebook, a screenshot of which we have dropped in below.

As you can see, they have, despicably, placed a table cloth embellished with the rainbow flag synonymous with the sodomite movement on top of the altar. You can also see from the caption in the screenshot we have provided that they advertised their service in the ‘Pride Guide’, a manual listing all the vile events being held to celebrate sodomy.

How much more polluted and perverted can so-called worship be?

When the law was being outlined in Leviticus, all manner of sexual deviancy, including incest and bestiality, as well as sodomy, is outlawed.

After outlining all these grave sins, God explains why they must restrain themselves and the consequences of such sin.

Leviticus 18:24-28 says: “Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.”

The land “vomited” out sodomites and others who perverted God’s natural order, because it had been “defiled” by this sexual deviancy.

What judgment must be awaiting our own land when it is paraded around the streets of our capital as something praiseworthy, as something commendable and as something noble?

This is compounded when so-called Christians are joining in the honouring of that which God has said is abominable.

We must at this point clarify that, regardless of this service, the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church in general, not just All Souls, must be avoided by all as it is a Unitarian church, meaning it denies the precious doctrine of the Trinity.

This means they deny that Jesus is the Son of God and therefore they reject our only means of salvation, which is by faith in Christ.

However, it is most distressing and grotesquely offensive nonetheless to see such vileness offered up as supposed worship of God.

This All Souls church has already been featured on ‘Protestant Revival’ as it is the church which hosts annually a ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ service and its 2015 edition was attended by Presbyterian Church ‘minister’, the ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll.

She performed a reading at the service in her role as Deputy Chief Commissioner of the (In)Equality Commission, the organisation persecuting the Christian Asher’s Bakery.

Back to All Souls and their ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ service.

The 2015 edition also saw the minister of that church, the Rev Chris Hudson (pictured, top), being presented with a ‘Transgender Champion of the Year’ award.

A presentation was also made that day to a woman who was soon to become the ‘Rev’ Linda Ballard (pictured, below), and she now ‘ministers’ in 1st Dunmurry Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church. At that time she had stated her “plans to form her ministry around gender issues”, a blasphemous notion and utterly unscriptural precept for any supposed ‘ministry’.

This is the character of the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church and therefore it is no shock to see them holding a blasphemous service such as they are planning for tomorrow.

However, it does not mean we ought to be silent about it or just ignore it or shake our head and move on.

We are clearly told in Ephesians 5:11 we are to take the opposite approach.

It says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

We are to reprove them, or, as that word can also be rendered, ‘expose’ them.

Sin must be called out for what it is. We must not keep our peace when we see such departure from and rejection of God’s Word.

Dear reader, let us not be silent in this day of great departure and declension.

Let us be as Jeremiah, who could do nothing but tell forth what it was that God would have him to say. Pray that you will be emboldened and strengthened by the Holy Spirit to take your stand clearly for God.

Jeremiah 20:9: “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”

The reproach of his neighbours and countrymen was weighing heavily upon Jeremiah, but he could not contain himself, he could do nothing but speak God’s truth.

He was “weary with forbearing”, he had tired himself out with holding his tongue and he could hold it no longer.

Dear Christian, have we as the people of God not been holding our tongues for too long? Have we not been silent for too long in the face of sin when we should have spoken out? Have we not allowed the enemies of God to gain great ground without us so much as trying to hamper their way?

We as a Christian people are expected by God to “earnestly contend for the faith” (Jude v 3).

In this day of deepening apostasy and of rejection of God by all and sundry, let us not be afraid to speak out against such evil, and let us truly be a Protestant people once more.

Quakers in Ireland give their backing to sodomite ‘marriage’

The apostasy in our land is deepening day by day and this has been shouted out loud and clear by the Quakers in Ireland, who have voted to hold ‘gay weddings’ in their meeting houses.

At their yearly meeting in County Limerick in the Republic of Ireland they decided to make the disgraceful, God-defying step of holding ‘gay marriage’ ceremonies in their churches.

Quakers Ireland covers the entirety of Ireland, both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

While gay marriage remains illegal in Northern Ireland, and we ought to earnestly pray this will remain the case, it means Quaker meetings in the Republic of Ireland will hold sodomite ‘wedding’ ceremonies, in absolute defiance of God’s own established order.

For our readers’ information, the Ulster division of the Quakers, or the Religious Society of Friends, boasts the largest number of congregations of any in Ireland.

In addition to two fellowships in Belfast, there are also gatherings in two further cities, Londonderry and Lisburn, as well as Coleraine. The rest, bar one near Dungannon in County Tyrone, are all in County Armagh.

The issue of homosexuality in the church is one we have had to address on numerous occasions of late, as so-called Christians and so-called Christian churches continue to compromise with this evil world on the sin of sodomy.

As we have previously stated, the Bible is utterly clear on the matter.

We will remind readers what God’s Word has to say.

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:22-27: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

At absolutely no point in God’s Word are same-sex relationships endorsed or even tolerated, yet even so-called Christians today, demonstrating the distressing apostasy of our age, are actively supporting such flagrant rejection of God.

The Quakers, in their statement on the matter, made no referral to what they see as being the justification for such a retrograde step, nor did they offer any Biblical support for their decision.

That is entirely unsurprising, as there is none, and apostates tend not to be able to use much by way of Scripture to support their stance.

Instead, all they said was that “If any Quaker Meetings, solemnisers or members do not wish to participate in meetings for worship for same-sex marriages as a matter of conscience, there is no obligation to do so.”

They said this was “to facilitate the range of views held within the society”.

And they concluded their shoddy statement by saying: “Quakers have a diversity of views on marriage between people of the same sex taking place in a meeting for worship because of the range of their theological, spiritual and biblical approaches but we are united through love for one another.”

This really is a dreadfully sad statement from the Quakers in Ireland.

There are issues on which we may disagree as Christians, but the issue of gay marriage is truly a fundamental point of faith.

God has already pronounced his curse on such a sin, having destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, and he has called it in His Word an “abomination”, “unseemly” and “against nature”.

For such an action to be carried out by the Quakers, regardless of whether individual members have the right to opt out of such events, is truly a separation matter and we would encourage anyone involved in that movement to withdraw themselves.

If you know anyone involved with the Quakers, we would ask you to share this with them and urge them to separate themselves.

1 Timothy 4:1: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”

2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

Senior Anglican figures seek to open floodgates of sin on their church

Two dangerous apostates in high ecclesiastic office are among the figures calling for the Church of England to lose its legal protection against being forced to employ all manner of utterly unsuitable characters within the church.

The Bishop of Liverpool, Right Reverend (more like Wrong Reverend!) Paul Bayes and the Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Very Reverend (more like Very Apostate) David Ison want the Church of England to be forced to employ people regardless of whether they claim to hold a Christian belief and regardless of their sexuality, marital history or “gender identity”.

Mind you, this pair are utterly unsuitable characters themselves as both men are noted apostates and their views on homosexuality are repugnant to the Word of God.

The comments of Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes (pictured, below) in support of his depraved stance are so at odds with God’s Word it is frightening.

He said: “If we mean what we say about opposing homophobia, if we believe what we say about wanting to include everyone, if we believe that God made every one [the way] they are, then what does that imply for our public policies?

“We will advocate for a greater openness and the implication of that is we may have to re-examine the prohibitions that are there in law at the moment.

“I do think we should continue to advocate for greater freedom and in the end who knows what that will mean? It may mean that one day it will be possible for people in a same-sex relationship to have that relationship affirmed in a way that is now illegal and in that case we would have to change the law.”

Very Apostate David Ison (pictured, below) added to the despicable abandonment of Biblical principles. He said: “We have got to come to terms with the reality of the world we’re in and we’re not doing that. That is why we’re becoming disconnected from society.

“My view is that if there is a price to be paid for what you believe in conscience then you should pay that; you should not make other people pay the price for your conscience. That applies to abortion, to issues of sexuality and gender and right across the piste. If it is legal, decent and honest but you don’t believe it is right, then you have to deal with it.”

Where do you start with those comments? Only men who have no knowledge of Christ could speak in such a way.

The first thing we will emphasise, very simply, is what the Bible has to say about the sins they are endorsing, chiefly homosexuality and the madness of the self-deception many people claim to have regarding their gender.

With regards homosexuality, the Bible clearly states it is completely contrary to the laws of decency and the natural order ordained by God.

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

That is absolutely crystal clear, one would have thought. However, not so for Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes and Very Apostate David Ison, as well as plenty more members of the clergy who would claim to be Christians.

This madness surrounding gender which is engulfing our land is clearly a perversion of God’s Word.

Genesis 5:2: “Male and female created he them…”

There is no in between zone, no gender transition or any of these other trendy terms circulating now. This notion is anti-Christian.

Deuteronomy 22:5: “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

When Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes refers to the Church of England wanting to “include everyone” and God making everyone as they are, he is on an evil path of apostasy.

The offer of the gospel is open to everyone. We are told in 2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

We are also told in John 3:16 that “whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

However, this does not mean that churches should include everyone, regardless of the type of lifestyle they live. When you become a Christian you turn away from previous sins.

2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Even those who have been guilty of the foulest of sins can obtain forgiveness.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

God doesn’t do business on our terms, we must accept that God is perfect, sinless and hates sin and we must repent of our sin if we are to obtain forgiveness. If we come to Christ as we are, he will forgive us, but if we claim to be a Christian yet remain as we are then that means no true work of salvation has been wrought in our lives. Convincing people to the contrary is the sort of sordid deceit people like Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes and Very Apostate David Ison are propagating.

As for Very Apostate David Ison’s comments, he says that you have to come to terms with the world. However, we are told in Romans 12:2: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

He then says “you should not make other people pay the price for your conscience”. Yet another anti-Biblical comment!

We are called upon to “earnestly contend for the faith” (Jude v 3) and to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians 5:11).

David Ison has no faith to contend for and he is carrying out the unfruitful works of darkness by endorsing such a diabolical betrayal of his Protestant heritage.

He concludes by saying: “If it is legal, decent and honest but you don’t believe it is right, then you have to deal with it.”

Homosexuality may be legal in the law of the land, but, as we have already stressed, it is a most sinister contravention of God’s law, and it is the furthest thing from decent or honest.

Very Apostate David Ison is on the broad road which leads to destruction.

Further emphasising the despicable perversion of the office of Bishop he is perpetrating, Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes is actually a patron of ‘Gay Pride’ in Liverpool.

This man holds the role of Bishop of Liverpool once held by JC Ryle, one of the godliest men England has ever seen, and it is indicative of how far spiritually the UK has descended that such a character as Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes occupies that position today.

Speaking after the announcement of his patronage of that festival of filth, he said: “I am privileged to identify with our Pride’s contribution to tackling prejudice and promoting awareness of the richness of our LGBTI+ community.

“I myself have been advocating in the church for LGBTI+ inclusion. At the recent meeting of the General Synod the Church of England made some clear and positive statements exploring services of welcome for trans people who want their true identity recognised before God.”

God does indeed recognise their true identity – as sinners who need to come to Him for forgiveness. God makes no mistakes, He didn’t accidentally create someone who is really a man as a woman or vice versa and to suggest anything else is a grievous slur on our God.

In order to counter them, we have had to repeat the vain babblings and blasphemies of unsaved clerics such as Wrong Reverend Paul Bayes and Very Apostate David Ison, who have created a false god to fit around their sinful notions, but we will finish with a quote from a true man of God, the aforementioned JC Ryle, and this also has a clear application for those ecumenical traitors sprinkled throughout churches up and down our United Kingdom.

“Beware of manufacturing a God of your own: a God who is all mercy, but not just; a God who is all love, but not Holy, a God who has a heaven for everybody, but a hell for none; a God who can allow good and bad to be side by side in time, but will make no distinction between good and broad in eternity. Such a God is an idol of your own, as truly an idol as any snake or crocodile in an Egyptian temple. The hands of your own fancy and sentimentality have made him. He is not the God of the Bible, and beside the God of the Bible there is no God at all.”

‘Peace, peace, when there is no peace’ – lying Protestant clerics mark 20 years of having sold Ulster down the river

Jeremiah 6:10-14: “To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days. And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord. For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”

Could there be a more accurate assessment of the situation in Ulster today than that phrase: “Peace, peace when there is no peace”?

When one looks at the shabby so-called peace we have in Northern Ireland, eulogised so fulsomely this week by the same old liars, deceivers, ecumenists and apostates who greeted the ‘Good Friday Agreement’ with such enthusiasm 20 years ago, one can only but see how much it would displease God when he looks upon this land of ours.

Any principles of justice were thrown out the window when that dreadful document was signed.

Murderers were let out of prison in the name of peace, and still 20 years on we have the likes of Tony Blair, a closet Romanist at the time, telling us it was absolutely necessary to release all the terrorists in order to achieve peace. What lies and nonsense!

We also have this week had ecumenical cheerleaders of clergymen this week hailing the agreement such as the Rev Harold Good (For Nothing!), whom we have previously discussed failing to contain his excitement at the planned visit of “that man of sin, and son of perdition”, the Pope, to Ireland, and another old friend of this blog, Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke, who led his parishioners into the clutches of Rome to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

In Job’s disputings with his friends, he is asked two rhetorical questions by Bildad. Job 8:3 says: “Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?”

While Bildad and his companions were unduly harsh on Job, Bildad here posed very pertinent questions and ones which self-evidently require no answer. Of course God does not pervert justice.

However, this is an area in which there seems to be a specialising in our province, where murderers and would-be murderers, be they Romanists or so-called Protestants, are allowed back on the street long before their sentence has expired. It is a complete affront to justice.

Leaders are put in power to see justice done in their land, as is demonstrated for us in 1 Kings 10:9 when the Queen of Sheba addressed King Solomon. It says: “Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the Lord loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.”

This is further emphasised in Romans 13:3. It says: “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.”

Our leaders were by no means a terror to evil works. In fact, those same killers released under the terms of the ‘Good Friday Agreement’ are now occupying many of the most important and influential positions in our land.

And we are told by apostate clerics such as Rev Harold Good For Nothing and Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke that this is a praiseworthy thing? As the Apostle Paul said, under the divine inspiration of the Holy Ghost, on many occasions in his letters: “God forbid”.

Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke (pictured, below on right of picture with Eamon Martin) did what all good little Romanist patsy Church of Ireland Bishops and Archbishops seem to do these days and issued a joint statement with his Papal counterpart, Archbishop of Armagh Eamon Martin.

In addition to the usual woolly nonsense one would expect from soppy ecumenists, Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke talks about “the Christian tradition we share” and mentions how he and his Romanist mate have a “sincere shared prayer” for peace.

Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke cannot share a “Christian tradition” with a Papist, for the Roman Catholic Church is not a Christian church, it is a pagan corruption.

His own 39 Articles, which supposedly govern his church, call the Roman Mass a “blasphemous fable” and a “dangerous deceit”, yet he is hand in hand with this architect of delusion which leads lost souls to hell.

If Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke shares a tradition with Eamon Martin then he can most assuredly not be called a Christian.

As for his “sincere shared prayer”, to whom is this prayer being addressed? The Roman Catholic Church teaches falsely of prayer to Mary and saints, yet the Bible says we can only pray to God. In 1 Timothy 2:5 we are told: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”. Does Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke believe there is a legitimacy in praying to Mary and saints?

Another apostate who was key in foisting the deceit of the ‘Good Friday Agreement’ upon Ulster’s Protestants is former Methodist President Rev Harold Good For Nothing (pictured, below).

He, along with ‘Father’ Alec Reid, a Protestant hating Romanist based at Clonard Monastery in West Belfast, played a key role in tricking Protestants into accepting this betrayal of their heritage.

Indeed, at ‘Father’ Alec Reid’s funeral a few years ago, Rev Harold Good For Nothing couldn’t have been more glowing in his praise to that architect of delusion who had helped corral countless numbers of poor benighted Roman Catholics into hell.

Rev Harold Good For Nothing called him a “very personal friend and brother in Christ”. As we discussed earlier this week regarding Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, Right Eejit John McDowell, they may well have served the same god and been brothers in that religion, but they certainly weren’t serving the God of heaven.

They “felt very secure in each other’s company”, he said. The attitude of a true child of God would not be so. It would be the same as the view of David as expressed in Psalm 26:4-5: “I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.”

Rev Harold Good For Nothing felt “very secure” in the company of the wicked. We believe that speaks for itself.

In his eulogy to a servant of the devil, Rev Harold Good For Nothing concluded: “May I offer you my blessing? Go forth my friend – in the name of the Father who created you; in the name of the Son who has redeemed you; in the name of the Holy Spirit who has sanctified you, may your journey now bring you to a place of real and lasting peace, the peace that you so richly deserve.”

What despicable words! Rev Harold Good For Nothing must believe there is salvation in the Roman Catholic Church, with its blasphemous denial of the precious Biblical truth of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Rome flatly denies this precious precept and therefore cannot show people the way to salvation.

‘Father’ Alec Reid hated Protestants and yet Rev Harold Good For Nothing felt “very secure” in his company.

At a meeting in Fitzroy Presbyterian Church (yes, a so-called Protestant church!), ‘Father’ Alec Reid said: “You don’t want to hear the truth. The reality is that the nationalist (read, Roman Catholic) community in Northern Ireland were treated almost like animals by the unionist (read, Protestant) community. They were not treated like human beings. They were treated like the Nazis treated the Jews.”

He later apologised for this disgraceful, utterly unfounded and deceitful diatribe, but qualified it with typical weasel words and said the IRA were “a violent response to the suppression of human rights” – yet another lie from Rev Harold Good For Nothing’s spiritual brother.

Indeed, there is a most interesting article discussing Clonard Monastery, ‘Father’ Alec Reid’s hangout for many years, on the ‘Irish Peace Process’ website, which can be viewed here, and its alleged links to the IRA.

Two decades on from the delivery of this shabby ‘peace’, we are two decades further away from God.

The numbers of those who faithfully cling to the old standards continues to decline in this land of ours which has so often benefited from the blessing of our glorious Saviour.

However, there is a way to see revival in our land once again, even though the day is evil.

It is laid out clearly for us in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Dear Christian, please cry to God for revival and that he might heal our land and bring true peace, which can come only through Christ.

If you are not saved, then you can have no peace in your heart until you submit yourself to God, repent of your sins and call upon Him for salvation.

Cling to the precious promise of John 6:37 today: “and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out”.

Leading apostasy in Antrim – Archdeacon Stephen McBride

Ecumenical fervency is very much the order of the day in the town of Antrim, and the chief architect of this Biblical betrayal is Archdeacon Stephen McBride.

A veteran ecumenist, the ‘Venerable’ Dr Stephen McBride is minister of All Saints Parish Church in the town.

During the recent ‘Holy Week’ events in the town, a lot of unholy mingling of the seed was going on, with many of the churches involved.

The ecumenical celebrations got underway on the Monday prior to Easter with an ‘Inter Church Prayer Service’ in St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Given Rome teaches the praying to Mary and saints, surely we are entitled to ask the question, as we have done previously, to whom were they praying?

The Bible clearly teaches we are to pray to God alone. 1 Timothy 2:5 says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

This service was followed up with another prayer service, this time in St Comgall’s Roman Catholic Church, also in Antrim. The speaker at the meeting was a so-called Protestant, Alastair Wallace (pictured), of Christian Fellowship Church in the town.

And the tin hat was put on this ecumenical betrayal on Good Friday, when the Antrim Clergy Fellowship organised its annual “walk of witness” through the town in a brazen act of defiance against God, which we featured earlier this week.

It began at Antrim Methodist Church (Minister: Rev Michael Gregory) before moving to Archdeacon Stephen McBride’s apostate abode of All Saints Parish Church. From there it moved to St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, before finishing off at High Street Presbyterian Church (Minister: Rev Colin McDowell).

By some distance the longest serving clergyman at their respective church in this area is Archdeacon Stephen McBride, who has spent much of the past three decades in the town.

And we have uncovered numerous details about him which mean he ought not to hold any position within the church.

He has a remarkably cosy and long-standing relationship with Rome, even for an apostate. A Belfast NewsLetter article states that these links go as far back as 2002, and no doubt much further.

It says that in 2002 the then priest in St Comgall’s “asked Archdeacon McBride to preach at a parish Novena” in order to put on a “more public display of togetherness”.

What is a Novena? It is a Roman Catholic ritual and according to the ‘Pray More Novenas’ website, “a Novena is made up of nine days of prayer and meditation, usually to ask God for special prayer requests or petitions. Novenas are often used to ask specific saints to pray for us”.

So a Novena involves the invocation of saints, despite the Bible’s teaching in 1 Timothy 2:5, as we have already referred to above.

Wikipedia continues and says: “The practice grew by the Middle Ages to include pious prayers for nine days before a feast in honour of a saint identified on a liturgical calendar. By the 11th century, the Novena practice had become a means in Christianity of praying to petition personal or spiritual favour to a saint, such as Virgin Mary. After the Reformation and Counter-Reformation era, the Catholic Church formally approved Novenas, in particular through the papal approvals of a large number of Novenas by Pope Pius IX.”

So the Novena has the stamp of approval from the Pope, “that man of sin, and son of perdition”, the man who blasphemously sets himself up in God’s place.

Wikipedia goes on to say: “The practice of the Novena is based in early Christianity, where masses were held for nine days with devotional prayers to someone who has died.”

So the Novena has its roots in prayer for the dead, which is a reference to the Romanist lie of purgatory, an absolutely anti-Biblical construct of the Roman Catholic Church. When we die we either go straight to heaven or straight to hell. There is no in between.

Look at the rich man in Luke 16. We are told in verses 22-23: “…the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…”

There was no in between for the rich man. He died and went straight to hell. And hell most assuredly exists, despite what Pope Francis might like to think.

The notion of praying for the dead is further demonstrated as a fraud when we look at 2 Samuel 12:18-23: “And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself , and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the Lord , and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”

David ceased praying for his child when he died. He didn’t keep praying, he didn’t hold a Month’s Mind mass, light a candle or pay a priest to earn his son a place in heaven.

David acknowledged no more could be done and acknowledged the comfort in the fact his son, who had not reached an age of understanding to call on God for salvation, was in heaven. He also rested in the comfort that he, as a saved sinner, was going to meet his son again in heaven.

Can you rest in that comfort? Are you saved? Have you repented of your sin to God and asked to be washed in the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Jonah 2:9 says: “Salvation is of the Lord.” It can be found nowhere else. Acts 4:12 says: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

We MUST be saved and Acts 16:31 tells us: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

Our sins, no matter how great, can all be washed away. Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

You can obtain forgiveness of God today. 1 John 1:9 says: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Don’t delay, 2 Corinthians 6:2 says: “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

The fact that Archdeacon Stephen McBride preached at this Novena, an act disgracefully repeated soon after by then Antrim Methodist minister Rev Jack Moore, with all the lies and blasphemies it encapsulates, is frankly horrifying.

However, this is what Archdeacon Stephen McBride has to say about his blasphemous betrayal of true Christianity.

He said: “It was one of the most memorable days of my ministry.

“It speaks volumes for the maturity of the ecumenical relationships that have been developed in the town that it was possible for the two clergy from the Reformed tradition to preach at a Catholic Novena mission without creating a fuss from either congregation, because the time was right for this to happen, and our people were encouraging further such exchanges to be developed.

“It is a day I will never forget.”

One can be sure it is a day God will never forget, if Archdeacon Stephen McBride doesn’t repent.

It is also indicative of the disgraceful shepherding of the flock that Archdeacon Stephen McBride, permanent minister in All Saints Parish Church since 1995, has demonstrated, that he brought his congregation to the point where they were “encouraging further such exchanges to be developed”.

His job is to declare the full counsel of God, in season and out of season. Jeremiah was instructed by God that, though he be faithful in declaring His Word, the disobedient children of Israel would not listen to him. This, however, was not to stop him from declaring God’s message, and it ought not to stop anyone else.

Jeremiah 7:27: “Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.”

Archdeacon Stephen McBride is abandoning this charge and many others to which he should be paying close attention.

We will remind Archdeacon Stephen McBride of the 39 Articles, which are supposed to govern his church, the Church of Ireland.

Article 22, for example, concerning purgatory, says: “The Romish Doctrine concerning Purgatory, Pardons, Worshipping and Adoration, as well of Images as of Relics, and also Invocation of Saints, is a fond thing, vainly invented, and grounded upon no warranty of Scripture, but rather repugnant to the Word of God.”

Does Archdeacon Stephen McBride find Rome repugnant? Clearly not.

We’ll share another one of his 39 Articles with him now.

Article 31 states: “The Offering of Christ once made is that perfect redemption, propitiation, and satisfaction, for all the sins of the whole world, both original and actual; and there is none other satisfaction for sin, but that alone.

“Wherefore the sacrifices of Masses, in the which it was commonly said, that the Priest did offer Christ for the quick and the dead, to have remission of pain or guilt, were blasphemous fables, and dangerous deceits.”

Does he share that view? If not, then why he is being allowed to stand in a pulpit that is supposed to be used to honour God, when he is using it to undermine the gospel?

We are also told in a biography of Archdeacon Stephen McBride that he is a fan of various types of music, including rock music and Gregorian chant.

A particular favourite band of his is Led Zeppelin, a rock group noted for its links to the occult, something which is expressly warned against in the Bible.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 says: “When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”

His love for Gregorian chant, meanwhile, is further indication of his love affair with Rome. Gregorian chant is the music of the Roman rite and is performed in the Mass.

Why would any Protestant minister want to listen to music used in the blasphemous ‘worship’ of the Mass?

This is one of the many question marks which must be placed against Archdeacon Stephen McBride. If anyone reading this knows him or anyone connected to his church, we would encourage you to challenge him on these matters and encourage those you know to do so too.

We are living in an age of departure from God and the road to revival will be paved with faithfulness to God’s Word. Let us pray that God will take a dealing with apostates in the pulpits spewing out their deceits, so that once again we will see a revival in Ulster.

Church of Ireland clerics Canon David Skuce and Rev Sampson Ajuka mark Easter by running to Rome

Fermanagh appears to be an active hub of ecumenical compromise and treachery, and Easter appears to be a popular time to indulge this sinful lust, and the West Erne Churches Forum will celebrate Christ’s glorious victory at the cross by blasphemously running into the arms of the Roman Catholic Church, which denies the power of His precious, atoning blood.

The West Erne Churches Forum previously attracted our attention when it hosted an ecumenical meeting in a Roman Catholic Church, and it will do the same again tomorrow (Good Friday) in a nearby chapel, Sacred Heart in the village of Boho.

This ecumenical meeting will begin in the Roman Catholic chapel before attendees walk to Boho Parish Church for a service. At its conclusion, everyone will make their way back to the chapel for “a second service of reflection” (more like genuflection!). Refreshments will be served afterwards (how lovely – Proverbs 23:6-8).

As was the case with the meeting we highlighted during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the three members of the clergy involved in this disgraceful activity are so-called Protestants Canon David Skuce (pictured, top) of Inishmacsaint Parish Church, Rev Sampson Ajuka (pictured, below) of Devenish and Boho Parish churches and Roman Catholic priest, ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips.

We are not especially concerned with ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips as, to use an Ulsterism, ‘what do you expect from a pig, only a grunt’.

However, these Protestant apostates are the subject of our attention and of God’s wrath.

Ecumenism is not a part of God’s gospel, as ecumenism necessitates compromise and we are not to compromise on the gospel of Christ. It is a dilution and degradation of God’s Word.

We are told in the final chapter of the Bible, Revelation chapter 22, that God has pronounced His curse to anyone who adds anything or takes anything away from His Word.

Verses 18-19 say: “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

These Protestant apostate ecumenicals are trying to take away the power of God’s salvation by their chumming up with emissaries of Papal deceit like ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips.

The meeting itself is a rather apt picture of what is happening in Ulster and has already happened in large parts of Europe.

It will start in Rome’s den of deception before moving to the Protestant church, reminiscent of when the gospel light was switched on and people deserted Romanism in their droves, but, when mainstream Protestant churches had diluted their message, it returned back to the pit from which it had come, the Church of Rome.

One of the chief drivers of ecumenism is ignorance of the Word of God. If ministers such as Canon David Skuce and Rev Sampson Ajuka had a proper appreciation of God’s anger at such blasphemy, they wouldn’t be doing it.

Jeremiah 8:7 says: “Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord.”

Another major reason for this betrayal of Protestantism, which is true Biblical Christianity, is a desire for these clergy to feel good about themselves as they believe it to be a noble thing to mingle the seed with a Papist. How wrong they are!

In Northern Ireland, we are expected to believe we are living through a ‘peace process’, and this in part means pretending many figures within the Roman Catholic Church didn’t play a prominent part in encouraging IRA men in their bloody terrorist campaign. Homilies at the funerals of murderous republicans are indication enough of many priests’ true views of their Protestant neighbours as little more than cannon fodder for their own anti-Christian ends. Of course, the likes of David Skuce is a subtly different type of ‘canon fodder’ for Papists seeking to undo the Reformation and destroy Protestantism.

We must state clearly that we are speaking generally in relation to priests and we have absolutely no idea of ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips’ views on such matters. It is certainly also true that a not insignificant number of priests were opposed to such sectarian violence.

What is certain is that Protestants in areas like Boho were ethnically cleansed by the IRA during the so-called ‘Troubles’ in Northern Ireland. Protestants living in border areas in County Fermanagh were particular targets of murderous Romanists and now we have characters like Canon David Skuce leading his parishioners in that very area into the arms of Rome? It is outrageous.

We will return to Jeremiah, a great book with quite stunningly similar parallels to be drawn to our situation today.

It says in Jeremiah 6:13-16: “…and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord . Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.”

Canon David Skuce and Rev Sampson Ajuka have rejected God’s call to separate themselves from the workers of iniquity and instead “they be blind leaders of the blind” (Matthew 15:14).

The conclusion of that verse reveals for us the outcome of this ecumenism: “And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

If you are a member of the Church of Ireland or another church practising ecumenism, please challenge your minister on their views and please separate yourself from it that you may not be partaker of their evil deeds.

Armagh Church of Ireland and Archbishop Richard Clarke celebrate St Patrick’s Day by leading Protestants to Rome

St Patrick’s Day will be celebrated in true ecumenical style, courtesy of St Patrick’s Church of Ireland cathedral in Armagh.

And the church’s most senior figure will be leading the charge into the arms of Rome.

The Primate of All Ireland and Archbishop of Armagh, The Most Reverend (Most Ecumenical, perhaps) Richard Clarke (pictured) is front and centre in this ecumenical exercise in surrender to Rome.

A host of events have been held this week which we plan to discuss later in this post, but the most significant of these will take place tonight (Friday, 16 March).

The Protestant and Roman Catholic cathedrals in the city will hold a joint vigil at 9pm, led by the Protestant Archbishop of Armagh and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Armagh, Eamon Martin. It will begin in the St Patrick’s Church of Ireland cathedral before attendees “will then be led by both Archbishops in torchlight to the Roman Catholic Cathedral where Archbishop Martin will conclude with a prayer”.

It paints a very accurate picture of what apostate Protestant clerics are doing up and down the country; leading their flocks stumbling and blinded in the darkness into the grasp of Rome.

It would be a pitiful sight were it not so sinister and disgraceful.

The Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke is leading his flock into the darkness of Romish superstition and deceit.

The Apostle Paul, before he returned to Jerusalem, told those assembled with him who had the oversight of the church to take their role as overseers very seriously and to be sure to feed them. He also warned of the spoilers who would come in, “not sparing the flock”, spoilers from both within and without the church.

Acts 20:27-30 says: “For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

Had the Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke done as Paul and declared unto his flock “all the counsel of God” he would not be leading them into the arms of the anti-Christian, pagan system of Rome.

The book of Ezekiel has a stark warning for shepherds who fail to nourish their flock with the Word of God, which is vital for Christian growth.

Ezekiel 34:2-10 says: “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them. Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.”

The neglectful shepherds were guilty of failing to strengthen the diseased or heal the sick. What greater disease and sickness does man have than sin? Jeremiah 17:9 outlines the total depravity of man. It says: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

If a shepherd of a flock fails to warn against sin and instead leads them into sin, God says he will require his flock at their hand. The blood of sinners not warned of their need of salvation through the precious blood of Christ will be on the hands of those neglectful shepherds.

We are told that light refreshments will be served after the event. How lovely! We can all go to hell together over a scone and a nice cup of tea!

Proverbs 23:6-8 warns of the dangers of being taken in by food which is appealing to our appetites. It says: “Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.”

Fellowship with the architects of deceit can only lead to destruction.

As for the rest of the festivities, they started and will finish in the Roman Catholic cathedral, somewhat aptly.

In between times, last night (Thursday) we had the frankly bizarre inclusion of a night of Portuguese traditional music in the Church of Ireland cathedral. What that has to do with St Patrick or salvation is anyone’s guess.

Prior to this evening’s vigil and journey into darkness, the two Archbishops will jointly discuss the legacy of St Patrick and his place in the modern world. Given the Roman Catholic Church tries to fraudulently claim St Patrick as their own, it is really difficult to see how the Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke will be able to have such a discussion without religious compromise. We will complete our summary of the week’s events by mentioning the event held on Wednesday night past in The Market Place Theatre in Armagh.

It was brought to us by the Armagh Cathedrals Partnership and was a special event headlined by guest speaker, ‘Father’ Peter McVerry.

Bad enough, of course, that he’s a priest, but to add insult to injury he is a Jesuit priest and has been for over 40 years.

The Jesuits were the special order set up by Rome to lead the Counter Reformation after the glorious light of the gospel had been revealed through Martin Luther and others.

It was a bloodthirsty, barbarous order and while its weapons have been decommissioned, to use a familiar Northern Irish term, its mission remains the same (much like that other murderous mob seeking power in Ulster) – the destruction of Protestantism.

This is what Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke is bringing into Protestant churches, this is what Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke is recommending to his flock, this is what Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke’s legacy will be if he doesn’t repent, to help destroy the fabric of Protestantism in our land.

Please pray that such betrayal of our Protestant heritage will founder, please pray that such betrayal of our Protestant heritage will be utterly cast down, and please pray that Ulster will once more be swept up in a tide of revival blessing that carries all before it into glory.

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The Bible alone – the only ‘gay conversion therapy’ required

The politically correct brigade have been getting awfully worked up over an event held in a Belfast Church of Ireland fellowship dealing with so-called ‘gay Christians’.

Of course, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) rights are all the rage at the moment, so any voice of dissent from the accepted wisdom, no matter how low or squeaky, will be howled down instantly by a chorus of intolerant ‘liberals’.

Willowfield Parish Church ran an event yesterday called ‘Is Your Church Biblically Inclusive?’ It is part of what is called the Living Out Course and is “designed for those who are, or want to be, a committed Christian but identify as homosexual”. It is operated with the support of the Evangelical Alliance, which took a rather foolish viewpoint on Billy Graham two weeks ago.

The church’s minister, Rev David McClay (pictured), said this was not tantamount to a ‘gay cure therapy’ session, and claimed that his congregation contains homosexuals every week.

It is good that Rev McClay is at least acknowledging that the homosexual lifestyle is far from desirable and is incompatible with God’s Word.

However, it is most odd that any professing Christian should consider it appropriate for other Christians to identify themselves as a ‘gay Christian’. And it is stranger still that anyone should consider themselves a ‘gay Christian’.

When a person is saved, they publicly reject and repudiate sin in all its forms and strive each day to become more Christ like. They don’t continue to identify themselves with a vile sin such as homosexuality. Would anyone identify themselves as an ‘adulterer Christian’ or a ‘thieving Christian’? We would think not.

The most important comments to be made on the matter are, as always, to be found in the Bible.

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:22-27: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

These verses clearly establish the natural order set by God and leaves no room for same-sex relationships, never mind same-sex marriage.

Why would a professing Christian want to associate themselves with something so profoundly contrary to God’s will? God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of the sin of homosexuality and God is “the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8), so why should anyone think God actually doesn’t mind it now?

There is a cure for homosexual urges, just like there is a cure for any other sinful desire, and that is the Word of God, where God’s great Salvation is revealed to us.

In the Corinthian church, we are told that some of the Christians there had previously practiced homosexuality, but had been gloriously converted.

It says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

Some of the Corinthians had been “effeminate” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” but they had been wonderfully saved through the atoning work of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood on Calvary to wash away our sins.

This clearly states such as those listed, including the homosexuals, shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. Why, again, would professing Christians then want to associate themselves with this practice?

We are told in the Bible of God’s transformative power, how when we are saved then we become a new person. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

If this should happen to be read by any who are experiencing issues over sexuality and Christianity and are afraid to get saved as they are unsure whether they can remain faithful to God, the Bible reminds us it is He who, once He transforms us, then preserves us. It is our natural disposition to sin in so many different ways since the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden, but, if we are saved, God will strengthen us.

1 Peter 1:3-5 says: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

Perhaps Rev McClay and the Evangelical Alliance would do well to stress these things with any homosexuals professing to be Christians they encounter from here on.
