Good Friday for ecumenists, Bad Friday for Bible believers as Protestant ministers walk hand in hand with Rome

Psalm 1: “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

The Easter season is supposed to be a time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and his victory on the cross at Calvary.

However, dozens of Protestant clergymen and women (that we know of!) took part in ecumenical Good Friday walks in various towns and villages up and down Northern Ireland. Among the Protestant clergy who led these processions was ‘Rev’ Anne Tolland (pictured), ‘minister’ of Newtownbreda Presbyterian Church.

Such ecumenical processions were held in various areas, including Belfast, Antrim, Portadown, Ballycastle, Newtownabbey, Downpatrick, Lisburn, Craigavon, Lambeg, Stewartstown, Castlewellan and Ballymena.

These processions were all listed on the Parades Commission’s website in advance of Good Friday, detailing which groups were organising and in most cases specifying the individual churches taking part. As an aside, it’s probably the first time the Parades Commission has proven to be of use to true Protestants!

Interestingly, the walk from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Boho, County Fermanagh, to Boho Parish Church, which we addressed last week, was not listed, though perhaps it did not meet the Parades Commission’s criteria for the submission of an application for a procession.

We will now list every ecumenical group / church dishonouring the gospel of Christ in their Good Friday Walk of Compromise:

Ballynafeigh Clergy Fellowship (Belfast)

Antrim Clergy Fellowship

Churches Together in Portadown

Ballycastle Church Action

Whitehouse-Greencastle Shore Road Churches (Newtownabbey)

Downpatrick Churches Together

Lisburn Inter-Church Clergy Fellowship

St Saviour’s Church of Ireland, Craigavon

Lambeg Churches

St Patrick’s Donaghendry, Stewartstown

Castlewellan Area Bible / Prayer Group and Churches Forum

Ballymena Church Members Forum

To save readers the need to count them up, that’s a total of 12 different ecumenical processions polluting the streets of Ulster, which once stood resolutely for the truth and purity of the gospel.

However, there remains now just pockets of faithful believers standing for the truth, and even fewer who are willing to speak out loud and clear against such departure from the gospel and fulfil the charge of Jude v 3, which is that “ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints”.

Many of these ecumenical processions were followed later in the day by ecumenical church services, further compounding the sinfulness of these groups and churches.

And we will list the churches involved in each of these organisations which held these Good Friday Walks of Compromise:

Ballynafeigh Clergy Fellowship – Newtownbreda Presbyterian Church, Holy Rosary, Ballynafeigh Methodist Church, Cooke Centenary Presbyterian Church, St Jude’s Church of Ireland

Antrim Clergy Fellowship – All Saints Church of Ireland, Antrim Methodist Church, St Comgall’s Roman Catholic Church, High Street Presbyterian Church

Ballymena Church Members Forum – Ballymena Methodist Church, West Presbyterian Church, All Saints Roman Catholic Church, St Patrick’s Church of Ireland

We have counted 34 Protestant churches taking part in these walks, representing congregations totalling, no doubt, thousands of Protestants.

In all these clergy forums and groupings, the Roman Catholic Church is involved, despite the fact that the Roman Catholic Church teaches a false gospel of works and merit, not the true gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Nothing we can ever do will mean we have earned salvation. Rome teaches of various means to earn a spot in heaven, including pilgrimages and rituals, as well as paying into its coffers.

This is what God thinks of such falsehoods and their propagators. Galatians 1:8-9 says: “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

Romanists damn their adherents to hell by failing to tell them how to get to heaven, and one must ask of these churches taking part and their leaders, do they believe we are saved through faith alone? Are these church leaders saved?

If these Protestant churches are so cosy with the Roman Catholic Church, they certainly cannot be faithfully proclaiming the Word of God, else the Roman Catholic Church would not take anything to do with them.

As those verses above from Galatians state, the curse of God is upon Rome and those Protestant churches, their clergy and their congregations are made partakers of their evil deeds by their association.

A great many churches and areas have been touched on in this post and we would encourage anyone reading this connected with any of these churches to take the minister to task for this betrayal of Protestantism, and if you know anyone connected with these churches, please share this with them to help spread the word and encourage church goers to make these neglectful shepherds account for their actions.

Here is a very sobering, fearful warning for so-called Protestant ministers who fail to warn their congregations of the danger they are in. Ezekiel 33:6: “But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

The blood of the sinner not warned of their need of salvation is on the hands of each minister who fails to discharge this vital duty.

How many of the churches listed above have ministers whose hands are dripping with the blood of unwarned sinners who have died and gone to hell?

Pope Francis denies existence of hell – what a fool!

“That man of sin, and son of perdition”, the Pope, has declared that there is no hell, it has been reported.

What a rude awakening Argentine pensioner Jorge Mario Bergoglio, otherwise known as Pope Francis, will get when he passes into eternity.

The man who sets himself up as God on earth has added yet another dreadful blasphemy to his list of crimes as he racks up more and more for God to judge him for after he takes his final breath.

Speaking to the founder of the famous Italian newspaper, La Repubblica, the Pope said: “Souls are not punished.

“Those who repent obtain God’s forgiveness and go among the ranks of those who contemplate Him, but those who do not repent and cannot be forgiven disappear.

“There is no hell – there is the disappearance of sinful souls.”

His comments sent senior Roman Catholic figures into overdrive, denying the accuracy of the reports, which is a classic tactic of someone trying to cover up what has actually been said.

Perhaps Mr Bergoglio is hoping there is no hell as he knows he’s heading there, or perhaps this is just another bare-faced lie told by “that Antichrist” to deceive people into ending up in hell.

Whatever his motivation, we can tell Mr Bergoglio and anyone who holds to the same view, there is most assuredly a hell.

How do we know? Because the Bible, the sole rule of faith and practice for believers, tells us so.

We will run through a few scripture proofs to clearly demonstrate this fact.

Revelation 21:8 says: ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Psalm 9:17 says: “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

Matthew 10:28 says: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Psalm 145:20 says: “The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.”

Notice the punishment for sin is clearly mentioned. There are consequences for your actions. We are reminded of this in Nahum 1:3: “The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked.”

While the Pope claims the unrepentant slip into a state of nothingness, the Bible clearly states that is a lie, and it is a lie straight from the devil, of whom the Pope is the most famous representative on earth. This doctrine espoused by “that man of sin, and son of perdition” claims there are no consequences for sin, no judgement, no punishment.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 says: “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;”

“Everlasting destruction” doesn’t sound much like a simple “disappearance of sinful souls”.

The final judgement of those who deny Christ is recounted for us in Revelation 20:10-15. It says: “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

That’s what the Bible, God’s inspired Word, has to say regarding hell, so who do you believe? The Almighty God of heaven, or “that Antichrist”, the Pope, who is destined for hell?

We trust that anyone reading this who is not saved will realise the awful fate awaiting them if they don’t repent and will turn to Christ for salvation.

Romans 10:13 says: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
