A well-known charismatic preacher and keen enthusiast of ecumenical fellowshipping with the blasphemous Roman Catholic system is to be the guest of honour tomorrow (Sunday) at Causeway Coast Vineyard.
Mike Pilavachi, who runs the charismatic, ecumenical ‘Soul Survivor’ church in England, is to take the stage at the church which is backed by the leader of the Evangelical Alliance, ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas.
Back in May, Mike Pilavachi was one of the main speakers at the main celebration in London of the brazenly ecumenical and Romish blasphemy embracing ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ prayer initiative.
The event was originally conceived by the Arch-apostate (though he probably prefers Archbishop) of Canterbury, Justin Welby, so one can be sure of the rotten roots of that event. The picture below shows Mike Pilavachi with the Arch-apostate of Canterbury and Bishop Michael Curry, the American apostate who preached at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Indeed, for that event, which Mike Pilavachi enthusiastically endorsed and which is designed for all denominations of so-called Christians, including Roman Catholic, there was devised a booklet entitled ‘Journey With Mary’.
It is described as being “for those who have a devotion to Our Lady to pray ‘Thy Kingdom Come’. It is a guide to praying with Mary for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit”.
Indeed, during the 11 days of the ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ initiative, there were daily devotionals from the Arch-apostate of Canterbury and Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster.
What a ghastly mess it is, but there was Mike Pilavachi up on stage beside that Arch-apostate Justin Welby back in May giving the whole God-defying event his blessing.
And tomorrow he’ll be spreading his message of easy-believist ecumenical claptrap to the north coast area of Northern Ireland.
We’ll just remind Mike Pilavachi and indeed ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas of what the Bible has to say about the Papal blasphemy of prayer to Mary.
1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”.
Hebrews 7:25 says: “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”
So Jesus is the “one mediator” between God and men, He “ever liveth to make intercession” for us and we are saved by coming to God through Christ.
There’s not one verse of Scripture to justify the worship of, or prayer to Mary.
So why are Mike Pilavachi and ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas happy to associate themselves with such blasphemies?
That is, of course, a question for both men to answer, and we would encourage readers to pose it to them.
Another question for Mike Pilavachi would be to ask him why he was preaching to what he describes himself as “Catholic charismatics” in Malta back in 2011?
He tweeted (and we picture the tweet below) on 2nd July, 2011, the following: “Blown away by the Catholic charismatics in Malta. Such a love for Jesus and openness to his Spirit”.
Before any members of the pedantry brigade proffer the risible excuse that he was trying to convert these Roman Catholics, we would advise them to look at the tweet again.
He was impressed by the Roman Catholics’ public expression of religion. He was happy to call them Catholics, so he saw no need for them to change their religion.
This is despite the Roman Catholic faith being filled to the brim with lies and deceits.
We have listed them on so many occasions, yet the message sadly still appears to have failed to get through to many who read this page.
We have mentioned the worship of Mary already, but the main issue is the fact that Rome refuses to teach the Biblical way to be right with God, which is by faith ALONE.
Not only does Rome refuse to teach that, adding on its own grubby laws of sacramental merit, it pronounces its curses to this day on any who teach salvation by faith alone.
Their teaching is an outright rejection of God and His Word.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Titus 3:5 says: “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost”.
But Mike Pilavachi, happy to endorse or at least turn a blind eye to this spiritual wretchedness, will be the star turn at Causeway Coast Vineyard and ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas has stated on his Twitter page that he is “looking forward to this”.
Of course, ‘Papist’ Peter Lynas has an ever-lengthening ecumenical rap sheet, which includes eulogising the ecumenical evangelist Billy Graham, who told Roman Catholics coming forward for spiritual guidance to return to the evil clutches of Rome.
Not only that, he stated his support for compromising alleged Protestants running down to Dublin to do obeisance to the Pope and he gave his enthusiastic backing to the ecumenical ‘Healing The Land’ prayer initiative.
And the former pastor of his Causeway Coast Vineyard church in Coleraine, Alan Scott, who oddly enough is praised to no end in a recent tweet by Mike Pilavachi, said he was “all in” with the Pope in a meeting at Causeway Coast Vineyard.
Dear reader, please do not be deceived by the smooth words and attractive to the senses approach of such speakers and such movements.
1 John 4:1: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
Jeremiah 5:31: “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?”
Many people like to hear the endlessly positive message of the Vineyard Church, Mike Pilavachi and many others.
They don’t want to hear about the depravity of their sin, of their wretchedness before God, of the certain judgment and lost eternity in hell for those who don’t truly repent of their sin.
Instead, they love the message that tells them of what big plans God has for their lives, how they were “made for so much more” and other generic, empty statements designed to appeal to our ego and excite our emotions, which amount to the religious equivalent of a fortune cookie.
Look to God for His Word to us, not to some charismatic who tells a collection of funny stories, teaches a life lesson and draws a verse out of the air and out of context to give an air of God’s authority to their ramblings.
2 Timothy 2:15-16: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”
