Noted Papist ‘Father’ Brian d’Arcy speaks in Ballycastle Presbyterian Church

The well known emissary of papal deceit, ‘Father’ Brian d’Arcy (pictured, above), was guest of honour on Tuesday night (13th November) in Ballycastle Presbyterian Church.

The Passionist priest was in attendance at a meeting of the Causeway Coast Peace Group, which sows its ecumenical seeds of compromise on the north coast of Northern Ireland.

Ballycastle Presbyterian Church is a habitual venue for all manner of disgraceful ecumenical activity, and regularly plays host to the outrageous ‘Ballycastle Prayer Partnership’, a monthly gathering of attendees of the Presbyterian, Church of Ireland and Romanist churches in the town.

Not only that, but in 2014 the minister of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church, Rev John Stanbridge, invited in to his church the Papist ‘Focolare Movement’, a group which functions to spread the worship of Mary.

The Service of Prayer for Christian Unity was held as part of the ‘Focolare Movement’s’ Mariapolis.

Mariapolis means ‘city of Mary’, and wherever such events are held that place becomes a ‘city of Mary’ for that time, meaning Rev John Stanbridge (pictured, below) blasphemously made his church part of the ‘city of Mary’.

Given his constant rampant ecumenism and rebellion against God, it should be no surprise to see Rev John Stanbridge facilitating the appearance of a Papist in the church he has the charge over.

However, that makes it no less a grave offence against God and that makes it no less worthy of condemnation.

We have referred to this verse on numerous occasions but that’s because the instruction contained in Ephesians 5:11 remains totally relevant to all professing believers today.

It says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

We are to condemn and criticise, or reprove, the unfruitful works of darkness, which Rome is, with its blasphemous false gospel of works-based salvation and its manifold other blasphemies.

However, that warning clearly means nothing to Rev John Stanbridge, who repeatedly invites Papists to participate in and lead meetings there in Ballycastle Presbyterian Church.

Lest he should read this or any other apologists for ecumenical compromise and opt to nitpick, we are aware and have stated above the meeting is being held under the auspices of the Causeway Coast Peace Group, an overtly ecumenical grouping.

However, Rev John Stanbridge would be well within his rights to prevent this outrageous meeting taking place, though of course, for obvious reasons, that wasn’t going to happen.

We consider it necessary to clarify who organised the meeting itself, given the pedantry of the ‘Rev’ Nancy Cubitt, so-called ‘minister’ of Bushmills Presbyterian Church, which is not far from Ballycastle.

‘Rev’ Nancy Cubitt contacted us after we highlighted the church she has the charge over hosted an event where attendees went through a smutty study guide of the book of Ruth, put together by the utterly ungodly Corrymeela Community. Splitting hairs, she pointed out that ‘her’ church only hosted the meeting, rather than holding it. You can see the article and the relevant comments beneath it by clicking here.

Bushmills Presbyterian Church was the venue for that meeting. Who held the meeting? Causeway Coast Peace Group.

The Causeway Coast Peace Group also held a disgraceful ecumenical event in Ballintoy Parish Church, another nearby village, back in June, where Papist Archbishop of Armagh Eamon Martin was preaching.

So this is the calibre of grouping Rev John Stanbridge of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church and indeed ‘Rev’ Nancy Cubitt of Bushmills Presbyterian Church are bringing in among them.

And ‘Father’ Brian d’Arcy, a well known Papist and ecumenist, is the calibre of character Rev John Stanbridge of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church is happy to have spewing out his false gospel on the premises of the church for which he is responsible.

Rev John Stanbridge is guilty of failing to protect his church and indeed its inhabitants, or congregation, from the enemies of Christ.

He is emphatically failing to follow the example set by Nehemiah when he was leading the building of the walls of Jerusalem.

Nehemiah 4:6-9 says: “So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work. But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth, And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it. Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.”

No watch is being set to protect the attendees of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church, Bushmills Presbyterian Church or indeed Ballintoy Parish Church from the overt ecumenists in their pulpits and in the Causeway Coast Peace Group.

Ministers are to be watchmen but God has a fearsome warning for those who fail to fulfil that solemn duty.

Ezekiel 3:17-18 says: “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”

Dear reader, don’t let your blood be required at the hand of a minister who is failing to warn you of the danger of engaging in conduct which meets with God’s condemnation.

Instead, follow His command to “come out from among them, and be ye separate” (2 Corinthians 6:17) and God promises He will receive you, and how much better it is to be accepted by God than to be accepted by man.

Presbyterian Church quitters like Lord Alderdice no loss to anyone

There has been much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth by hardened ecumenists and outright apostates over a few rather soft measures by the Presbyterian Church to limit the involvement of sodomites in the church, withdraw from the World Council of Churches and lessen ties with the Church of Scotland.

In truth, the Presbyterian Church has ambled about a yard down the road away from the depths it has reached when it needs to run a marathon.

But any move away from downright apostasy will always be greeted with howls of outrage from the world, especially when it involves the great cause of our day – sodomy.

This is a vile sin and unnatural, that’s what the Holy Spirit calls it in Romans 1:26. He calls it an “abomination” in Leviticus 18:22.

If you don’t like this, don’t take it up with Rev Stafford Carson, the Principal of Union Theological College, the training ground for Presbyterian ministers, and the man behind much of the doctrinal work which has provoked such apostate outrage – take it up with God.

And if you think shaking your puny fist at the Almighty will avail of anything for you, remember what we are told in Psalm 2:4: “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

As we have said previously, we ought not to despise the day of small things, but that is all the Presbyterian Church has done – small things.

They will still work alongside the apostate Church of Scotland, which has given its blessing to same-sex marriage, in areas of “mutual benefit”, whatever they are.

They are still in various ecumenical bodies, such as the Irish Council of Churches and dozens of local groupings.

They will still welcome sodomites into the church, despite this being a position whereby they are endorsing open sin in the pews.

They will retain women ministers and continue to teach them at their training college, where the supposedly hardline Rev Stafford Carson is the Principal. In fact he said this week the following: “At the present time the Presbyterian Church in Ireland ordains women to the eldership and to the ministry and that is a settled conviction of the church.”

They will still tolerate various corrupt translations of the Word of God.

They will still enthusiastically engage with what their own governing principles (supposedly), the Westminster Confession of Faith, calls “that Antichrist”, the Pope.

They will still allow despicable old apostates like Martin McGuinness’ mate Rev David Latimer, the Mary worship endorsing Rev John Stanbridge and Roman Catholic publishing house backed Rev Andrew Watson to hold their positions.

They are just three of the apostates we have written about in the Presbyterian Church on ‘Protestant Revival’ thus far.

We are sure there are more issues we could identify, but we trust we are highlighting the depths of the issues at large within the Presbyterian Church.

Despite the nonsensical protestations of Lord Alderdice (pictured, below), who has resigned as a Presbyterian elder and member over the matter, there remains a great gulf between the stance of the Presbyterian Church and the Free Presbyterian Church, which he sought to claim.

He, and others, including the previously obscure but suddenly “high profile businesswoman” (according to the Belfast Telegraph) Lesley Macaulay claim this is a matter of liberty, which is an absolute falsehood.

We will remind Lord Alderdice, a former Alliance Party leader (and what a wretched, God defying party it is), of what the Westminster Confession of Faith says.

Let’s not forget he would have vowed his agreement with what it said and promised to uphold it when he was appointed as an elder. This was clearly a lie, as we will demonstrate clearly now.

These words would also be helpful to Lesley Macaulay, whose daughter is a lesbian, who follows the time-honoured tradition of something being a sin until one of your family members does it.

Chapter 24, paragraph 1 says: “Marriage is to be between one man and one woman.”

Chapter 20, paragraph 3 says: “They who, upon pretence of Christian liberty, do practice any sin, or cherish any lust, do thereby destroy the end of Christian liberty…”

As a Presbyterian elder, Lord Alderdice would have been required to affirm his belief in the Westminster Confession of Faith in its entirety.

Either his view has changed during the years or he was dishonest from the start in order to gain higher position.

Whatever the case may be, he is an utterly inappropriate candidate for the eldership and his church can only benefit from his absence.

We are reminded in John 14:15 that if we love Christ, we will want to do what is pleasing to Him, not ourselves. It says: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

This same idea is referred to in Acts 5:29, where it says: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

God’s Word forbids gay marriage, but the likes of Lord Alderdice and Lesley Macaulay are fine with it. Who ought we to follow? We trust that is self-evident.

The only way to revival and seeing souls saved and our country transformed (and these are issues which appear to not even feature on the priority lists of the likes of Lord Alderdice and the non-entity of Lesley Macaulay) is through total faithfulness to God’s Word and a confession of sins, not wilful indulgence in still graver sin.

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Please pray, dear reader, for a mighty revival in our land, that souls may be saved in their droves and that our churches will eject the deceivers and the apostates and the ecumenists corrupting religious worship up and down this land.

Coleraine Church of Ireland welcomes in Roman Catholic Mass music

The focus of ‘Protestant Revival’ continues to be on the north coast of Northern Ireland and indeed Coleraine in particular.

Having highlighted the blasphemy of the leader of the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church, Alan Scott, in his declaration of unity with the Pope, we have been informed of more mingling with Romish deceit in that area.

This time the ecumenical compromise can be seen in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland in Coleraine, as the church boasted a celebration of the music of the central, blasphemous act of Roman Catholic worship, the Mass.

Gregorian chant is known as the music of the Roman rite, and it was part of a special musical service on offer in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland recently, on Friday, 27 April.

At the Mass, Rome claims that Christ is sacrificed again, meaning they claim He has been sacrificed again and again and again in every chapel across the world repeatedly for centuries.

This is blasphemous nonsense, as the Bible clearly demonstrates in Hebrews 10:11-12. It says: “And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God”.

Gregorian chant also includes what are known as ‘Marian antiphons’, or ‘hymns to Mary’, meaning this form of music is also used to worship Mary, which is a blasphemous rejection of God’s Word.

Again, the Bible is clear that we are to worship none other than God. 1 Timothy 2:5 says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”.

The music was brought by a choir called Counterpoint, which, as far as we can see, appears to be a choir based in the Coleraine area.

They have practices in both St Patrick’s Church of Ireland and also First Coleraine Presbyterian Church, and indeed First Coleraine Presbyterian’s website carries an advert for the event, meaning both churches and their ministers, are complicit in such betrayal of Biblical Christianity.

The ministers at fault are Rev Roger Cooke of St Patrick’s Church of Ireland (pictured, above) and while First Coleraine Presbyterian Church currently has no minister, Rev Eddie Dorrans (pictured, below) currently has the charge there. Indeed Rev Eddie Dorrans is a veteran ecumenist, having been one of the three clergymen who set up the ecumenical grouping, Ballycastle Church Action, which we previously featured taking part in a God defying Good Friday walk which included the Roman Catholic Church.

He also helped lay the groundwork in Ballycastle Presbyterian Church for Mary worship to be endorsed by his successor, Rev John Stanbridge, which we also previously covered.

By facilitating the singing of the music of the Roman rite, which is blasphemous in its nature, these men are failing to guide their congregations as they ought to.

Ezekiel 3:18-19: “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

If ministers fail to warn their congregations of their wicked actions, and indeed in this case they are at best indulging them and at worst encouraging them, then there is a fearsome price to pay.

We need to have clean hands from the church of Rome and its blasphemies and deceits, not be indulging in its wicked practices.

Deuteronomy 22:9: “Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.”

This verse, while referring to agricultural best practice, also has a clear application in the life of the Christian. Worship is not to be mingled with that of Rome, otherwise it is defiled. Just like Cain, who thought his offering would meet with God’s approval, it will be rejected.

When the children of Israel received the promise of entry to the promised land, God told them to utterly drive out the heathen living there at that time and to take nothing to do with them.

However, they failed to do so and, when they began to depart from God, they started to indulge in the religious practices of the heathen.

Judges 2:12-14: “And they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the Lord to anger. And they forsook the Lord , and served Baal and Ashtaroth. And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel”.

We can justly say the Lord’s anger would be hot against the partakers in and supporters and attendees of such an event in a supposedly Protestant church as one that features the very music used in the “blasphemous fable and dangerous deceit” of the Roman Catholic Mass and which is used to blasphemously worship Mary.

Psalm 7:11 tells us that “God is angry with the wicked every day.”

If you are not saved, God is angry with you right now. The next verse of Psalm 7 tells us if you are in that position, God is readying Himself for judgement.

Psalm 7:12 says: “If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.”

Turn to Christ before it is too late.

2 Corinthians 6:2 “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Rev John Stanbridge brings Mary worship to Ballycastle Presbyterian Church

On Monday night, Protestantism continued its incremental sell-out to Romanism with the latest meeting of the Ballycastle Prayer Partnership.

Held in the Presbyterian Church in that overwhelmingly Roman Catholic seaside town in North Antrim, the main participants were members of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church, Church of St Patrick and St Brigid Roman Catholic Church and Holy Trinity Parish Church (Church of Ireland).

These three churches are part of the ecumenical grouping, Ballycastle Church Action, one of many such groups which held their blasphemous ecumenical walks on Good Friday, which we previously highlighted. A newsletter from the Church of Ireland in that town also advertised a Women’s World Day of Prayer event in St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church. We have previously addressed the God-defying nature of the Women’s World Day of Prayer.

The so-called Protestant clergymen involved in the ecumenical sell-out are Rev John Stanbridge (Presbyterian, pictured, top) and Rev David Ferguson (Church of Ireland, pictured, below), both committed ecumenists.

In fact, according to a Ballycastle Church Action newsletter from 2013, its author expressed their excitement at seeing the pair ordained in their respective churches so they could lessen the load of running this anti-Biblical grouping which was then on the parish priest, a ‘Father’ Brian Daly.

The Ballycastle Prayer Partnership would appear to meet on a monthly basis or close to it, as we have, scanning back through the Roman Catholic parish bulletins, seen notices for the meetings in three of the four months thus far this year, all of which were in the Presbyterian Church premises.

If Rome is inviting you to attend a supposedly religious gathering, then you can be confident it’s not worth attending.

We have posed the question on numerous occasions previously on ‘Protestant Revival’, and it remains entirely relevant – to whom are the attendees at these gatherings praying?

Rome blasphemously teaches of prayer to Mary and saints, but the Bible teaches only of prayer to God, through Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5 says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Hebrews 7:25: “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

There is no other person we approach God through but His Son, who shed His precious blood at Calvary that we might be saved.

The idolatry of Mary worship practiced by Roman Catholics is expressly forbidden in the Bible.

Exodus 20:4-5 tells us to steer clear of idolatry. It says: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:”

This message is reiterated in Leviticus 26:1: “Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.”

Exaltation of and prayer to Mary can be found absolutely nowhere in the Bible, so why does Ballycastle Presbyterian Church play host to a ‘prayer partnership’ with a church which teaches this blasphemy? And why does the Church of Ireland in Ballycastle also engage in it?

Is one person in the gathering praying to Mary and the person beside them praying to God? What confusion, and we can say with assurance that “God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33).

Of course, their prayers are not getting beyond the ceiling of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church because God will not hear the prayers of such people as are gathered there.

Proverbs 28:9: “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.”

Those in attendance at this ‘prayer partnership’ have ignored God’s law, and that means every prayer offered up there on Monday night was rejected by God as an abomination.

Abominations are no new thing at Ballycastle Presbyterian Church, sadly.

In the summer of 2014, the Church played host to a Service of Prayer for Christian Unity as part of the Focolare Movement’s Mariapolis.

You may ask, what is that?

The Focolare Movement is a Roman Catholic movement whose chief goals are “to cooperate in the consolidation of unity in the Christian world, with individuals and groups, movements and associations; to contribute to full communion with Christians of different churches; and to work towards universal brother / sisterhood of all peoples, regardless of religious beliefs”.

An ecumenical nirvana then, where religious beliefs are left at the door.

Pope Francis, speaking in relation to the grouping, has said: “The Work of Mary, that everyone knows as the Focolare Movement…”

It is another method by which the Roman Catholic Church worships Mary and the Focolare Movement’s Mariapolis is a medium by which this is carried out. Mariapolis means “city of Mary” and wherever the event is held, that place becomes a “city of Mary”.

Therefore, by celebrating this God defying festival, Ballycastle Presbyterian Church made itself part of the “city of Mary”. What utter blasphemy!

That same meeting was also addressed by the Roman Catholic Bishop of Down and Connor, Noel Treanor, while a recorded video greeting was sent by the Church of Ireland Bishop of Connor, the Right Reverend (another Right Eejit in actual fact!) Alan Abernethy.

Ballycastle Presbyterian Church also, in 2015, played host to an ecumenical ‘Songs of Praise’ event celebrating the Moyle District Council, which was at that time absorbed into one of the new larger councils.

Among the utterly unacceptable participants was a representative from the Corrymeela Community, the home of Northern Irish ecumenism which is based in Ballycastle, and the closing prayer was performed by the already-mentioned ‘Father’ Brian Daly.

Rev John Stanbridge, and Rev David Ferguson will have to answer to God for their heresy and betrayal of His Word.

They are supposed to be proclaimers of God’s truth and ought to point the way to salvation but they cannot when they endorse Romanism, which is a pagan corruption.

Ezekiel 33:6: “But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

Oh the blood on the hands of so many alleged religious leaders in Ballycastle.

Please, dear reader, don’t allow some apostate preacher to have your blood on their hands, but look to Christ and ask Him to cleanse you in His precious blood so that you might be saved.

1 Peter 1:18-19: “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
