Church of Ireland sit by as their minister leads sodomite ‘Pride’ parade

Isaiah 56:10: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”

Two recurring themes within the Church of Ireland is its deafening silence on issues which should appal any true child of God and its utter inactivity when presented with a minister who openly defies God.

Both of these matters came sharply into focus recently with the sad case of Rev Andrew Rawding, one of its ministers in County Tyrone.

His apostate actions in leading a procession in celebration of sodomite ‘Pride’ are frankly outrageous, but the Church of Ireland steadfastly refuses to do anything about it.

A number of weeks have passed since Rev Andrew Rawding’s outrageous act of rebellion against his church’s teaching and, most importantly, against God and His Word.

However, still there has been no response or action taken in relation to his shameful behaviour, as they remain silent in the face of grave, brazen sin.

As a quick reminder, Rev Andrew Rawding led a sodomite ‘Pride’ parade through Cookstown in County Tyrone last month in a celebration of that which God calls an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).

The parade had originally been due to be held in June, but the Covid lockdown saw it rearranged to September.

Despite it being clear that mass gatherings would still not be permitted come September, the organisers, Mid Ulster Pride, were so determined to go on in their sin, they organised a parade anyway, with 15 people (with Rev Andrew Rawding very much to the fore) carrying placards in support of their ungodly cause  through the town centre on a Saturday afternoon.

Praise God there was a protest mounted against this wickedness, but sadly not so much as a squeak of opposition from Rev Andrew Rawding’s denomination, the Church of Ireland.

In the weeks that have passed since his outrageous, God-defying actions, there has been nothing said by the Church of Ireland’s Diocese of Armagh against it, nor has there been a word said by the Church of Ireland body as a whole, nor, to the best of our knowledge, has a single Church of Ireland minister made a public statement to repudiate Rev Andrew Rawding’s actions.

The Church of Ireland Diocese of Armagh has been able to publish a number of statements on their website in the meantime, including an article headlined ‘Letter from UK Anglican Primates on Internal Market Bill’, because the likes of Archbishop Right Eejit John McDowell’s views on the EU are sure to make a huge difference.

There was also a fascinating and, no doubt much valued statement thanking teachers for, well, teaching. Inspirational stuff.

But there is nothing about one of its ministers supporting dreadful wickedness, they are but dumb dogs slumbering, as the verse at the top of this article states.

What use is a watchman that does not watch and what use is a guard dog that does not bark?

The Diocese of Armagh has a duty of spiritual care to its members and parishioners and, indeed, to its ministers like Rev Andrew Rawding.

This is a man so clearly in error as he stands up to promote grave sin, yet the Church of Ireland is making no effort to correct him.

Last year, when asked by the Belfast Newsletter if they planned to do anything about his brazen defiance of God’s Word, this is what the report regarding their response said:

“The spokesman said that church teaching is agreed in a “democratic” process; Many clergy and laity disagree with church teaching “and may continue to hold their point of view, but it will not be the official position of the Church”.”

The Church of Ireland is perfectly content for Rev Andrew Rawding to continue to promote that which God calls an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22) and “vile”, “against nature” and “unseemly” (Romans 1:26-27).

Yet surely if they have a love for his soul and a love for the souls of the people over whom he has spiritual authority, they would want to sound a warning?

Alas, no, they are too busy speaking into the air on Brexit and offering pointless words of praise to teachers in bland statements.

Sadly these dumb dogs are far too prevalent in church hierarchies today, not just in the Church of Ireland.

May God save us from such dumb dogs and rather give us dogs that bark in this wicked day and generation.

May we even be blessed with a generation of religious leaders who are as those in Daniel 11:32, who “do know their God”.

Let them “be strong, and do exploits”, not be weak, and do nothing.

Sodomite ‘Pride’ group persists with parade despite coronavirus pandemic

Proverbs 1:29-31: “For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.”

As the spread of Covid-19, the deadly strain of coronavirus, accelerates throughout the world, all sorts of events and social gatherings have been cancelled.

Be it St Patrick’s Day events, major sporting occasions, church services or big and popular events particular to Northern Ireland like the Balmoral Show and all Orange Order marches and band parades, the nation has come to a virtual standstill.

One might have hoped that, amid the numerous onerous restrictions which are sensibly being placed on all of our movements and socialising, the enemies of God would at least forget about their God defiance for this year.

However, not so for the campaigners in the pro-sodomy lobby in the Mid-Ulster area as they have signalled their determination to parade their godlessness in front of everyone this year.

We have previously highlighted the wicked, planned Mid Ulster Pride parade which was due to be held on Saturday, 13 June.

Now, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organisers of this parade have indicated that it will no longer take place on that date.

Great news, the true child of God might say.

However, undeterred in their desire to defy God, Mid Ulster Pride has announced they will hold their parade of rebellion instead on Saturday, 19 September.

They are stubborn in their desire to not only break God’s law but to also rub it in the noses of all and sundry.

Of course, given the warnings that the effects of this pandemic could be felt for anything up to 18 months, it is rather presumptuous to reorganise it for six months time and just further evidence of the pride at work in this LGBT movement.

The good news is that another event, which Mid Ulster Pride had previously titled ‘Blessed are the Queer’, before receiving negative publicity for this outrageous episode in blasphemy, has been cancelled.

It had been renamed to ‘No Fear in Love’ after the initial title had met with public condemnation and was due to be addressed by two ordained Presbyterian ‘ministers’, Rev Laurence Kirkpatrick and ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban (pictured, below).

The launch event of the Mid Ulster Pride group back in January was met with a number of protests from different groups.

However, like the fools referred to in the passage at the top of this article, those celebrating sin have “despised reproof” as they “did not choose the fear of the Lord”.

How sad it is to see that even a global pandemic which has claimed the lives of more than 10,000 people is not enough to cause this sodomite group, whose vice-Chair, lest we forget, is a Church of Ireland minister named Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), to cancel altogether their celebration of sin.

Proverbs 8:13 warns that such pride and evil ways are hated by the Lord.

It says: “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.”

Let us demonstrate the fear of the Lord so clearly lacking in those involved with Mid Ulster Pride and let us be steadfast in our standing up for His truth in this increasingly wicked day.

Bangor Church of Ireland holds ‘celebration of LGBTQ inclusion’

Much of the world’s news bulletins are currently being dominated with news of the spread of the coronavirus.

More than 60,000 people have been reported as infected with the disease and over 1,500 have lost their lives.

Such is the danger and fear caused by this disease that rigorous quarantine procedures have been put in place in an effort to curb the spread of the disease.

Sadly, no such precautions are being put in place in many areas of the professing church today to prevent the spread of a deadly virus which is infecting the minds and souls of so many.

That is the bizarre and utterly unscriptural concept that the various violations of God’s established order which make up the LGBTQ acronym and movement are somehow pleasing to God or welcomed by Him.

Never worry that the Bible repeatedly condemns these sins, those involved in this campaign to affirm all forms of wickedness are listening to their own notions rather than God’s Word.

Proverbs 14:12 sums it up rather succinctly. It says: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

We are all sinful and when we rely on our own wisdom we go astray, and there can be no doubt that such notions as those within the LGBTQ movement are of man’s own wisdom.

And such exaltation of man was on show just a few weeks ago as a Church of Ireland congregation in the Bangor area of County Down held what was titled a “celebration of LGBTQ inclusion”.

It took place in St Gall’s Parish Church, Carnalea, on the Crawfordsburn Road in Bangor.

This wicked event, which celebrated rebellion against God while claiming to be of God, took place on 28 January.

It would appear that the main organiser of this particular event was a Mary Gilfillan, who unscripturally holds office within the church (1 Timothy 2:12).

She is a member of the Select Vestry which runs the church, holding the role of People’s Churchwarden.

In an article about the event she has written for the church’s website, she outlines the various nonsense activities going on, including bringing in a storyteller and an artist, while screening a video about a woman who apparently chose her “LGBTQ daughter over the evangelical church”.

At the top of the article, this Mary Gilfillan states that in September 2019 “our Select Vestry decided to take up an invitation to register with Changing Attitude Ireland”.

For those who haven’t heard of Changing Attitude Ireland, it is a pro-LGBTQ organisation within the Church of Ireland.

This event was their celebration of taking up this membership.

Every single member of the Select Vestry of St Gall’s Church of Ireland, Carnalea, ought to be ashamed of themselves.

The membership is made up of minister, Canon Michael Parker (pictured, above), Christopher Houston, the aforementioned Mary Gilfillan, Brian Waters, William Tennis, Desi Sykes, Noel McKeown, Derrick Conn, Pauline Smyth, Lynne Davison, James Hanna, Gary Ballentine, Janis Dunn, Jim Noble, Bertie Thompson and Angie Orr.

These people and their organisation’s attitude may be changing, but God’s Word is not.

Hebrews 13:8 reminds us of this as it says: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

St Gall’s Carnalea certainly is showing some gall to be seeking to overturn God’s Word and is most certainly acting very carnally.

Of course, a pro-sodomy event in a church would not be quite the same were it not attended by Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), who seems desperate to make himself the patron saint of the sodomite movement.

Accompanied by members of the Mid Ulster Pride group, of which he is the vice-chairman, he was in the midst of it and very excited to share photos of this abominable event online, as you can see, below.

While true saints of God will rightly grieve over such an event taking place, let us take comfort from the knowledge that God is not mocked.

And let us also take comfort from the fact that God can and does overturn the wisdom of men.

1 Corinthians 1:19-20 says: “For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?”

Even though the sodomite movement appears to be in the ascendancy at present and is certainly gaining ground within what passes for professing Christendom in many places today, we know that God remains sovereign over all things.

We also know that God is able to save the souls of any who attended or supported this horrendous event.

Salvation is available to those who identify themselves under the LGBTQ umbrella if they but repent of their sins and turn their back on the wicked lifestyle they have chosen to lead.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

God has saved the “effeminate” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” and He can do it again.

Let us pray that God will move mightily in Ulster once again, put to flight the enemies of the gospel and wondrously save many thousands of people in our land.

Presbyterian ministers to address blasphemous ‘Blessed are the Queer’ conference

Isaiah 5:20: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

The march to bring greater acceptance of the ungodly LGBT movement within the church continues at pace and the latest high profile event scheduled to continue this anti-Christian process is a conference scheduled for this April entitled ‘Blessed are the Queer’.

Rather fittingly, it will take place on 1st April – April Fool’s Day – for it is only a fool who would try to claim that an appropriate addition to the Beatitudes would be an endorsement of that which God has condemned as an “abomination”.

Regular readers of ‘Protestant Revival’ will be unsurprised to know that a leading figure behind this outrageous event is Rev Andrew Rawding, a hitherto unknown Church of Ireland minister in County Tyrone who has decided to make a name for himself by throwing himself headlong into supporting the sodomite movement.

He is the vice-chair of the recently formed LGBT group Mid Ulster Pride and spent much of last summer marching in so-called Pride parades while carrying a banner pompously ‘apologising’ to the LGBT ‘community’ for how the church has allegedly ‘mistreated’ them.

And at the launch of Mid Ulster Pride last week, Rev Andrew Rawding announced the Blessed are the Queer conference.

Among the speakers are representatives of LGBT groups, unsurprisingly, but there are two very interesting other names on the list of speakers.

They are Presbyterian ministers Rev Laurence Kirkpatrick (until recently) and ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban (pictured, below).

Rev Laurence Kirkpatrick (pictured, top) was a professor at Union Theological College, the training ground of the Presbyterian Church, who was removed from his position by the church when he spoke out against moves made by the church to bar communicant membership to those involved in same-sex relationships and forbid the baptism of children in the care of same-sex partners.

Of course, these are proper decisions which ought not to have been opposed by any true child of God, indeed, the Presbyterian Church is still falling well short of the standards it ought to be setting.

But it was all too much for Rev Laurence Kirkpatrick, who went on BBC Radio Ulster’s Talkback programme to say that he would be horrified if a student at the college was taught that a same-sex, sexually active relationship was sinful.

Imagine that, a professor charged with helping to train up the ministers who will be the future of the denomination says he would be horrified if students were told that something God says is sinful was sinful.

It is hard to think of a more fitting application of Matthew 15:14 than this. That verse says “… they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

Another ‘minister’ determined to drag as many into the ditch with them as possible is ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban.

Apart from the obvious reason why she is not an appropriate spiritual leader (1 Timothy 2:10-12 gives all the guidance we need), ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban is a devoted ecumenist and appears to demonstrate a less than Biblically faithful view of homosexuality.

She is an advocate of the ecumenical quasi-political, quasi-religious self-important annual talking shop in Belfast known as the Four Corners Festival, and last year she was one of a number of clerics who shamefully preached at the Novena at the Romanist Clonard Monastery in west Belfast. She is pictured, below, speaking at that dreadful event in a hub of Romanist deceit.

And at last year’s Presbyterian General Assembly she joined with the “LGBT Christian” endorsing Rev John Dickinson in reaffirming her opposition to the moves by the Presbyterian Church which had so vexed Rev Laurence Kirkpatrick.

The weakness of the Presbyterian Church was demonstrated as it has raised no opposition to any of her Bible-defying antics.

And, when questioned on ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban’s involvement with the Blessed are the Queer conference, the Presbyterian Church took its typical approach of deflection and using weasel words as they did their best impression of Pontius Pilate in full handwashing mode.

They said: “As a church we continue to affirm that all people are loved, valued and cherished by God. To love someone in Christ does not mean you have to agree with their lifestyle, or point of view.

“For example, PCI’s (Presbyterian Church in Ireland) biblically faithful position that marriage is between one man and one woman, is well known.

“With little knowledge of the event, the format, or topics that the speakers will be addressing, it would be difficult to comment further. Dr Kirkpatrick is no longer a minister in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and no longer holds a professorial chair at Union Theological College.

“We would assume that Rev Cheryl Meban, who is one of our ministers, will be speaking in a personal capacity.”

What shameful equivocation!

‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban is speaking precisely because of her role as a Presbyterian ‘minister’. Were she an ordinary person on the street she wouldn’t be invited to speak, it is because she is ordained to the role she is that she will be addressing attendees at this appalling event.

Whatever her specific views are, and certainly her very attendance (and past record) at an event with such a clearly partisan title casts a great deal of doubt over how Scriptural her views will be, the Presbyterian Church cannot but be linked to the views of one of its ordained ‘ministers’, particularly on such a fundamental matter of faith.

Is Rev Andrew Rawding, who appears to be trying to position himself as the clerical LGBT champion of Northern Ireland, going to invite someone to his event which seeks to endorse a lifestyle opposed to God’s Word who thinks homosexuality is wrong? It is highly unlikely.

This is but more sad evidence of the utter apostasy of the Presbyterian Church that one of its ministers can speak at such an event without attracting even a hint of public criticism.

It should be abundantly clear to any child of God that this is a wicked event and the only thing any minister should be doing in relation to it is protesting against it.

Yet this is emphatically not the case with Presbyterian clergy and the leadership is busy washing its hands of its duty in the circumstances.

Northern Ireland is being bombarded with the agents of the sodomite agenda and all who profess Christ have to make it very clear if they are on the side of the world, and therefore the god of this world, the devil, or if they are on the Lord’s side.

Which side will it be for you, dear reader?

Exodus 32:26: “Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp and said, Who is on the Lord’s side?”

Joshua 24:15: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Rev Andrew Rawding leads celebrations as sodomite ‘Mid Ulster Pride’ group is launched

Daniel 4:37: “…those that walk in pride he is able to abase.”

The wicked and shameful descent of Church of Ireland minister Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top) was further deepened on Thursday night, 16 January as he led celebrations marking the launch of the Mid Ulster Pride sodomite grouping.

Deputy Chairman of the Mid Ulster Pride group, he will be one of the chief organisers of the pro-sodomy ‘Pride’ parade which these rebels against God plan to hold in Cookstown, County Tyrone on Saturday, 13 June.

We would urge all Christians to pray with sincerity and faith that God would intervene in the coming months to put their plans awry and cause this event never to take place. If we but have faith as a grain of mustard seed, Jesus Himself tells us, this WILL be done.

Matthew 17:20: “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

We asked a few months ago what the Church of Ireland was going to do about Rev Andrew Rawding marching in not one, not two, but three sodomite ‘Pride’ parades over the summer of 2019, in Belfast, Londonderry and Newry.

The sickening and deplorable response which was revealed was that they were going to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Not a thing – the Church of Ireland was happy to stand by and let this Christ-denying, Bible-rejecting heretic engage in promoting and supporting those involved in the unspeakably sinful lifestyle associated with the sodomite movement.

If any professing Christian doesn’t think this is a motivator to total and utter separation from the Church of Ireland in every single conceivable way, then we really would be concerned about you.

Amidst the sickening scenes being paraded online of the despicable launch event in the Royal Hotel in Cookstown on Thursday night (and you can see Rev Andrew Rawding wearing a ‘Pride’ scarf in this picture from the event, below), there was certainly some comfort to be gained from what was happening outside.

A sizeable band of protesters gathered outside the Royal Hotel, indeed it appeared to be a larger number than those who attended this despicable event.

A letter had been published in the NewsLetter earlier in the week signed by five Free Presbyterian ministers urging for a protest, each of whom deserve the utmost praise for taking their stand against what is very much the in vogue sin of the age, an issue right at the coalface of the Christian battle today.

We understand a number of different groups gathered to hold the protest, not just Free Presbyterians, and we commend every single person in attendance for spending what was a cold and wet night outside the camp, bearing reproach for our Saviour.

The camp, of course, the worldly venue was the Royal Hotel, and we would urge everyone reading this, whether they live in that Mid Ulster area or are ever in that area passing through, to studiously avoid giving them any custom.

Indeed, on the Mid Ulster Pride facebook page, one can see a series of posts if they scroll back just a brief amount featuring various businesses offering sponsorship and prizes for a raffle held at the launch event to this ungodly grouping.

One of these is the Royal Hotel and the list also features a number of salons, a butcher, a tattoo parlour (not that any Christian should be in the latter in any event) and others. We would encourage all readers to acquaint themselves with the list and make sure they do not fund businesses openly supporting sodomy where at all possible.

On the subject of facebook, a number of individuals saw fit to mock the protesters, prompting a chorus of their pals and cohorts to join in with the mockery and vile, vulgar, filthy abuse.

Clearly the irony of their ‘love everyone’ message not extending to Christians is utterly lost on them.

A great many of the comments, claiming that the protesters were all elderly, which was far from the case, going by photographs of the event, stated that they looked forward to those speaking out for Christ dying. Very loving indeed!

Indeed, one went so far as to say that she would like to “give them all ‘meet baby Jesus’ tablets now”.

Again, very loving indeed of these wonderfully tolerant, open minded people. One can only imagine the hysterical response if a Christian had said something a tenth as violent or offensive as that.

We will remind everyone reading this that the Bible is utterly clear on the matter of homosexuality.

It would appear that Rev Andrew Rawding’s conscience is seared with a hot iron, but for anyone else seeing this who supports such rebellion against God, we hope and pray these words will cause you to see this wicked sin for what it is.

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:24-27: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

Jude 1:7: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

This is but a brief snapshot of the, contrary to the claims of the pro-sodomy movement, NUMEROUS examples of God’s Word outright, categorically, unequivocally condemning same-sex relationships.

It is dishonest or Biblically illiterate to try to claim otherwise.

Rev Andrew Rawding has previously been quoted stating that he had, at a time, considered homosexuality to be wrong, but has changed his mind. God’s Word hasn’t changed though!

Deep down, of course, he knows it is wrong but has allowed himself to believe his own lie and is as those in Romans 1:32 who “have pleasure in them” who commit such grave sins.

That verse says: “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

He is cheering on those who are engaged in a lifestyle utterly contrary to God’s Word and will.

Rev Andrew Rawding ought to be doing the exact opposite, imploring them to turn from their sin.

What a fearful judgement awaits all who fail to warn the wicked from their way.

Ezekiel 3:18: “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”

There are those who try to claim that Christians who speak out against sodomy are guilty of thinking themselves better than those who support or partake in that lifestyle.

This is categorically not the case.

It is out of a deep love for God’s truth and the souls of all men that we speak out, for we do not wish to see any perish in a lost eternity in hell.

Man is God’s creation, but his sin is not God’s handiwork, salvation is available to any who call upon Christ for it and He is quick to save us if we but seek after Him, as Paul told the Athenians.

Acts 17:26-28 says: “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”

We owe our breath to God and it is our responsibility to use our fleeting time on this earth to His honour and glory, not to dedicate our time to open defiance of Him.

God has already determined “the bounds of (our) habitation”, He knows how long He will choose to let us live.

People die young and in unexpected circumstances all the time, or are cut off even at bigger ages when it appears all is well with regards their health.

We do not know what lies ahead, we cannot be sure of tomorrow.

Turn from your sin, turn from your lifestyle of rebellion against God, turn to Christ for salvation, seek Him with all of your heart and ask for forgiveness, and He will save you.

Jeremiah 29:13: “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

1 John 1:9-10: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

For the believer, we would urge you once more to pray all the more earnestly for our land.

Let us pray that God would indeed, in wrath remember mercy and that God would be pleased to visit us again with an outpouring of His Spirit in a Holy Ghost revival, and let us pray against this planned LGBT ‘Pride’ event in Cookstown and indeed all such planned events in our country.

Let us have that faith that would move mountains.

Pro-LGBT event in Enniskillen Church of Ireland cathedral

2 Timothy 3:13: “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

The LGBT influence in the professing church is continuing to gain ground.

One need only look at the recent deplorable situation where a man who had entered a sodomite ‘marriage’, who also happened to be a Presbyterian elder in a church in the Republic of Ireland, was thrown out of the eldership and the consternation this met with from numerous figures in the Presbyterian Church.

Indeed, virtually every day the Belfast Telegraph is replete with letters from some professing Christian or another who is most irate a man whose lifestyle choice is described by God as an “abomination” was ejected from leadership in the church.

It is ironic they have been so critical and, gasp, judgmental about individuals making this decision, when they preach a gospel of “judge not” to any who condemn homosexuality for what it is – sin.

Many have raised criticisms over the process by which the matter was handled, though this is something we are not especially concerned with, asides from the question as to why it took so long to remove Steven Smyrl from the eldership (apparently around six months from the ‘marriage’)?

Also concerning is the fact that he was apparently known to be a homosexual before his ‘marriage’, certainly by his congregation, as he had been in a same-sex relationship for 20 years and obtained a civil partnership in 2011.

Regardless, it is emblematic of the growing acceptance of sodomy within the church that such a circumstance has occurred.

And further evidence of the increasing prevalence of spokespeople for the sodomite movement in the church came on Monday night this week, when the LGBT organisation JustLOVE held what was described as an “LGBT affirming faith event” at St Macartin’s Hall in Enniskillen.

This is the church hall owned by the Church of Ireland’s St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen.

The driving force behind this JustLOVE event was none other than sodomite ‘Pride’ parading Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), who will tonight (Thursday) host in his rectory a meeting of a new LGBT group, Mid Ulster Pride.

We had been made aware of this meeting in Enniskillen prior to its taking place but knew few further details of it.

That was until we received a screenshot of the report placed by Rev Andrew Rawding on his Facebook page and we discovered the event was even more troubling than we had previously feared.

Indeed, the details of Rev Andrew Rawding’s post should be of grave concern to any Bible-believing Christian.

Not only was Rev Andrew Rawding the one behind this event, but he tells of an ordained Methodist minister in County Fermanagh called Rev Steven Foster who spoke of how he is a “gay man” and who called for churches to “provide liturgy which affirms queer people”.

It was also revealed that the Church of Ireland’s Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit (sorry, Right Reverend) John McDowell, closed “with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters”.

This is the text of the post from Rev Andrew Rawding.

It says: “Another amazing and informative JustLOVE evening with Jo McParland of Cara Friend in St Macartin’s Cathedral Hall.

“In particular we need to show so much more unconditional love and acceptance to our transgender brothers and sisters.

“Thanks to Rev Steven Foster (Methodist Church Ireland) for his honesty, talking about praying a ‘suicide prayer’ as he struggled with isolation and loneliness as a gay man in the church.

“Steven challenged and encouraged churches to love (over legalism), listen, learn, be careful about language, show leadership and provide liturgy which affirms queer (LGBTQ+) people.

“Great to have Bishop John McDowell close with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters and asking forgiveness for those times when we have not been loving.”

And, as you can see from the top of the screenshot which we have reproduced, below, Rev Andrew Rawding also ‘tagged’ Kenny Hall in his post, saying he had been with him at the event.

Kenny Hall, or Rev Kenneth Hall, is the Dean of the Clogher diocese and rector of St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen.

He is a rampant ecumenist, having previously held a service in his church in honour of a Romanist Jesuit who is en route to being ‘sainted’ by the Roman Catholic Church, as well as having vowed in a sermon at his church to continue to work “tirelessly and endlessly” with Romish priests in his pursuit of unity.

That is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his ecumenical compromise with the devilish deceits of Rome, but now he has added compromise with the utterly ungodly LGBT movement to his God-defying CV.

It would appear he was in attendance given the fact he was ‘tagged’ by Rev Andrew Rawding (otherwise that was mischief making on his part) but certainly he didn’t stand in the way of such an event taking place on his church’s property.

Indeed, reading back through the article we penned last spring detailing Dean Kenneth Hall (pictured, above) renewing his ecumenical vows, as it were, he points out that he was a minister in Coalisland and Stewartstown, exactly where Rev Andrew Rawding is currently a minister.

How neat and tidy is that?

The group Cara Friend referred to in the post by Rev Andrew Rawding is an LGBT support group, while Rev Steven Foster was, until recently, minister of Irvinestown and Pettigo Methodist Churches in Counties Fermanagh and Donegal respectively. He took up a post in Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland a few months ago.

As referred to above, he is a homosexual acting as a minister and has called on churches to “provide liturgy which affirms queer (LGBTQ+) people”.

What a sorry situation this is and what a damning indictment of the state of the Methodist Church in Ireland today.

Right Eejit John McDowell (pictured, below) was also along to sow his seeds of compromise.

Like Dean Kenneth Hall, he is a rampant ecumenist and has now added caving in to the LGBT agenda to his list of God-defiance as well.

Last year on Remembrance Sunday, Right Eejit John McDowell disgracefully preached from the Apocrypha in the supposedly Protestant St Macartin’s Cathedral, while he was also a guest of honour alongside the former Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher, Joseph Duffy, a man found to have “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”, at a Church of Ireland service in County Monaghan.

So it is perhaps not surprising to see this continued degeneration – one compromise tends to lead to another.

And yet in all this there is still cause for the believer to marvel at the gracious mercy of our Heavenly Father.

These individuals have obtained positions of seniority and respect, and little doubt they are at least financially comfortable, and this is a sign of God’s patience with those who disobey Him, as He bears their sin for a long time, giving them the chance to see the error of their way and come to Him in repentance.

Such mercy is referred to in Isaiah 26:10-11, which says: “Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.”

However, as we can see, it will be reckoned with at last, and we can also rejoice in God’s justice while praying that He will not need to bring down His judgment on those who disobey Him and that instead there will be repentance.

The issue of sodomy is one which is really crystal clear to any who takes even a slightly honest or scarcely cursory view of Scripture, yet so many are deceiving and being deceived in this sinful day.

Numerous Bible passages deal with the issue.

These include, but are certainly not limited to:

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:26-27: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

That is certainly not to say we are not to look upon those who fall under the man-made classification of LGBT with concern for their souls or care for their spiritual wellbeing, but we cannot wink at sin, we cannot sit idly by and let sin be endorsed and praised as noble, brave, honest or admirable.

We live in days as those spoken of in Isaiah 5:20, which says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

However, let us not be silent or reluctant in still declaring that which is evil still to be evil and that which is bitter still to be bitter.

Let us not sacrifice the goodness of God’s Word to protect the temporary feelings of the unconverted.

Psalm 119:103-104: “How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.”

New sodomite ‘Pride’ group meeting in Church of Ireland minister’s house

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

The great cause of the increasingly godless society in which we live is that of the sodomite agenda and the sodomite’s so-called rights.

It is bad enough and sad enough that much of civic society has first cowered before the sodomite steamroller trying to crush all dissent in its path before then jumping on board the steamroller, but when the professing church does this then it truly is despicable.

Yet that is emphatically what is going on in County Tyrone as Church of Ireland minister Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top) has leaped head first into the pro-sodomy movement.

We previously highlighted on this page the fact that Rev Andrew Rawding had arrogantly taken it upon himself to “apologise” to the sodomite movement movement for the church’s alleged mistreatment of those who choose to live their lives in open defiance of God’s Word. When he will apologise to God for his betrayal of His Word is another matter.

Not only that, Rev Andrew Rawding joined in on three sodomite ‘Pride’ parades over the summer, in the cities of Belfast, Londonderry and Newry.

And, worse still, the Church of Ireland, in a despicable, Pontius Pilate-esque act of washing their hands, pathetically stated that official church teaching is that marriage is between one man and one woman but any minister who disagrees with this fundamental Biblical tenet “may continue to hold their point of view”.

How risible is that stance? Does the Word of God mean so little to the Church of Ireland generally and the Diocese of Armagh specifically that they should refuse to take any action against a minister who is acting so openly contrarily to what the Bible teaches?

Secure in the knowledge that he will not be reprimanded in the slightest by the church, Rev Andrew Rawding is further bringing shame and disgrace to the Church of Ireland by hosting a meeting of a recently formed sodomite group in his area.

Mid Ulster Pride has formed in recent months and appears to be based in the Coalisland area, where Rev Andrew Rawding is a minister.

Rev Andrew Rawding has the charge over three churches in that general area, Holy Trinity Church, Brackaville, St Patrick’s Church, Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Church, Donaghendry. It would appear the first of those three is based in Coalisland.

And a post on the Mid Ulster Pride facebook page by one of its members states: “I have been made aware of a new LGBTQ community based in Coalisland for the Mid Ulster LGBTQ community aiming to find support and equality.

“The next meeting is on 28th November in Rev Andrew’s house in the rectory in Coalisland at 7.30pm.”

So there you have it, a Church of Ireland rectory is being used as the base for a sodomite ‘Pride’ grouping.

What an absolutely outrageous situation this is.

What will the Church of Ireland do about it? Will they wring their hands and wash their hands once more? Or will they take swift action to stamp out such wretched abuse of their property and such rank apostasy from one of their ministers?

We would hazard a guess that it will most certainly not be the latter.

Such is Rev Andrew Rawding’s giving over of himself to promoting and supporting that which God has called an “abomination” and “unnatural” that he is providing a base for a sodomite group and, indeed his facebook page profile picture is currently the Mid Ulster Pride logo (pictured, below).

He is doing all that he can to promote something which God has pronounced His curse on.

One need only look at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah to see just how gravely God looks upon sodomy.

God said their “sin is very grievous” in Genesis 18:20, while Genesis 13:13 says “the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly”.

God considers such wickedness to be “exceedingly” sinful.

Jude 1:7 further demonstrates for us how God’s wrath fell because of their sexual sins, notably their “going after strange flesh”, ie sodomy.

That verse says: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

To disregard the clear commands of Scripture in this regard is frankly blasphemous.

Rev Andrew Rawding’s job as a minister is to guide the sheep and point them to the way of salvation, which is through Jesus Christ alone.

Instead, he is leading any under his charge into sin by his voluble support for sodomite marriage.

Rev Andrew Rawding cannot possibly be teaching his three congregations (allowing him to do triple the damage!) the truth of God’s Word when he is, as those who practised and supported sodomy in Romans 1, “chang[ing] the truth of God into a lie”.

Rev Andrew Rawding is putting “bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).

A preacher leading others into error is a most grave thing.

Ezekiel 3:17-19 says: “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

We are told in 1 Corinthians 6 that, among several other sins, the “effeminate” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

However, we are then told that some of the converts of the church in Corinth had been such sinners, but they were now washed, sanctified and justified “in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”.

There is salvation available for the homosexual, we are told in 2 Peter 3:9 that God is “longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”.

We know that it is not God’s desire for any to go to hell, but, because He is also a God of justice and will not look upon sin, He will not permit sinners, including the “effeminate” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” to enter the kingdom of heaven.

However, Rev Andrew Rawding is refusing to preach this, in fact he is creating his own, opposite gospel message.

It could rightly be said to Rev Andrew Rawding that “thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life”.

There are two grievous consequences of this.

Firstly, “the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity” and, secondly, “his blood will I require at thine hand”.

There is a sobering thought.

Rev Andrew Rawding may think he is being so loving and gracious, open and tolerant, even Christian, but he is encouraging sodomites on in their sin and condemning them to the fate of dying in their iniquity.

On top of this, he is guilty of the blood of that same sodomite whom he refused to warn, but rather affirmed him in his sin.

Dear reader and, if there is any with any kind of homosexual desires reading this, do not listen to the likes of Rev Andrew Rawding.

They may make you feel better now and pat you on the back, but they are ripening you for a lost eternity in that awful place called hell.

Instead, turn to Christ, He can transform you by the “renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2), he replaces our old desires with new desires, He changes our whole outlook on life and His blood cleanses us from all sin.

Won’t you call on this wonderful Saviour even today? We are told in Acts 16:31 that “whosoever calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”.

If you are saved and reading this, won’t you please share this article widely to help warn as many as possible against the shameful ministry of Rev Andrew Rawding?

Also, we would encourage as many as possible to contact the Diocese of Armagh and the Church of Ireland to ask them what their view is on Rev Andrew Rawding hosting a sodomite ‘Pride’ meeting in the rectory, a property owned by the church?

Do they endorse such use of their property to promote that which the church proclaims to be opposed to?

Or will they sit on their hands and let Rev Andrew Rawding continue to defy God and His Word and bring shame down upon their church?

May even someone in the hierarchy of the Church of Ireland speak out against it and take a stand for Christ to oppose such outrageous apostasy.

Will the Church of Ireland face the same condemnation as Judah?

Ezekiel 22:30: “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

Rev David McClay – another Romish compromiser made Church of Ireland bishop

Malachi 2:7-8: “For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.”

There has been a high turnover of bishops in the Church of Ireland for one reason or another of late, all of them enthusiastic compromisers with Rome.

Bishop Ken (No) Good retired as Bishop of Derry and Raphoe having long been the best bud of Romanist Bishop of Derry Donal McKeown. He was replaced by Rev Andrew Forster, one of the most senior clergymen in the Diocese of Armagh at the time when it failed to take any action against one of its ministers, Rev Andrew Rawding, for marching in three different sodomite ‘Pride’ parades.

Bishop Alan Abernethy retired as Bishop of Connor (due to ill health, sadly) who is a member of the Central Committee of the obviously ecumenical World Council of Churches and chair of the Board of the ungodly St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast. No appointment has yet been made to replace him.

Archbishop Richard Clarke, a man so given over to betrayal of the gospel by mingling with pagan Romanism that he has rightly earned the title of Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke, has announced his impending retirement. As with Bishop Alan Abernethy, no replacement has yet been named.

And Bishop Harold Miller, described at his retirement by Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke as an “unswerving ecumenist” has called it a day as Bishop of Down and Dromore.

It is his replacement who is the subject of this article though – Rev David McClay (pictured, top), rector of the charismatic fellowship in east Belfast, Willowfield Parish Church.

Like his predecessor Bishop Harold Miller, he has rather creatively managed to carve out a reputation for himself as an ‘evangelical’, a term much abused these days.

It appears to be applied to churchmen in ecumenical denominations who are not total heretics in every respect.

Like Bishop Harold Miller, soon to be Bishop David McClay (he currently occupies the senior role of Archdeacon), he is opposed to murdering babies (also known euphemistically as abortion) and sodomite marriage.

However, that most certainly does not make one an evangelical.

We are given an idea of what makes a good evangelist by the Apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of God in 2 Timothy 4:2-5, which says: “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

An evangelist is to preach the word regardless of the prevailing culture around them and are to rebuke and exhort, two words which are greeted with howls of “judge not” by the modern easy-believist, charismatic.

But churches like Willowfield Parish Church are exactly the type of places where those with itching ears choose to attend, with its heady mix of exclusively positive, affirming messages, dimmed lights, cups of coffee and ‘Christian’ rock music.

Rev David McClay is the organiser of the ecumenical New Wine conference, held in Sligo every year.

Each year Romanists are part of the line-up offering spiritual guidance to those in attendance.

This year one of the people brought in and recommended as being an example to be followed by those in attendance was Paddy Monaghan of the Evangelical Catholic Initiative, a man who is also a self-professed member of the Legion of Mary.

That should cause any even semi-discerning Christian tremendous concern.

We previously highlighted this situation in December last year and this is what we wrote in relation to Paddy Monaghan and his membership of a Mary exalting organisation:

“In an article entitled ‘Adventures in Reconciliation’ (a true ecumenical watchword) on the ‘Catholic Ireland’ website, Paddy Monaghan shares some of his life story.

“Speaking of his university days, he says: “I joined a Catholic lay organisation called the Legion of Mary, whose members engaged in various forms of charitable work.”

“So what is the Legion of Mary, you may ask? Here’s what Wikipedia says: ‘Membership is open to those who belong to the Catholic Church and believe in its teaching. Its stated mission is for active members to serve God under the banner of Mary by the corporal and spiritual works of Mercy, as mentioned in Chapter 33 of the Legion of Mary Handbook. The main apostolate of the Legion is activities directed towards Catholics and non-Catholics encouraging them in their faith or inviting them to become Catholic. This is usually done by encouraging them in prayer, attending Mass and learning more about the Catholic faith’.”

“So Paddy Monaghan believes in the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, whose teaching is totally contradictory to the teaching of Protestantism.”

This is crystal clear, Rome denies the precious message of the gospel and instead teaches a false system of salvation by sacramental merit.

Despite this, Rev David McClay was more than happy to have this man along to the conference he organises.

Indeed, he has had Paddy Monaghan along in each of the past two years.

At the 2018 edition of New Wine, there was two further Romanists speaking to the poor souls in attendance.

They were a Fodhla McGrane, who is linked with Clonard Monastery in west Belfast and Romanist Bishop of Elphin, Bishop Kevin Doran.

Rev David McClay is a persistent mingler with Romanism and there is absolutely nothing to suggest the Diocese of Down and Dromore of the Church of Ireland will be any better under his stewardship than it was under Bishop Harold Miller (pictured, below).

We would challenge Rev David McClay, even on the night he is instituted as a bishop, or at any other point, to publicly state that he is steadfastly opposed to the lies of the pagan Roman Catholic Church and will be having absolutely no fellowship with Rome.

We challenge Rev David McClay to stand up and loudly proclaim he will make no peace with Rome until Rome makes peace with God.

Let these words of Jude v 3 be ringing in his ears and proceeding from his lips: “ye should earnestly contend for the faith”.

A sop to sodomy – Church of Ireland minister ‘apologises’ to ungodly LGBT movement at ‘Pride’

As madness continues to descend over the professing church, it can be of little surprise to see yet another supposed preacher of God’s infallible truth show his support for the sodomite cause.

Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), the rector of a grouped parish consisting of Holy Trinity Church, Brackaville, St Patrick’s Church, Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Church, Donaghendry, which appears to be located in the Coalisland and Stewartstown areas of County Tyrone, held up a banner at the Belfast ‘Pride’ parade saying: “We are sorry for how the church mistreated LGBTQ+ people”.

The banner is pictured below.

This is a truly shameful additional factor within the context of a wretched day for Belfast and indeed all of Northern Ireland.

For a supposed minister of the gospel to express regret that the church in bygone days held a Scriptural view in relation to sodomy is a disgraceful thing.

Though we have on many occasions stressed the Scriptural position on these matters, we will do so again.

Leviticus 18:22 says: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:24-27 says: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

This is but a few of the numerous (contrary to the lies of the Bible-deniers) passages which clearly prohibit and condemn same-sex relationships.

However, Rev Andrew Rawding clearly knows better than God as he walked under the ‘Christians at Pride’ banner, a group which says its aim is to “celebrate God-given diversity”.

God does not create sin, corrupt man does.

Let us see the foundational principle of this world.

Genesis 1:27-28, 31: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

God “blessed” men and women and told them to “be fruitful and multiply”. Two people of the same gender simply cannot be fruitful and multiply.

Jesus in Matthew 19 reiterated the creation principle of one man and one woman in a relationship together.

Matthew 19:4-5 says: “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?”

The likes of Rev Andrew Rawding would love us to think Jesus made no comment in relation to same-sex relationships, which bizarrely is taken to mean he would be in favour of them. Jesus, to the best of our knowledge, never specifically mentioned bestiality. Does that mean He was in favour of it or at least indifferent to it? The very thought is repugnant.

Jesus, of course, clearly here outlines the natural God-ordained order which so many alleged Christians and others are trying to distort and destroy.

Rev Andrew Rawding may be choosing to say sorry to those who live in open defiance of God’s Word, but he would be far better repenting of this sinful decision and saying sorry to God.

This is, sadly, a case of choosing to please men rather than God.

His attitude stands in stark contrast to that of the Apostles.

Acts 5:27-29 says: “And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Speaking in relation to his ungodly actions, Rev Andrew Rawding said: “From a pastoral point of view with responsibility to be sharing positive messages of God’s love for everyone, I really feel very, very strongly that I need to stand up and make a stand as a clergy person,” he said.

Rev Andrew Rawding has no “responsibility to be sharing positive message of God’s love for everyone”, he has a responsibility to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

That gospel is of the saving power of Jesus Christ freely offered and available through the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary, which we can have simply by placing our faith in Christ alone and repenting of our sins.

Any minister who fails to do that is not worthy of the role he is occupying.

Ezekiel 33:2-6: “Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

There will be blood on the hands of any minister who fails to proclaim the truth of the Bible and instead spread their own notions and fancies as if they were the gospel.

What a fearsome day of reckoning is coming for all such ministers and the poor, deluded souls they are leading to hell.

Dear reader, please do not allow some Bible-rejecting minister to usher you down the path to destruction, but rather won’t you turn to Jesus for salvation?

With all this talk of ‘Pride’ being so prevalent at this time, let us not glory in sin or debauchery, but rather let us rejoice and glory in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and make Him our cause for celebration.

Galatians 6:14: “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”

Church of Ireland statement – ministers are free to march in LGBT ‘Pride’ parades

Just three days ago, we put the question to the Church of Ireland – were they going to take any type of a stand against one of its ministers, Rev Andrew Rawding’s (pictured, top) disgraceful conduct in taking it upon himself to “apologise” to the LGBT community for how the church had “mistreated” them?

Well, it didn’t take long for an answer to come along, albeit indirectly.

In an article featured in the Belfast Newsletter, the Church of Ireland stated that the like of Rev Andrew Rawding “may continue to hold their point of view”.

Yes, you have read that correctly.

The Rev Andrew Rawding has the Church of Ireland’s blessing to continue marching in sodomite ‘Pride’ parades, the latest of which he took part in was in Newry, County Armagh today (Saturday).

This followed on from him marching in the sodomite ‘Pride’ parades in Belfast and Londonderry.

This is what the Newsletter article said: “A spokesman for the Church of Ireland said that a church Synod resolution on human sexuality in 2012 affirmed that marriage is “a holy mystery in which one man and one woman become one flesh”. The resolution also opposed “bigotry, hurtful words or actions and demeaning or damaging language” in relation to sexuality.

“The spokesman said that church teaching is agreed in a “democratic” process; Many clergy and laity disagree with church teaching “and may continue to hold their point of view, but it will not be the official position of the Church”.”

So there you have it, the Church of Ireland’s ministers are free to march in LGBT ‘Pride’ parades with no fear of any censures or reprisals.

What a shocking, shameful and outrageous example for the Church of Ireland to set.

This is a clear abandonment of any efforts in the Church of Ireland to deal with sin, which is the central point of the gospel.

We cannot be forgiven if we do not repent of our sin.

We cannot receive a place in heaven if we do not repent of our sin.

When the church fails to take a clear stand against sin, it places an obstacle in the way of people being forgiven of their sin.

That is repugnant.

It really is shocking that the Church of Ireland can sit by idly and say there is no problem with Rev Andrew Rawding loudly and proudly rejecting his own church’s official teaching and, far more importantly, the Bible’s teaching on which relationships are permissible in the eyes of God.

What exactly is the point of a church having clergy who disagree with church teaching?

Why don’t they find a church which they do agree with?

Of course, many of these individuals are agitators trying to force change from within the Church of Ireland to get the church to the point where same-sex ‘marriage’ and all other forms of perversion are accepted in the church.

And the pathetic inaction of those in charge of the church is allowing this to happen.

Some will, no doubt, say, as do many Presbyterians looking to make sodomy acceptable in their church, that this is evidence of a “broad church” type of Christianity.

Let us remind them that narrow is the way that leads to salvation.

Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

It is not a great sign of tolerance or, as some would even more fallaciously try to claim, a sign of Christianity, to laud some sort of “broad church” approach.

God has set certain standards and parameters to which we are to abide.

His Son, Jesus Christ, says in the passage above that “narrow is the way” which leads to life eternal while the broad way leads to “destruction”.

And that is exactly where the road Rev Andrew Rawding is ushering people down leads.

And, by flatly refusing to step in and address his shameful shepherding of the flocks over which he has authority (Holy Trinity Brackaville, St Patrick’s Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Donaghendry), the Church of Ireland is equally guilty.

The following verses in that same chapter are also very relevant in this context of churches failing to fulfil their mission of imploring people to repent and believe the gospel.

Matthew 7:15-20: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

The fruit being brought forth by Rev Andrew Rawding is of the most rotten variety.

He is encouraging people to continue on in their sin and encouraging others to do the same.

This is something which is strongly condemned by the Saviour.

Matthew 23:13 says: “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”

Preaching that God is accepting of that which He has in fact called an “abomination” very clearly is an example of preventing others from entering into the kingdom of heaven.

This is surely a very clear example of a separation matter for any true child of God within the Church of Ireland.

Dear believer within the Church of Ireland, your leadership has publicly stated that Rev Andrew Rawding, and any other minister who so chooses, is free to show utter contempt for your church’s teaching and the Word of God’s teaching on this most vital of matters.

Is this a situation you consider to be tolerable?

The leadership of the Church of Ireland, which starts with Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke (pictured, below), the Archbishop of Armagh, is disgracefully refusing to take their stand for God.

Will you?

We surely cannot be silent in the face of such wilful apostasy from the Church of Ireland.

Let us all follow the Scriptural call to be separated from the workers of iniquity.

We don’t have to be members of or attendees at the Church of Ireland for this to be applicable to us.

Does our church have any links with this church? Do we attend services in the Church of Ireland? Do we attend social events in the Church of Ireland? Do Church of Ireland ministers ever speak at our church?

There can be no links with a church which refuses to address sin.

How can blessing be found where rebellion against God is present?

God hates sin.

This is a simple yet fundamental Biblical precept.

We can see so many examples of this throughout Scripture.

We can see God expressing his hatred for it in his proclamations against His chosen people.

Hosea 9:15-17 gives a clear example of this.

It says: “All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters. Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.”

If God declares such judgment on His covenant people, how much more wary ought we, as Gentiles, to be faithful to Him.

The Apostle Paul likened us to branches being grafted on to the tree after the branches representing the Jews had been broken off.

Warning the Gentiles in Rome to remain faithful, he said in Romans 11:21: “For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.”

There is a price to be paid for sin. Do we want to associate ourselves with it? Surely our answer will be, as Paul so often wrote, “God forbid”.

Let us separate ourselves in every fashion from the Church of Ireland, who have now officially sanctioned its ministers marching for sodomy and transgenderism.

Let us go outside the camp to be on the Lord’s side.
