Psalm 115:1: “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.”
It is hard to believe we have been operating this page now for two full years.
In that time, we believe the Lord has blessed this witness greatly.
We say that not just because of the incredible reach and number of views we have received, not just because of the many messages of support we have received from godly individuals, not just because it has prompted the wrath of those who hate the gospel or those who do their best to pollute or cheapen it, but because we can feel God guiding and directing us as we take up this (at times) onerous task.
We believe it is of God that this page has came into existence to provide a voice of protest against the ongoing, persistent and deepening apostasy and ecumenical compromise in our land.
There is, sadly, a great dearth of individuals who are willing to speak out volubly and uncompromisingly against the shameful goings-on in so many quarters that pass for clerical conduct and practices.
We are thankful, first and foremost, to God for His help and guidance and presence with us over these past two years.
There have been times when the level of abuse we have received has been difficult to handle, and indeed has sometimes come from surprising sources, from people of whom we had expected better, but God has always been beside us, guiding as we strive to find the words to speak for Him (and oftentimes telling us to hold our tongue).
We also want to thank all those who have shown their support in any way, whether it be by their kind messages, their ‘liking’ and ‘sharing’ of our posts, their notifying us privately of any events or comments they believe ought to be highlighted in an article, or their support in any other way.
What we would ask any individual reading this with a burden for the gospel and for earnestly contending for the faith is that you would please continue to ‘like’ and ‘share’ as regularly as possible on our Facebook page please.
Due to changes in the way Facebook operates in the past nine months or so we have had to work harder to try to get the message out as Facebook seeks to push users into paying to promote their content.
Thankfully this happened only after our page had built up a significant following and has not hurt our views, indeed they have continued to grow despite this, but we are keen to make the most of every avenue by which we can spread the message further and would be very grateful for your continued help in this.
Indeed, we can see in this even God’s hand upon us as he providentially allowed the page to build up a profile before Facebook’s interventions.
And we thank every single individual who has taken the time to read our page, whether they despised or rejected what was written or not. We just trust a seed has been planted in their hearts that may bear fruit in times to come.
We embarked on this page really not knowing what to expect but simply burdened by a desire to highlight and challenge the outrageous apostasy and cheapening of God’s Word in so many quarters today.
Some of those responsible can’t help but try to come back at us, some of them unleash their minions to do it for them (whilst quietly, systematically going through comments abusing us and ‘liking’ them) and some try to pretend they don’t see it.
However, we take tremendous comfort in the vast amount of people who have seen it, something which has frankly amazed us.
There have been views in somewhere in the region of 130 countries and a further 15 to 20 territories.
The bulk of our views are in the UK, USA, Ireland, Canada and Australia, but we have regular numbers of views in Uganda, South Africa, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain, Norway, Sweden, France and Kenya.
We also have sporadic views in the likes of Saudi Arabia, a nation which militantly despises the gospel, Tanzania, India, China, Brazil, Russia and some tiny and far flung places such as Tonga, Fiji, Curačao, Lesotho, Guatemala, American Samoa, Mozambique, Puerto Rico and Haiti.
It is far beyond anything we could have envisaged or hoped for and we thank and praise God He has used this page to reach the ends of the earth with the gospel message and the message of earnest contention for the faith.
Many of our articles have notched up views into the thousands, with our most viewed article having, at present, been viewed more than 6,000 times, which is truly incredible.
What we have discovered is the sad fact that the apostasy in our land is worse than we thought, we have learned of movements and links between churches we didn’t know existed, and we have been perplexed by how few people seem to care.
So few seem to have any interest in what it is to live a sanctified life, so few seem to care that the Roman Catholic Church is ushering untold millions down the road to hell, so few seem to care that the foul charismatic deceits are taking over in so many places.
However, before we start to sound like Elijah at a low ebb and lest any think we are paraphrasing him and saying “we, even we only, are left”, we also are encouraged by the numbers who have supported us.
We have had messages from those prompted to separation by this page, those emboldened to take their stand for Christ and those who are heartened to see a voice raised against the rank apostasy and ecumenical compromise so prevalent in our land.
There is still a remnant in Ulster determined to walk in the old ways.
Indeed, we have seen encouraging signs of late, and while this may be a day of small things, we believe God is beginning to work again in our land.
The voice of protest, so muted in Ulster in recent years, is beginning to be raised again, we are hearing stories of souls being saved (and not by taking a booklet at an SU gathering) and we feel God’s presence more fully than in days past.
Could there be a revival about to sweep this way? Let us pray earnestly to that end, commit ourselves to a holy and sanctified life and do everything we can to spread God’s Word.
Let us declare unashamedly the gospel of Christ, of His shed blood and how salvation can only be received through it.
Jesus saves, His blood cleanses, His Spirit quickens and His mercy endureth forever.
Let us serve Him in spirit and in truth and let us ever yearn to do more for Him and live more faithfully for Him.
Philippians 3:7-10: “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death”.
