Romish compromise rewarded as Right Eejit John McDowell appointed Church of Ireland Archbishop

Malachi 3:15: “And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.”

We have previously commented in other articles how it appears that the more compromised with Rome a clergyman appears to be, the more likely he is to be on course for the top, especially in the Church of Ireland.

So hand in hand is the Church of Ireland with the pagan perversion of true Christianity that is the Church of Rome that it is to be expected devoted ecumenists will be occupying the top roles.

And so it has proven as one promoter of Romish compromise has been replaced with another in the most senior post of the Church of Ireland.

Right Reverend (or Right Eejit) John McDowell (pictured, top), the current Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, has been appointed as the new Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, replacing Most Reverend (or Most Ecumenical) Richard Clarke (pictured, below).

The Rome compromising, Papal pandering, Apocrypha preaching dyed in the wool ecumenist has been rewarded for his clerical career of compromise by being elevated to this loftiest (and no doubt generously remunerated) of roles.

Let’s have a look at Right Eejit John McDowell’s rather inglorious CV.

He is bosom buddies with former Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher Joseph Duffy, a man who was found to have “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse and did not remove suspected paedophile priests from the ministry”.

Despite that being the finding of a report by the Irish National Board for Safeguarding Children as far back as 2010, Right Eejit John McDowell continues to be fast friends with this Romish deceiver.

In April 2018, he was a joint guest of honour with Bishop Joseph Duffy (pictured, below) in a Church of Ireland event in a congregation in County Monaghan.

Then, in June 2018, Right Eejit John McDowell was a guest of honour at the Romanist blasphemy of the mass, a mass held to celebrate 60 years in the priesthood of that same Bishop Joseph Duffy.

Apart from the obvious disregard he showed towards true religion and God by attending such a wretched event as the mass, he was also showing complete disregard to the victims of child abuse in the Clogher diocese who might have been spared such wicked treatment had Bishop Joseph Duffy not “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”.

Surely this alone is enough to preclude Right Eejit John McDowell from being elevated to this role?

Right Eejit John McDowell is also a past President of the Irish Council of Churches and was a signatory to a letter begging “that Antichrist” the Pope to visit Northern Ireland when he made his way to the Republic of Ireland in August 2018.

Right Eejit John McDowell was also in attendance in May 2018 when a service was held in the Church of Ireland in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh to celebrate a Jesuit priest in the process of being ‘sainted’ by the Pope.

Then in that same church, St Macartin’s Cathedral, in November 2018 Right Eejit John McDowell preached from the Apocrypha during a Remebrance Day service.

And the following month, in greeting the appointment of Larry Duffy as the new Romanist Bishop of Clogher, he said he was praying for his success.

All that was just in 2018!

Indeed, he added a deal of variation to his wilful rejection of God’s Word late last year as he was in attendance at a pro-LGBT event in St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen and indeed closed the meeting “with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters”.

So there you have it. This is the man who is now in charge of the Church of Ireland, the second largest allegedly Protestant denomination in Ireland.

Associating with Romanist priests who “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”, taking every opportunity he can to compromise with the evil false religion of Rome and caving into the campaign for the acceptance of sodomy in the church, this is the trail left by Right Eejit John McDowell.

Are you impressed?

Do you believe he ought to be a spiritual leader?

Do you want him to be your spiritual leader?

Do you believe God smiles upon Roght Eejit John McDowell as a very senior and very public proclaimed representative of Him?

We trust the answer to each question is very clear indeed and we trust that, if you are saved, you will “come out from among them and be ye separate” from the Church of Ireland.

If you are as yet unsaved, won’t you place your faith and trust in Christ, the one Who gave Himself on the cross at Calvary that we might be saved.

1 Peter 2:24-25: “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.”

Christ is a Bishop to be much admired and followed after, Right Eejit John McDowell is a bishop to be rejected.

Choose the gospel of Christ, not the false gospel of Right Eejit John McDowell and his ilk.

Every mainstream Protestant church in Ulster offers support to Mary worshipping group

Hebrews 4:14-16: “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

A dreadfully sad event took place in Ulster late last month as a large-scale ecumenical convention took place in our little land, blessed so gloriously in times past by God.

The 38th annual ecumenical meeting of the Focolare Movement took place in Belfast, Larne and other venues across Northern Ireland from 21 to 25 October.

The Focolare Movement is a grouping we have previously mentioned on ‘Protestant Revival’.

We did so in April last year when highlighting the blasphemous Ballycastle Prayer Partnership which operates out of Ballycastle Presbyterian Church, on the north coast of Northern Ireland.

At that time we highlighted how Ballycastle Presbyterian Church had, in 2014, played host to a Service of Prayer for Christian Unity as part of the Focolare Movement’s Mariapolis.

This is how we described it at that time: “The Focolare Movement is a Roman Catholic movement whose chief goals are ‘to cooperate in the consolidation of unity in the Christian world, with individuals and groups, movements and associations; to contribute to full communion with Christians of different churches; and to work towards universal brother / sisterhood of all peoples, regardless of religious beliefs’.

“Pope Francis, speaking in relation to the grouping, has said: “The Work of Mary, that everyone knows as the Focolare Movement…”

“It is another method by which the Roman Catholic Church worships Mary and the Focolare Movement’s Mariapolis is a medium by which this is carried out. Mariapolis means “city of Mary” and wherever the event is held, that place becomes a “city of Mary”.

“Therefore, by celebrating this God defying festival, Ballycastle Presbyterian Church made itself part of the “city of Mary”. What utter blasphemy!”

So now, in late October 2019, we had this same Mary worshipping organisation running an ecumenical conference which was cheered on by EVERY major church in Northern Ireland.

Obviously, the Romanists were supporting it as they are ardent practitioners of Mariolatry.

So, too, was the Church of Ireland as the Most Ecumenical Archbishop Richard Clarke (pictured, above) “paid tribute to this important type of dialogue” with Rome, while his comments were “endorsed by the Rev Brian Anderson, President of the Irish Council of Churches, the Rev Sam McGuffin (pictured, top), President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, and the Very Rev Ivan Patterson, present at the meeting on behalf of the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland”.

So there you have it, this article we have quoted from the Church of Ireland Diocese of Connor confirms that the Church of Ireland, Methodist Church and Presbyterian Church have given their endorsement of ecumenical fellowshipping with a group which exists to exalt Mary.

The Focolare Movement organised ecumenical conference featured 30 bishops from 18 different churches in 14 countries and, during their stay here, “the bishops visited Fitzroy Presbyterian Church, Belfast; the Methodist Skainos Centre at the East Belfast Mission; the Corrymeela Community and toured Belfast city.”

Fitzroy Presbyterian Church is the clerical domain of ardent ecumenist Rev Steve Stockman, co-organiser, along with a Jesuit priest, of the ungodly Four Corners Festival in Belfast each year, and it is no surprise to see him hosting such an event.

The Corrymeela Community is the home of ecumenism in Northern Ireland and is an objectionable organisation, specifically set up to destroy doctrinal difference between traditionally Protestant churches and the false religion of Romanism.

And the Methodist Skainos Centre at the East Belfast Mission is also interesting.

The East Belfast Mission’s Chief Executive, Andrew Irvine (pictured, below) was the speaker at an ecumenical Week of Prayer for Christian Unity service in a Romanist chapel in Lurgan in County Armagh in January.

And the East Belfast Mission’s Skainos Centre was the venue a month later for the visit of a Jesuit priest, a ‘Father’ Gregory Boyle, during the aforementioned Four Corners Festival.

The report on the Diocese of Connor website continues and says: “On the evening of 24 October, the bishops participated at an uplifting Choral Evensong in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast. Immediately afterwards they walked together to the neighbouring Roman Catholic Church of St Patrick, Donegall Street. There, during a moving ecumenical service, a solemn commitment in the light of Jesus’ New Commandment, to love one another’s church and consider each other’s crosses as their own, so that all may be one.”

They really were taking in the tour of the most notorious and noxious religious venues to God, adding in St Anne’s Cathedral, second only to Corrymeela for its wretched rejection of God’s Word in the ecumenical deceit, and then paid a visit to a Romanist chapel for a “moving ecumenical service”.

Ludicrously and, indeed, wilfully changing the Bible to suit their ungodly ends, the report states that these bishops made “a solemn commitment in the light of Jesus’ New Commandment, to love one another’s church”.

Sorry, but where was that in what Jesus said?

These clerical deceivers are clearly distorting and abusing Matthew 22:39, which says: “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

Where does Jesus say to love other people’s churches? Where does He say that we are to love a church which rejects His Word? This is deliberate twisting of the Bible.

Indeed, it is more than twisting, it is downright falsehood.

But upon such lies the ecumenical movement has always been built, for God is truth and their schemes are not built on God.

Speaking of the Holy Spirit, Jesus said in John 16:13: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

God the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth and it is clear those behind and supporting such initiatives are not being led by the Holy Spirit, but rather are teaching for doctrines things which are at variance with God’s Word.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 warns of this. It says: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron”.

These religious leaders have departed from the faith and are speaking their lies in hypocrisy and feel not the slightest hint of guilt about it, as their consciences are seared.

They are giving themselves over to the blasphemies of the Roman Catholic Church and encouraging unity with Rome.

One of the chief blasphemies of Rome is its teaching that we ought to pray to Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus, and this unbiblical exaltation of a saved, yet sinful woman, is a key foundational principal of the Focolare Movement which organised this ecumenical shindig.

There is NO Biblical justification for praying to any other than God.

Indeed, in one of the great prayer meetings of the book of Acts, Mary is recorded as being in attendance. Did any of the 120 or so other attendees address their prayers to Mary? Of course not.

Mary was part of the group addressing their prayers and petitions to God, whom Mary herself called “my Saviour”.

Acts 1:13-14 says: “And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.”

They continued in “one accord”, there was no disharmony, nobody was praying at crossed purposes to different people.

What a blasphemy it is and what a disgrace it is to fellowship with and endorse the ecumenical dialogue being carried out by the Focolare Movement.

Yet this is what Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke, head of the Church of Ireland, has done.

Yet this is what Rev Sam McGuffin (perhaps Rev Sam McBluffin would be better, as he appears to only he purporting to be a minister of the gospel by endorsing such falsehood), head of the Methodist Church in Ireland, has done.

Yet this is what Rev William Henry, head of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, has allowed to be done in his name by one of his denomination’s ministers, Very Rev Ivan Patterson.

Dear reader who may still be caught up in these mainstream churches in Ulster, don’t you see that these men are not putting the service of God first? Rather they are prioritising ecumenical compromise and fellowship with those who blaspheme God and His Word over and above the almighty God of heaven.

Let us be that “peculiar people” as Peter, under the inspiration of God, described it, let us be separated unto Christ.

We are instructed to “go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach” (Hebrews 13:13).

There is no true unity or peace in refusing to separate from churches which have overthrown the Word of God.

Those who deny God and engage in ecumenical sell-out of their glorious Protestant heritage are the schismatics, for they are the ones who are causing the division by dividing themselves from Christ.

Let us then cleave to God rather than to institutions which may well mean much to us, and it is understandable that they may well do.

But let us be so determined to be separated unto Christ that nothing will stop us from cleaving to him.

Paul said in Romans 8:38-39: “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Look at the lengths and the depths of Christ’s love for the believer, do we not owe it to Christ to have a determination to, as much as in us lies, be similarly devoted to Him?

Let us even choose faithfulness to God over familiarity with and fondness to our church, should that be a denomination which has deserted Him and done despite to His cause.

2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”.

Great ‘evangelical’ Bishop Harold Miller praised for being ‘unswerving ecumenist’ by his Archbishop

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

There is a bizarre perception which appears to have built up that Bishop Harold Miller, the recently retired Church of Ireland Bishop of Down and Dromore, is a true ‘evangelical’.

His opposition to same-sex marriage and attendance at the supposedly conservative Anglican movement, GAFCON (Global Anglican Future Conference), seems to have been enough to see him carve out an ill-deserved reputation as an ‘evangelical’.

It would appear that by simply saying sodomites should not marry and babies ought not to be massacred in the womb you obtain such a reputation.

Certainly, it is good that anyone should hold to these views (though any Anglican cleric opposed to sodomite marriage would probably be in need of some smelling salts to revive them were anyone to use the Biblical word, ‘sodomite’ in their presence) but all it proves is they aren’t a complete reprobate.

This is a general observation we made back in January when highlighting Bishop Harold Miller’s disgraceful addressing of a Week of Prayer for Christian Unity service in Bangor.

And further evidence, were it needed, of his utterly unscriptural and dreadfully misjudged compromise with Rome has been offered in the hearty tributes paid to him by his Archbishop, the Most Ecumenical (though he, presumably, prefers Most Reverend) Richard Clarke.

Paying tribute in a statement, which is on the Church of Ireland website, Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke (pictured, above) said: “I would thank him for his wonderful contribution to the life of the Church of Ireland, both in his priestly ministry, and as Bishop of Down and Dromore over the past 22 and a half years.

“Bishop Harold has never “held back”, whether in terms of commitment, energy, enthusiasm or creativity.

“A fine liturgist and an unswerving ecumenist, he has given great service to the Church of Ireland, and for this we must indeed thank God.”

So there you go, the great ‘evangelical’ Bishop Harold Miller is in fact, as vouched for by his senior colleague, an “unswerving ecumenist”.

Certainly, given he himself is an experienced and determined compromiser with the pagan corruption of true Christianity that is Rome, Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke would know what an ecumenist looks like when he sees one.

Further evidence of this “unswerving” ecumenism can actually be seen by the second most recent post on Bishop Harold Miller’s Twitter page from 13 August, in which he has retweeted a post by the Benedictine Monks based in Rostrevor, County Down.

A brief scroll further down his Twitter page shows that on 26 March this year he congratulated a Papist monk, Mark Ephrem-Nolan, on becoming the leader of that same order of monks in Rostrevor, describing him as a “great friend and Christian brother”. The tweet is pictured, below.

How can a Romanist monk be described by any true evangelical as their “Christian brother”?

Rome and its adherents deny the Christian gospel message of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone which the Bible teaches.

It denies that the blood of Christ is all-sufficient for salvation. This is a totally unChristian religion.

So if Bishop Harold Miller considers a Romanist monk his spiritual “brother”, one must wonder what he truly believes.

He is certainly not being faithful to God’s Word in so doing and, given evangelicals are supposed to emphasise the crucial role of Scripture, he is very clearly showing himself to be anything but an evangelical.

A true evangelical would act the evangelist when confronted with someone like Mark Ephrem-Nolan.

Agents of Rome who teach its false doctrines of salvation by works, Purgatory, Mary worship, prayers to saints, idolatry and prayers for the dead, among many others, need to be saved, they need to be evangelised.

By calling Mark Ephrem-Nolan a “Christian brother”, Bishop Harold Miller is saying that such people do not need to be evangelised.

And that, dear reader, is a Christ- dishonouring disgrace.

Bishop Harold Miller has chosen to flatter the likes of Mark Ephrem-Nolan and many other Romanists into hell rather than implore them to turn from the hellish deceits of Rome and place their faith and trust in Christ alone for salvation.

We are clearly shown in the Scriptures that salvation is not of our own works or efforts.

The verses at the top of this article are ones which Bishop Harold Miller should be quoting to the likes of Mark Ephrem-Nolan.

Here are some more from God’s inerrant and inspired Word.

Titus 3:5-7 says: “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Romans 4:16, 20-25 says: “Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”

The righteousness of Christ is imputed, or assigned, to us by grace through faith in Him.

It doesn’t come by being raised in the church or through baptism or through paying your way or attending Mass every day or saying ‘Hail Marys’, it is by placing your faith alone in Christ.

Rome teaches that our original sin, the sinful nature we are all born with through Adam, is washed away at baptism.

This is a filthy lie.

Rome’s catechism says this: “Baptism, by imparting the life of Christ’s grace, erases original sin”.

They claim sins are cleansed by the sprinkling of water, however, sin cannot be cleansed except through the blood of Christ.

Hebrews 9:22 says that “without shedding of blood is no remission”.

Let’s repeat that – there is “no remission” to be had for sin “without shedding of blood”.

It doesn’t say that some remission can be had through other means, it doesn’t say that water can be used to clear away some sins, it says that “without shedding of blood is no remission”.

That chapter continues and puts the lie to the blasphemous continual sacrificing of Christ through the Mass.

Hebrews 9:24-26, 28: “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

We are told Christ does not “offer himself often”, but rather “once… hath he appeared to put away sin by sacrifice of himself” and “Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many”.

This is repeated again and again for our clarity, yet Rome refuses to accept this crystal clear exposition of how we can be saved.

Mark Ephrem-Nolan is a promoter of this devilish doctrine, but Bishop Harold Miller, the “unswerving ecumenist”, considers him a “Christian brother”.

If this is the conservative wing of the Church of Ireland, then that truly shows the utterly apostate nature of that church.

We quite purposely omitted a verse from the close of Hebrews 9 above, and we will finish this post by highlighting it.

Hebrews 9:27 says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”.

We will all die unless Christ returns first, whether we attend a Protestant church, a Roman Catholic church or follow another faith or none.

More than that, we will all be judged.

Revelation 20:11-15: “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Are you ready to meet God and be judged by Him?

Will your name be found in the book of life? Or will your name be absent and you will instead be “cast into the lake of fire”?

Hell is a real place, hell is a dreadful place, hell is forever – will you spend all eternity there or will you come to Christ for salvation?

Acts 16:31 states clearly: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved”.

If you are saved, will you warn others who are unsaved, whether they be Roman Catholic, so-called Protestant or whatever, that they face an eternity in hell if they are not saved?

Or will you follow the example of Bishop Harold Miller and flatter those believing in a false hope of salvation into that awful place called hell?

We pray that you will be a true evangelical and seek to see poor deluded Roman Catholics saved from their false religion.

Mark 16:15: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel”.

Church of Ireland statement – ministers are free to march in LGBT ‘Pride’ parades

Just three days ago, we put the question to the Church of Ireland – were they going to take any type of a stand against one of its ministers, Rev Andrew Rawding’s (pictured, top) disgraceful conduct in taking it upon himself to “apologise” to the LGBT community for how the church had “mistreated” them?

Well, it didn’t take long for an answer to come along, albeit indirectly.

In an article featured in the Belfast Newsletter, the Church of Ireland stated that the like of Rev Andrew Rawding “may continue to hold their point of view”.

Yes, you have read that correctly.

The Rev Andrew Rawding has the Church of Ireland’s blessing to continue marching in sodomite ‘Pride’ parades, the latest of which he took part in was in Newry, County Armagh today (Saturday).

This followed on from him marching in the sodomite ‘Pride’ parades in Belfast and Londonderry.

This is what the Newsletter article said: “A spokesman for the Church of Ireland said that a church Synod resolution on human sexuality in 2012 affirmed that marriage is “a holy mystery in which one man and one woman become one flesh”. The resolution also opposed “bigotry, hurtful words or actions and demeaning or damaging language” in relation to sexuality.

“The spokesman said that church teaching is agreed in a “democratic” process; Many clergy and laity disagree with church teaching “and may continue to hold their point of view, but it will not be the official position of the Church”.”

So there you have it, the Church of Ireland’s ministers are free to march in LGBT ‘Pride’ parades with no fear of any censures or reprisals.

What a shocking, shameful and outrageous example for the Church of Ireland to set.

This is a clear abandonment of any efforts in the Church of Ireland to deal with sin, which is the central point of the gospel.

We cannot be forgiven if we do not repent of our sin.

We cannot receive a place in heaven if we do not repent of our sin.

When the church fails to take a clear stand against sin, it places an obstacle in the way of people being forgiven of their sin.

That is repugnant.

It really is shocking that the Church of Ireland can sit by idly and say there is no problem with Rev Andrew Rawding loudly and proudly rejecting his own church’s official teaching and, far more importantly, the Bible’s teaching on which relationships are permissible in the eyes of God.

What exactly is the point of a church having clergy who disagree with church teaching?

Why don’t they find a church which they do agree with?

Of course, many of these individuals are agitators trying to force change from within the Church of Ireland to get the church to the point where same-sex ‘marriage’ and all other forms of perversion are accepted in the church.

And the pathetic inaction of those in charge of the church is allowing this to happen.

Some will, no doubt, say, as do many Presbyterians looking to make sodomy acceptable in their church, that this is evidence of a “broad church” type of Christianity.

Let us remind them that narrow is the way that leads to salvation.

Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

It is not a great sign of tolerance or, as some would even more fallaciously try to claim, a sign of Christianity, to laud some sort of “broad church” approach.

God has set certain standards and parameters to which we are to abide.

His Son, Jesus Christ, says in the passage above that “narrow is the way” which leads to life eternal while the broad way leads to “destruction”.

And that is exactly where the road Rev Andrew Rawding is ushering people down leads.

And, by flatly refusing to step in and address his shameful shepherding of the flocks over which he has authority (Holy Trinity Brackaville, St Patrick’s Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Donaghendry), the Church of Ireland is equally guilty.

The following verses in that same chapter are also very relevant in this context of churches failing to fulfil their mission of imploring people to repent and believe the gospel.

Matthew 7:15-20: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

The fruit being brought forth by Rev Andrew Rawding is of the most rotten variety.

He is encouraging people to continue on in their sin and encouraging others to do the same.

This is something which is strongly condemned by the Saviour.

Matthew 23:13 says: “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”

Preaching that God is accepting of that which He has in fact called an “abomination” very clearly is an example of preventing others from entering into the kingdom of heaven.

This is surely a very clear example of a separation matter for any true child of God within the Church of Ireland.

Dear believer within the Church of Ireland, your leadership has publicly stated that Rev Andrew Rawding, and any other minister who so chooses, is free to show utter contempt for your church’s teaching and the Word of God’s teaching on this most vital of matters.

Is this a situation you consider to be tolerable?

The leadership of the Church of Ireland, which starts with Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke (pictured, below), the Archbishop of Armagh, is disgracefully refusing to take their stand for God.

Will you?

We surely cannot be silent in the face of such wilful apostasy from the Church of Ireland.

Let us all follow the Scriptural call to be separated from the workers of iniquity.

We don’t have to be members of or attendees at the Church of Ireland for this to be applicable to us.

Does our church have any links with this church? Do we attend services in the Church of Ireland? Do we attend social events in the Church of Ireland? Do Church of Ireland ministers ever speak at our church?

There can be no links with a church which refuses to address sin.

How can blessing be found where rebellion against God is present?

God hates sin.

This is a simple yet fundamental Biblical precept.

We can see so many examples of this throughout Scripture.

We can see God expressing his hatred for it in his proclamations against His chosen people.

Hosea 9:15-17 gives a clear example of this.

It says: “All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters. Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.”

If God declares such judgment on His covenant people, how much more wary ought we, as Gentiles, to be faithful to Him.

The Apostle Paul likened us to branches being grafted on to the tree after the branches representing the Jews had been broken off.

Warning the Gentiles in Rome to remain faithful, he said in Romans 11:21: “For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.”

There is a price to be paid for sin. Do we want to associate ourselves with it? Surely our answer will be, as Paul so often wrote, “God forbid”.

Let us separate ourselves in every fashion from the Church of Ireland, who have now officially sanctioned its ministers marching for sodomy and transgenderism.

Let us go outside the camp to be on the Lord’s side.

2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”.

Rev Andrew Rawding marches in another sodomite ‘Pride’ parade – will Church of Ireland leadership do anything about it?

Proverbs 24:11-12: “If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

There is an old saying which touches on the theme of the verses above – that of God’s reproof if we fail to warn those headed for destruction of the danger they are in.

It has been attributed to many different characters, but it is simply that “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.

And certainly what we are seeing in this day and age is a deepening of the departure from God, coupled by an increasing and perplexing amount of elective mutism – just when a voice is needed to be raised against the apostasy all around us, everyone appears to be silent.

Do we hear fearless and uncompromising voices such as those of Rev Ian Paisley or CH Spurgeon in our day?

Sad to say, there appears to be a dearth of ministers willing to take a voluble public stand against sin.

And it would appear, sadly, that continued God-defiance by Church of Ireland rector Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top) has gone totally unnoticed and certainly unrestricted by the hierarchy of his church.

Rev Andrew Rawding, as we highlighted a few weeks ago, took it upon himself to “apologise” on behalf of “the church” for how it has allegedly “mistreated” sodomites and transgender people.

It was certainly a rather presumptuous move to make for someone who has hitherto been a fairly obscure Church of Ireland minister from Coalisland in County Tyrone.

Rev Andrew Rawding made this arrogant “apology” (pictured, above) at the sodomite ‘Pride’ parade in Belfast and he took his clerical compromise show on the road again last weekend by “apologising” to those acting in open rebellion against God at the Foyle ‘Pride’ celebration in Londonderry.

He proudly paraded his rejection of the Biblical prohibition of same-sex relationships on his Facebook page and in the Belfast Telegraph.

It certainly is interesting that the sodomite movement has opted to use the term ‘Pride’ as the slogan for the public expression of their unbiblical lobby, given that pride is comprehensively condemned throughout Scripture.

Here are just a few examples.

Proverbs 16:18: “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

1 John 2:16: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

Daniel 4:37: “Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.”

That closing part of the last of the three verses could be written for the sodomite movement – “those that walk in pride he is able to abase”.

What a great comfort it is to know that the Almighty God of heaven, “whose works are truth, and his ways judgment” (there’s a word the Bible rejecting ‘Christians’ hate), is able to bring down those who exalt themselves against Him.

While spiritual leaders may forsake their responsibilities and fail to speak out against departure from His Word, we can be sure that God, whose ways are judgment, will not allow sin to go unchecked forever.

However, this does not absolve those who fail to take a stand for Him.

Even though a turn of events is all part of God’s plan, the guilt of the guilty is not mitigated by this.

This is a simple God-ordained principle, spoken from the mouth of the Saviour.

Matthew 18:7: “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!”

So there really is no fig leaf, no excuse for Rev Andrew Rawding to offer on the day of judgment for his betrayal of God’s Word in lining up with His enemies.

And the same can be said for those occupying the highest positions within the Church of Ireland Diocese of Armagh, which Rev Andrew Rawding’s churches, Holy Trinity Church, Brackaville, St Patrick’s Church, Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Church, Donaghendry, fall under.

At the very top of the pile in the Armagh Diocese is the most senior Church of Ireland minister in the country, the Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, Most Reverend Richard Clarke (pictured, below).

This is an individual whose own open defiance of God’s Word in relation to his shabby ecumenical compromise with the pagan religion of Rome we have previously highlighted.

Such is his rejection of the Biblical call to separation, he has rightly earned the moniker of Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke.

He has achieved this ignoble distinction by actions such as writing a letter to the Pope begging him to visit Northern Ireland, marking St Patrick’s Day last year in his clerical domain of Armagh city by bringing his parishioners into Rome’s clutches and earlier this year he was the guest speaker at the ecumenical Causeway Coast Peace Group’s 17th anniversary service, held in a Romanist chapel in Ballycastle, County Antrim.

Given his Bible rejecting credentials in this matter, his steadfast refusal to “earnestly contend for the faith” (Jude v 3), it is perhaps unsurprising he has allowed such open rebellion to take place under his watch.

However, as we have said, this is not an excuse or justification for his inaction.

It is not just Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke who has apparently failed to address this outrageous conduct of Rev Andrew Rawding, there are others in high ranking positions who have been silent in the face of such rebellion against God.

The Archdeacon of Armagh, according to the Armagh Diocese’s website, is the Venerable Rev Terry Scott (pictured, below), minister of St Swithin’s Parish Church in Magherafelt, County Londonderry.

What has Venerable Rev Terry Scott got to say on the matter?

Archdeacons hold a fair deal of sway, yet it would seem he, too, has opted to employ elective mutism in the face of Rev Andrew Rawding’s rejection of God’s Word.

According to the clergy list in the diocese on their own website, there is one other minister who has risen to the rank of ‘Venerable’.

That is the Venerable Rev Andrew Forster. He apparently holds the title of Archdeacon of Ardboe, a small village on the shores of Lough Neagh.

What roles or responsibilities come with this title we have no idea, but it would appear he holds rank within the Diocese of Armagh.

Rev Andrew Forster is also the minister of St Anne’s Parish Church in Dungannon, County Tyrone.

Another high ranking clergyman within the diocese is the Dean of Armagh, Very Rev Gregory Dunstan (pictured, below).

He has previously featured on ‘Protestant Revival’ due to his ecumenical compromise, which included his salivating at the prospect of a Romanist monk being appointed as an ecumenical canon at St Patrick’s Church of Ireland cathedral in Armagh and his preaching at a dreadful week of meetings in St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast which was also addressed by a Jesuit priest.

It is hard to imagine a determined ecumenist speaking out against a different form of Bible rejection, and it would appear he, too, has remained silent in the face of Rev Andrew Rawding’s conduct.

Two further clergymen who are members of the Chapter of Armagh Cathedral are worthy of mention here, as they hold the roles of Precentor and Chancellor respectively.

They are Canon Norman Porteus and Canon Andrew Dawson (although the Armagh Diocese website’s clergy list calls him Canon Drew Dawson), both of Derryloran Parish Church in Cookstown, County Tyrone.

All of these men occupy positions where they could apply pressure for action to be taken or take the action directly themselves, but instead Rev Andrew Rawding carries on unchecked in his defiance against God.

What a sad situation this is.

Of course, there could be discussions going on behind the scenes, perhaps some disagree with Rev Andrew Rawding’s actions, but who among them has spoken out against it publicly? None, as far as we can see.

Every member of the clergy in the diocese has a responsibility as well to speak out, not just these individuals in lofty positions.

After all, what use is a watchman that does not sound the alarm or a dog that does not bark to warn of danger?

God takes a very low view of such.

Isaiah 56:10-11: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.”

What a fierce condemnation there is for those who fail to take their stand for him.

Will you remain silent as well, dear reader?

Acts 20:26-30: “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh sweeps Protestants into the arms of Rome

The Most Reverend (Most Ecumenical!) Richard Clarke (pictured, top), the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, is a keen fan of compromise with Rome.

He regularly issues joint statements alongside the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Armagh, Eamon Martin, the most recent of which was a joint endorsement of the ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ prayer event (further proof that such an event, so ardently promoted by David Dickinson of Belfast Central and Pete Greig and Alain ‘Ecumenical’ Emerson’s 24-7 Prayer grouping, is most definitely best avoided).

Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke was ever so keen to meet “that Antichrist”, the Pope, when he came to the Republic of Ireland, and even sent him a lovely little letter begging him to come to Northern Ireland on his visit in this general direction.

Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke spent St Patrick’s Day last year parading the deluded adherents to his false gospel of ecumenism to the Papist cathedral in Armagh.

Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke last year celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Belfast Agreement which brought the release from prison of vast numbers of unrepentant terrorist murderers, both Romanist and loyalist. The God which Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke claims to serve is a God of justice; Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke, on the other hand, appears happy for justice to be turned on its head.

And last week Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke was continuing his fellowshipping with Romanism as he was the guest speaker in a Romanist chapel in Ballycastle, County Antrim.

He spoke at St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, 23 June at a 17th anniversary service of the Causeway Coast Peace Group.

The Causeway Coast Peace Group is an ungodly organisation, mustered from various churches on the north coast of Northern Ireland.

It has held numerous events featuring Papists and clerical compromisers and hosted in hubs of Romanist deceit.

This event ticked the boxes of featuring a clerical compromiser (Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke) and being hosted in a hub of Romanist deceit (St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s Roman Catholic chapel).

And previous events the Causeway Coast Peace Group have hosted are equally reprehensible, when put in the light of God’s Word.

This includes an event in Ballintoy Parish Church which was addressed by Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke’s mate, Eamon Martin, as well as an event in Ballycastle Presbyterian Church where the guest speaker was another noted practitioner of Popish priestcraft, ‘Father’ Brian d’Arcy.

The Causeway Coast Peace Group also organised sessions where members worked through a so-called study of the book of Ruth, put together by the utterly ungodly Corrymeela Community, the home of ecumenical Bible distortion in Northern Ireland.

The study in fact was nothing but a smutty, innuendo driven look at the relationship between Ruth and Boaz, obsessed with their own imagined sexual encounters between the pair which the Bible clearly shows never took place.

So this is the calibre of this grouping and we now see the most senior figure in the Church of Ireland endorsing its ungodliness, and doing so in a Romanist chapel, no less.

This is where all manner of pagan blasphemies and perversions of true Christianity are carried out on a daily basis.

Foremost among these is the Romish lie of the Mass, where Christ is sacrificed again and again and again, a practice totally in opposition to the Bible.

The Scriptural, God-ordained position is set out clearly in Hebrews 9:24-28, which says: “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

It states that Christ would “not… offer himself often” but rather “once… hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself” and “Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many”.

This sacrifice for sin of Christ is not a continual, ongoing, repetitive action, but rather a once only sacrifice.

Rome has conjured such a notion as the Mass, complete with its lie that the priest has some magical power to transform a wafer into the body of Christ, from its own foul imagination.

The Church of Ireland used to believe Rome practiced an evil lie as well.

In its 39 Articles, which allegedly govern the Church of Ireland, it is stated that the Romish Mass is nothing but a “blasphemous fable” and “dangerous deceit”.

So why is the leader of the Church of Ireland, who has subscribed to uphold and maintain those Articles, leading a service in a Romish chapel where that “blasphemous fable” and “dangerous deceit” is practiced, no doubt even earlier that very day?

It is a wretched, shameful situation and a damning indictment of the state of the Church of Ireland today.

Does Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke believe what he signed up to in the 39 Articles or care what they have to say? It would appear not.

Does Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke believe what the Bible says about the sacrifice of Christ or care what it has to say? It would appear not.

We are told in no uncertain terms in God’s Word to have nothing to do with false worship.

Indeed, the idolatry of the Children of Israel was one of the most grievous sins God reckoned with them for in His punishment of them, both in the wilderness and when they entered the promised land.

We can see the fierceness of God’s wrath against any who turn aside to idolatry, with which Rome is replete, in Deuteronomy 29:18-21: “Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven. And the Lord shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law”.

The sin of the people in doing so and God’s wrath upon it is seen in Judges 2:12-15.

It says: “And they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the Lord to anger. And they forsook the Lord, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies. Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the Lord was against them for evil, as the Lord had said, and as the Lord had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.”

Despite these clear Scriptural warnings, such as that of Ephesians 5:11, which instructs us to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them”, Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke persists in worshipping alongside those who deny the all-sufficient sacrifice of Christ on Calvary.

In doing so, he denies Christ and follows the imagination of his own heart.

It is symptomatic of a sinful age where “every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Judges 17:6) and this is exacerbated when it is replicated by those in high spiritual office.

Jeremiah 2:7-8 says: “And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke is not enquiring after the Lord, else he would not be happily engaging with the Roman Catholic Church.

Dear reader, if you or anyone you know is connected with the Church of Ireland, won’t you even share this with them to warn of the grave betrayal of not only that church’s governing principles, but most importantly the betrayal of God’s Word, being carried out by that church’s leader.

Do you want to be associated with such a man as one who engages in ecumenical compromise with Rome at every opportunity he can find?

Surely not. We implore you to break from that apostate church and even let your local minister, your local bishop and even Archbishop Richard Clarke himself know why you’re doing it and why his behaviour is so utterly at odds with God’s Word.

Even if you are not affiliated with that church, let us never be afraid to raise our voice in protest and opposition to such wicked God-defiance.

Let us not allow these wolves in sheep’s clothing to go on in their Christ rejection without a word of challenge or rebuke.

We are called as followers of Christ to speak out against religious apostasy and error.

Let us redouble our efforts even today and follow the charge of Isaiah 58:1 to “cry aloud” and “spare not”, let us lift up our voice like a trumpet and “shew the house of Jacob their sins”.
