Church of Ireland canon preaches at Roman Catholic Novena

Religious compromise with Rome appears to be almost compulsory in the previously Protestant Church of Ireland, certainly if you want to achieve any sort of exalted rank.

There is scarcely a bishop who isn’t on friendly terms with their Romanist counterpart, with the new Archbishop of Armagh, John McDowell, a prime example of someone completely given over to Romish compromise.

We have previously written about other recently retired bishops, including the former Archbishop of Armagh Richard Clarke, former Bishop of Derry and Raphoe Ken Good and former Bishop of Down and Dromore Harold Miller, who were ever keen to betray their own church’s 39 Articles and link arms with the promoters of the pagan falsehoods of Rome.

We have previously written about plenty of canons and archdeacons who have similarly shown their true religious colours by rejecting God’s Word and siding with the enemies of Christ, such as Canon David Skuce, now a rector in County Donegal and formerly in County Fermanagh, Canon Mark Harvey, rector in Lurgan, County Armagh and Archdeacon Stephen McBride, rector in Antrim town who previously spoke at a Romanist novena.

And that same act of apostasy was sadly committed just last month by another Church of Ireland canon, this time Canon Ian Ellis (pictured, top), rector of Rossorry Parish Church, near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh.

His actions live up to the second part of his church’s name as it is very sorry indeed.

This Canon Ian Ellis is not to be confused with the man of the same name and rank who was formerly editor of the Church of Ireland Gazette and is now a rector in Newcastle, County Down, although he too is fond of Romish compromise.

This Canon Ian Ellis was a preacher at the annual so-called “Novena of Hope” held at The Graan Monastery in County Fermanagh, although the “Novena of No Hope” would be a better name for it, given it is utterly contrary to the Word of God.

What is a Novena? It is a Roman Catholic ritual and according to the ‘Pray More Novenas’ website, “a Novena is made up of nine days of prayer and meditation, usually to ask God for special prayer requests or petitions. Novenas are often used to ask specific saints to pray for us”.

So a Novena involves the invocation of saints, despite the Bible’s teaching in 1 Timothy 2:5, which says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”.

Wikipedia continues and says: “The practice grew by the Middle Ages to include pious prayers for nine days before a feast in honour of a saint identified on a liturgical calendar. By the 11th century, the Novena practice had become a means in Christianity of praying to petition personal or spiritual favour to a saint, such as Virgin Mary. After the Reformation and Counter-Reformation era, the Catholic Church formally approved Novenas, in particular through the papal approvals of a large number of Novenas by Pope Pius IX.”

So the Novena has the stamp of approval from the Pope, “that man of sin, and son of perdition”, the man who blasphemously sets himself up in God’s place.

Wikipedia goes on to say: “The practice of the Novena is based in early Christianity, where masses were held for nine days with devotional prayers to someone who has died.”

So the Novena has its roots in prayer for the dead, which is a reference to the Romanist lie of purgatory, an absolutely anti-Biblical construct of the Roman Catholic Church. When we die we either go straight to heaven or straight to hell. There is no in between.

Look at the rich man in Luke 16. We are told in verses 22-23: “…the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…”

There was no in between for the rich man. He died and went straight to hell.

And the lies and deceits of Rome will take all who adhere to them there as well.

Canon Ian Ellis’ betrayal of his church’s heritage took place on Thursday, 5 March when he spoke on the topic “Hope is… Reaching out the hand of fellowship to our brothers and sisters who come from other traditions”.

And there we were thinking that hope lay in salvation which comes alone by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

We are to place our hope in the triune God.

Romans 15:13 says: “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

We are to place our hope in the word of God.

Psalm 119:114 says: “Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.”

Hope is at the root of faith in Christ.

Hebrews 11:1,3: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

That is where hope lies, not in ecumenical jollies and soft soap words designed to make the speaker and the hearers feel nice about themselves and congratulate themselves on being so wonderfully tolerant and open-minded.

Where the undiluted gospel of Christ is not preached then there is no value in it and Canon Ian Ellis could not have preached the undiluted gospel of Christ at that novena as it is an event designed to contradict the gospel of Christ.

Last summertime we highlighted the truly despicable situation whereby four different allegedly Protestant ministers spoke at the novena at Clonard Monastery, a hub of Romanist deceit in Irish republican west Belfast.

The four were ‘Rev’ Tracey McRoberts, ‘minister’ of St Matthew’s Church of Ireland on the Shankill Road in Belfast, Presbyterian ‘minister’ ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban, who acts as the church’s chaplain at Queen’s University, Rev Johnston McMaster, Methodist minister and professor in the Irish School of Ecumenics and Rev John Alderdice, another Methodist minister, who is also Director of Ministry at Edgehill Theological College, the training school for aspiring Methodist ministers in Northern Ireland.

On recordings of the services from the novena, all four can be seen happily sitting throughout the entire mass service, watching on as the priest blasphemously lifts the wafer above his head and claims Jesus is truly present in the wafer and in the wine. Rev John Alderdice is pictured below, second from left, sitting contentedly as the blasphemous mass is offered up.

And, unless the novena at The Graan is very different from any other novenas held everywhere else, Canon Ian Ellis was happy to sit and watch our Lord Jesus Christ being offered up once again blasphemously by a God-defying Romanist priest.

We are reminded in Hebrews 10:11-12 that Christ’s sacrifice was once for all.

It says: “And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God”.

The mass is an accursed blasphemy which denies the God it falsely claims to honour and Canon Ian Ellis, as a Church of Ireland minister, is outrageously doing a disservice to his most important role by sitting back and letting such blasphemies go on without raising his voice against them.

Worse still, he is encouraging those who attend and partake in the mass to continue on in their sin by giving credence to the Roman Catholic Church.

Canon Ian Ellis certainly has a track record of chumming up with Rome, as it is reported on the website of a newspaper local to his current church that, at his institution as rector there in March 2015, two senior Papists were in attendance.

One was ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly and the other was well-known Romanist priest and media personality ‘Father’ Brian D’Arcy, who formerly served in The Graan.

We will remind Canon Ian Ellis and any other compromiser within the Church of Ireland what the 28th of their 39 Articles of faith says regarding the Lord’s Supper.

It says: “Transubstantiation (or the change of the substance of Bread and Wine) in the Supper of the Lord, cannot be proved by holy Writ; but is repugnant to the plain words of Scripture, overthroweth the nature of a Sacrament, and hath given occasion to many superstitions.”

The 31st Article adds that “the sacrifices of Masses, in the which it was commonly said, that the Priest did offer Christ for the quick and the dead, to have remission of pain or guilt, were blasphemous fables, and dangerous deceits.”

How much better are the standards of their Anglican forefathers than what we see polluting pulpits throught Northern Ireland and so many other places today.

The 39 Articles call the mass a “blasphemous fable and dangerous deceit” and say the Romanist doctrine of transubstantiation is “repugnant” to the Word of God.

What a shameful situation it is to see Canon Ian Ellis engaging with such an event as this.

Once again we appeal to any involved with the Church of Ireland to separate themselves fully from this apostate denomination and urge any who are as yet unsaved to come to Christ for salvation.

Our only hope for an eternity in heaven lies not in the observance of sacraments or sacrifices, but in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Come to him today, do not delay.

Proverbs 27:1: “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”

Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Church of Ireland praying for success of Romanist bishop – Right Eejit John McDowell

2 John 1:9-11: “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

A Church of Ireland bishop has expressed his hope that he will enjoy a strong “friendship” with his new Roman Catholic counterpart in the Diocese of Clogher.

‘Monsignor’ Larry Duffy was named the new Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher earlier this month and the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit (though he presumably prefers Right Reverend) John McDowell was quick to wish Bishop Larry Duffy well as he takes up his leading role in propagating Romish deceit in the area.

Welcoming the appointment of ‘Monsignor’ Larry Duffy, Right Eejit John McDowell said: “I want to congratulate Mgr Duffy on his appointment and assure him of my prayers and those of his many friends within the Church of Ireland community.

“I look forward to working with the new Bishop in the same spirit of friendship and service as I was fortunate enough to share with his predecessor Bishop Liam McDaid and pray that Mgr Duffy will know the presence of the Lord as he prepares for his episcopal ordination.”

It should not be much of a surprise to see Right Eejit John McDowell wishing his Romish friend success in his new role and making overtures towards him with regards seeking to establish ecumenical relationships.

Indeed, just last month, Right Eejit John McDowell shockingly preached from the Apocrypha in a Remembrance Sunday service in St Macartin’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Enniskillen.

Not only that, but he has regularly cosied up with Larry Duffy’s predecessor as Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher, Liam McDaid, as Right Eejit John McDowell himself attested to in his statement welcoming the new occupant of the post.

He has also established ecumenical links with ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, a good friend of the brazen ecumenist Rev Kenneth Hall (the pair are pictured together, below, with ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly on the right), Church of Ireland Dean of Clogher. Peter O’Reilly has held the role of Diocesan Administrator of the Roman Catholic Clogher Diocese while a new bishop was sought.

Indeed, Right Eejit John McDowell has just yesterday (Monday) issued his joint Christmas message with his Romish chum. Any mention of how we might be saved in the message, given his message is supposed to centre around the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ? Of course not.

And the man who occupied the bishop post prior to Liam McDaid was Joseph Duffy, a man found in a damning report by the Irish National Board for Safeguarding Children in 2010 to have “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse and did not remove suspected paedophile priests from the ministry”.

This was reported on in the Belfast Telegraph, with the relevant article still available online.

That same Belfast Telegraph article also reports that there was “an unacceptable delay” in taking action against one priest, while it was also reported that Bishop Joseph Duffy’s delay came despite concerns being raised of a “credible allegation” in his Clogher diocese.”

And back in June, we highlighted how Right Eejit John McDowell was a guest of honour at a Mass celebrating 60 years since the ordination of Joseph Duffy (pictured, below) to the Romanist priesthood.

To attend the Romish Mass as a supposedly Protestant minister, regardless of whether or not (and we know not) Right Eejit John McDowell partook of the elements, is a grave matter and ought to have been dealt with in the strongest possible of terms by the Church of Ireland.

After all, their own 39 Articles, which supposedly govern the church, condemn the Mass as a “blasphemous fable” and a “dangerous deceit”.

However, he remains in situ six months later, continuing to brazenly embrace Rome and celebrate and offer support to various practitioners of Popish priestcraft.

That is leaving aside Right Eejit John McDowell’s honouring of a priest condemned in such terms by that report from the Irish National Board for Safeguarding Children.

One can only conclude the Church of Ireland has abandoned its 39 Articles in favour of mean compromise with Rome, a church which, through the centuries long Inquisition and various other means, has sought to silence and destroy the glorious message of the gospel of salvation by faith alone in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Right Eejit John McDowell’s conduct can at best be described as bidding God speed to the workers of unrighteousness and making him a partaker of their evil deeds.

And by the Church of Ireland allowing such a situation to develop and proceed unhindered, the church is implicated in this guiltiness of endorsing Romanism.

Also, this situation with the new Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher provides exactly the same scenario, as this leading figure in the Church of Ireland says he will pray for the success of this new bishop.

Success of course, for Larry Duffy, would be to see the Roman Catholic diocese of Clogher growing and the teaching of Romanism gaining ground.

Yet this is apparently what Right Eejit John McDowell is happy to set his seal of approval to?

What a sad state of affairs.

Dear reader, if you remain tied up among the Anglican movement, which is ran by and large by rampant ecumenists and ecclesiastic compromisers, won’t you even separate yourself from the likes of Right Eejit John McDowell?

This call will be necessary up to the close of this age to God’s chosen people caught up in that which they ought to be well clear of.

Revelation 18:1-4 demonstrates this: “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

Be not partakers of the plagues of apostasy and ecumenism but instead be separated unto Christ.

Hebrews 13:13: “Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.”

Arlene Foster attends ecumenical Remembrance service in Romanist chapel

The DUP’s gradual, yet continual, decline from its former Biblical standards continued even over Remembrance Sunday, which this year also marked the 100th anniversary of the Armistice at the end of what became known as the First World War.

The party’s leader, Arlene Foster (pictured, top), a Fermanagh woman, was in attendance at an ecumenical Remembrance service in the Roman Catholic church in Enniskillen, St Michael’s, on the evening of Remembrance Sunday.

And party MP, Jeffrey Donaldson, was in attendance at an ecumenical service where the Papist Archbishop of Armagh Eamon Martin was the guest speaker.

That service was held in the second biggest hub of ecumenism (the biggest being the ghastly Corrymeela Community on the north coast) in Northern Ireland, St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast.

At both meetings the chief preacher was an architect of Romish deceit and Papal priestcraft, with the speaker in the Enniskillen service being ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly.

Among the allegedly Protestant ministers who took part in the service, and who have all been photographed at the front of the chapel beside where the blasphemous Romish Mass is offered up, was Rev Kenneth Hall (pictured, below with ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly), Dean of the Clogher Diocese and minister of St Macartin’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Enniskillen.

He is a habitual ecumenist and you can read of his devotion to compromise with Rome by clicking here and of a service he held in St Macartin’s Cathedral honouring a Jesuit priest in the process of being sainted by the Pope by clicking here.

Also taking part, fresh from preaching from the Apocrypha in a Remembrance Sunday service in St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen that morning, was the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit John McDowell.

Another Protestant traitor added into the mix was Rev David Cupples (pictured, below), minister of Enniskillen Presbyterian Church. Rev David Cupples last year took several months off his duties to complete a Papist pilgrimage called the Camino de Santiago.

And completing the concoction of clerical compromisers on stage was ‘Rev’ Lorna Dreaning (1 Timothy 2:12), the recently appointed ‘minister’ of Enniskillen Methodist Church, wasting little time in laying her ecumenical cards on the table.

Add into the mix reports that other clergy, Orangemen and representatives of the Royal British Legion were in attendance and you have a very confused picture inside that den of Romanism.

This service was trumpeted as a sign of great civility between Protestants and Catholics, but it is in fact a sign of Protestants being deceived by the wiles of Rome and failing to keep themselves unstained from false worship.

When the world at large thinks a Church service is wonderful, one must be very sceptical.

Jesus reminds us of this when speaking in John 15:18-19. He says: “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

And what of Arlene Foster and her presence?

Given she is a member of the Church of Ireland, her local Bishop, the man who told her it was ok to go to a GAA match on a Sunday, is Right Eejit John McDowell and he was complicit in this ungodly show last week.

However, we are all accountable for our own actions before God, though a minister bears a mighty responsibility for the souls he is charged with providing guidance to.

Arlene Foster continues to eschew fundamental Biblical Christianity, something which her party was founded upon and which many of its members would still claim to support.

The Bible says we are not to share in worship with those who are spiritually unclean, such as the Church of Rome.

Ephesians 5:11 says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

We have received a few comments in recent months commenting on whether or not Arlene Foster is a Christian. Our understanding is she would say she is and therefore we must take her at her word.

So, given that situation, she ought to know a great deal better than to consort with Popery in such a flagrant way, or indeed in any way.

Rome’s false gospel of works-based salvation and its manifold other blasphemies, such as prayer to Mary and to so-called ‘Saints’, prayer for the dead, the Mass, the titles the Pope takes on himself, idolatry and the fictional creation of purgatory, are vile offences against God and His inspired Word.

It is little wonder Ulster is in the sorry spiritual state it is in when you see representatives of much of the major so-called Protestant institutions in our country participating in such a manner.

The same can be said of Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, though there was nothing distinguishing in his attending a Remembrance service with Eamon Martin taking a leading role.

To attend a meeting in the den of ecumenical iniquity such as St Anne’s Cathedral is bad enough, but when a Papist is taking the pulpit? What a dreadful mess.

Our country will never see revival if Christians continue to look to the likes of Arlene Foster and Jeffrey Donaldson for their help.

In 1921, the Protestants of Ulster were saved from Rome rule by the formation of Northern Ireland.

However, as we look at the untold damage the ecumenical churches have done to our country and as we look at the rising tide of voters choosing to back those who to this day support and indeed celebrate the murder of Protestants to advance their evil cause, we can see the judgment of God coming upon Ulster.

If the people of Ulster do not turn back to God with all their heart, if they do not cease to mingle seed with Popery, then this land will be taken from us.

There is much more than an echo of the words of Joshua as he addressed the children of Israel shortly before his passing.

Joshua 23:12-16 says: “Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you. And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the Lord your God promised you; so shall the Lord bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you. When ye have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.”

Arlene Foster and Jeffrey Donaldson would do well to pay heed to those words of Joshua and so would all who profess Christ in this country.

Where do your first loyalties lie?

Is it with the DUP? The Church of Ireland? The Presbyterian Church? The Royal British Legion? The Orange Order?

Or do your first loyalties lie with the almighty, all powerful, all seeing, all knowing, prayer hearing and prayer answering God of heaven?

He is the one true and living God and we must serve him with all of our being.

We would do well to remember the words of God to Solomon.

1 Chronicles 28:9: “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.”

Rev Kenneth Hall at it again with yet another ecumenical service with Romanist

Proverbs 27:20: “Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.”

The Church of Ireland’s Dean of Clogher and Enniskillen rector, Rev Kenneth Hall, has an insatiable appetite for ecumenical compromise with Romanists.

At almost every turn, there he is pictured and partaking in yet another ecumenical service, smiling alongside some emissary of Papal deceit.

He took his latest opportunity a couple of weeks ago as he engaged in an ecumenical service to celebrate the 100th anniversary of an agricultural show.

It would appear that Rev Kenneth Hall just can’t help himself.

If there is an opportunity to betray the Bible, the 39 Articles of the Anglican faith, both of which he is supposed to uphold, and to reject his Protestant heritage, then he’ll be there, often ensuring there’s someone with a camera present to capture him grinning like a Cheshire cat next to some old deceiver of a Papist priest.

By his own admission, Rev Kenneth Hall has devoted his ministry to abandoning the truth of the gospel and instead chooses mean compromise with Rome, an anti-Christian system which knows only how to lead its adherents to hell.

We recently highlighted his comments in a sermon in which he said he would continue to work “tirelessly and endlessly” with Romish priests in his pursuit of unity.

He also proudly stated this courting of Rome was the very basis of his ministry, saying: “Everywhere I have moved to since my clerical life began… I have sought to do likewise. My message has not changed…”

Not only that, he is joined at the hip to a leading Romanist in the Fermanagh area, ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, with whom he is very much an ecumenical partner in crime.

He remains his bosom buddy, despite ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly acting as the Romanist mouthpiece who wrung his hands as he rejected permission for a memorial to the victims of the Romanist IRA bombing of those paying their respects on Remembrance Sunday 1987.

The reason he had the power to reject it? Because the bomb which claimed the lives of 13 Protestants was planted in Roman Catholic Church property. Rev Kenneth Hall was utterly silent on that.

Rev Kenneth Hall, a few months ago, held a service in his church honouring a native of Enniskillen, John Sullivan, who was born a Protestant but became a Jesuit priest and is now in the process of being sainted by the Pope.

And now he has taken part in yet another ecumenical service, this time to mark the 100th anniversary of the Clogher Valley Show in County Tyrone.

It was held on the Sunday prior to the agricultural show, which itself took place at the end of July.

He was joined on the occasion by ‘Father’ Noel McGahan, the Papist priest in Clogher, and the ‘Rev’ Olivia Downey, a female ‘minister’ recently appointed to the Clogher Group of Parishes. They are pictured in our below image, with ‘Father’ Noel McGahan on the far left, next to Rev Kenneth Hall, with ‘Rev’ Olivia Downey second right. The other individual appears to be an official at the show.

The gathering was apparently “a thanksgiving for everything that has taken place and [been] accomplished by the Clogher Valley Agricultural Society during the past 100 years”.

Quite why the priest had to be in attendance when this was clearly a Church of Ireland initiative is anyone’s guess.

We will remind Rev Kenneth Hall and indeed ‘Rev’ Olivia Downey of what their 39 Articles have to say. In ‘Rev’ Olivia Downey’s case, she will have presumably recently reaffirmed them, having just taken up her post in the springtime.

Article VI has this to say regarding the “Sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures for Salvation”: “Holy Scripture containeth all things necessary to salvation: so that whatsoever is not read therein, nor may be proved thereby, is not to be required of any man, that it should be believed as an article of the Faith, or be thought requisite or necessary to salvation.”

Rome teaches that ‘Sacred Tradition’ is just as important as the Bible and reject that crucial article of faith. Where does Rev Kenneth Hall stand on that?

Article XI speaks of the “Justification of Man”. It says: “We are accounted righteous before God, only for the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by Faith, and not for our own works or deservings.”

Rome teaches that we are justified by our works, despite Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly demonstrating that is not the case. Those verses say: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Rome says it is of works, God says it isn’t. Who do you believe? Who does Rev Kenneth Hall believe?

In Article XIX, speaking of “The Church”, it says: “As the Church of Jerusalem, Alexandria and Antioch, have erred, so also the Church of Rome hath erred, not only in their living and manner of Ceremonies, but also in matters of Faith.”

The Church of Ireland’s own supposedly governing principles say that Rome has erred both in matters of faith and ceremony, yet Rev Kenneth Hall is cuddling up with an errant church.

Colossians 2:8 advises us to “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Rev Kenneth Hall is both associating with and therefore as a minister helping propagate “vain deceit” which is “not after Christ”.

Article XXII speaks “Of Purgatory”. It says: “The Romish Doctrine concerning Purgatory, Pardons, Worshipping and Adoration, as well of Images as of Relics, and also Invocation of Saints, is a fond thing, vainly invented, and grounded upon no warranty of Scripture, but rather repugnant to the Word of God.”

The 39 Articles, which Rev Kenneth Hall claimed to subscribe to when he began to make a living from the ministry, say that Purgatory, images, relics and invocation of saints have no Scriptural warrant and, further than that, they are “repugnant to the Word of God”.

We referred earlier to Rev Kenneth Hall hosting a service honouring a man being sainted by the Pope, yet the invocation of saints is “repugnant”. So why does Rev Kenneth Hall assist in something so repugnant? When he has publicly vowed that these things are repugnant, why is he associating so enthusiastically with them?

We have reminded Rev Kenneth Hall of what the 39 Articles say, now let’s remind him what the Bible has to say.

2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”.

Ephesians 5:11: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

Jude 1:3: “…ye should earnestly contend for the faith…”

Rev Kenneth Hall is in open and brazen disobedience of these commands. Were he contending for the faith he would not be on such friendly terms with the propagators of Papal deceit.

If you attend a church where ecumenical activities are going on, please take heed to these words from 2 Peter 2:1-2: “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.”

The false teachers will bring destruction upon themselves. Do you want them to bring destruction upon you as well?

If you know anyone with any connection to the Church of Ireland in Enniskillen, we would earnestly encourage you to share this with them or if you know anyone whose church is engaging in ecumenical conduct, please share this with them to alert them to the danger they are being put in by ministers who are betraying their souls.

And if you are reading this and are swept up in the ecumenical folly in our land, won’t you please turn away from it and place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

Acts 16:31: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved”.

Enniskillen Church of Ireland’s Rev Kenneth Hall vows to continue compromise with Rome

The Dean of Clogher, Rev Kenneth Hall, has announced his desire to continue to betray his church’s Protestant heritage by compromising with Rome.

Rev Kenneth Hall’s appalling ecumenical conduct has previously been highlighted on ‘Protestant Revival’, as he previously held a service in St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen celebrating the ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan, a man who converted to Catholicism, became a Jesuit priest and is now in the process of being made a saint by the Pope.

Not only that, we highlighted his close association with ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, the Papist mouthpiece for Rome as they refused permission for a memorial to be placed on their land to the Protestant victims of an IRA bomb planted on Roman Catholic Church property as they gathered in Enniskillen on Remembrance Sunday.

Rev Kenneth Hall remained silent at that time, making no criticism of the Roman Catholic Church or his ecumenical pal, ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, with whom he is pictured, below.

However, Rev Kenneth Hall has not remained silent in expressing his desire to continue down the ecumenical road he is on.

In fact, in an excerpt of a sermon preached last month on his church’s website, he has stated his ambition to continue to “work tirelessly and endlessly” with “clergy from all denominations”, including, of course, Rome.

Addressing the fact that many Protestants, especially in an area like County Fermanagh which suffered so horrendously at the hands of the Roman Catholic IRA, might be unhappy with his conduct, Rev Kenneth Hall simply says that he and other betrayers of Protestantism, which is Biblical Christianity, “are perfectly capable of defending our faith”.

It is a bald assertion with no evidence to back it up, no demonstration of how he has done so and no Biblical warrant disclosed for mingling with the manifold blasphemies of Rome.

There is, however, crystal clear warrant from Scripture for steering well clear of the corrupt system of Rome.

Ephesians 5:11 says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 says: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”.

Religious separation from propagators of error, which Rome undoubtedly is, with its lie of purgatory, prayer to Mary and saints, blasphemy of the Mass and corrupt gospel of salvation by works, to name a few, is absolutely necessary.

However, Rev Kenneth Hall repeatedly and consistently refuses to do this and indeed is making a virtue of his rejection of the Bible.

Not only has he made a virtue of it, he has made a career from it as well, as he has himself attested.

Rev Kenneth Hall says: “Everywhere I have moved to since my clerical life began twenty years ago in Cookstown through my days in Dungannon, Coalisland and Stewartstown and now here in Enniskillen, I have sought to do likewise. My message has not changed…”

From the outset of his ministry, Rev Kenneth Hall says he has sought to engage in ecumenical compromise with Rome.

The root of his ministry is in disobedience to God’s Word, therefore the fruit cannot but be corrupt.

Matthew 7:15-20 says: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

Like many ecumenists, Rev Kenneth Hall uses the pretext of what is euphemistically called ‘The Troubles’ in Northern Ireland to justify his conduct.

He says: “We want bitterness and hatred and the gun and the bomb removed for ever.”

So do all right thinking people, but to think that compromising with the Papacy can bring lasting peace is a nonsense.

The architects of murder, the IRA, are now represented in the highest levels of political life in Northern Ireland through their political wing and cheerleaders to this day, Sinn Fein.

The gun and the bomb were only largely put down the back of the sofa by republicans because they got forgiveness without repentance.

Hundreds of murderous Romanists were released from prison, where they still ought to be, as part of the political deal the likes of Rev Kenneth Hall championed, and they still refuse to apologise for the murder campaign they unleashed on the Protestants of Ulster.

That is not peace, regardless of what Rev Kenneth Hall likes to say.

We are reminded of the false prophets in the time of Jeremiah who claimed all was well.

Jeremiah 6:13-14: “…and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”

While Rev Kenneth Hall renews his ecumenical vows, let us draw near to Christ and pray earnestly that ecumenists and apostates scattered through our land are removed from their pulpits or else gloriously converted by Christ.

Let us have the same vow as that faithful servant of God, Joshua, when he said in Joshua 24:15: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Church of Ireland bishop is guest of honour at Mass celebrating priest who ‘failed to prevent clerical sex abuse’

The Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit John McDowell, has attended the Romish blasphemy of the Mass being held to celebrate 60 years in the priesthood of a man who was found to have “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”.

It’s perhaps profitable to pause a moment and take that in.

A senior supposedly Protestant clergyman not only attended the central blasphemous act of Roman Catholic worship, but he compounded that grave act of treachery by attending such a Mass as one that would honour Bishop Joseph Duffy, a man who “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”.

The Mass was held on Sunday past in St Macartan’s Roman Catholic Cathedral in Monaghan town.

Is this the type of man who anyone should be celebrating, let alone a supposedly God fearing cleric?

It is also a brazen act of defiance by Rome and a slap in the face to any victims of abuse to honour such a character as this former Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher.

Right Eejit John McDowell is no stranger to consorting with Bishop Joseph Duffy, indeed we previously highlighted how the pair were joint guests of honour at a ‘community event’ in a Church of Ireland church in nearby Clones, County Monaghan.

At that time, we highlighted the highly critical report brought by the Irish National Board for Safeguarding Children.

We said at that time: “Bishop Joseph Duffy was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher until his retirement in 2010 and a damning report by the Irish National Board for Safeguarding Children later found that he “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse and did not remove suspected paedophile priests from the ministry”, a Belfast Telegraph report says.

“It also says there was “an unacceptable delay” in taking action against one priest, while it was also reported that Bishop Joseph Duffy’s delay came despite concerns being raised of a “credible allegation” in his Clogher diocese.”

It would not be unreasonable to think even an arch-ecumenist like Right Eejit John McDowell might consider it wise to take a step back from a scandal-hit Papist such as Bishop Joseph Duffy (pictured, above).

However, not a bit of it.

He has carried on regardless, determined to defy God and carry out his own religion, making his own false idols in his religion of ecumenism. He will please himself, as the idolaters of Israel in the days of Amos.

It says in Amos 4:4-5: “Come to Beth-el, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years: And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord God.”

It could be clearly said that “this liketh you”, O Bishop John McDowell.

He has continued to offer up his leavened sacrifices to God and it is a fearful thing to think that God would give him up to his apostasy, as he did with those idolaters and transgressors in the days of Amos.

Right Eejit John McDowell was certainly keeping company with idolaters and transgressors on Sunday, as, among a crowd of 500, the Catholic Diocese of Clogher website reports, there were 30 Romanist priests.

This included ‘Monsignor’ Joseph McGuinness, the Papal mouthpiece for the blocking of the erection of a memorial to 13 Protestants murdered by Roman Catholic terrorists in a bombing in Enniskillen. The bomb had been planted in Roman Catholic Church property.

As an aside, it is interesting to note the Church of Ireland Clogher Diocese website has a very clear and prominently placed link on its homepage directing you to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Clogher website. There is no such reciprocation on the Roman Catholic website. We believe that is very telling.

Back to Sunday’s service and no doubt Right Eejit John McDowell will have been delighted to be name-checked by not one, but two priests of the pagan corruption of Rome.

First to do so was the man giving the homily to Bishop Joseph Duffy, a ‘Father’ Paddy McGinn.

He said, referring to Bishop Joseph Duffy: “His work in the area of ecumenism has been outstanding and noteworthy and it is great for us to have Bishop John McDowell, Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, with us here today.”

Right Eejit John McDowell had his ego still further massaged when Bishop Joseph Duffy himself took the stage.

He said: “I especially welcome Bishop John McDowell of the Church of Ireland who is here present.”

So there you go – a special welcome from Rome to the so-called Protestant minister in attendance.

Were Right Eejit John McDowell truly preaching the gospel and earnestly contending for the faith, he wouldn’t be darkening the door of that chapel, and what’s more, the Roman Catholic Church wouldn’t let him near the place either.

The 39 Articles which are supposed to govern his church, the Church of Ireland, state that the Mass is a “blasphemous fable and dangerous deceit”.

Clearly, Right Eejit John McDowell does not believe that.

Such deceit on his behalf is strongly condemned by God. God speaks on numerous occasions of the bloodguiltiness of the preacher who neglects to shepherd the flock in the manner He has so ordained.

Such men speak only of peace, but their notion of peace is faulty for they make peace with sin, rather than imploring sinners to be at peace with God through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 59:3-4,8 says: “For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.”

This deception not only leads to the destruction of its propagator, but also of its followers.

We received correspondence some weeks back from a Church of Ireland minister who serves under Bishop John McDowell in the Diocese of Clogher.

This gentleman said, among other things, in one of the more polite messages we have received, the following: “I am not saying that I agree with everything that every clergy member in my church does but I do believe that God will be the judge if they have erred in any way and that they will have to give an account for their actions.”

He is, of course, absolutely right that God will judge and the likes of Bishop John McDowell will have to give an account for his actions.

However, Christians ought to challenge actions like these as they are such blatant departures from the Word of God. The damage is being done now, sinners are being told lies now and we must speak up now in God’s name to call out the actions of Right Eejit John McDowell for what they are – utter apostasy.

If you are involved with the Church of Ireland, we would implore you to break from clerical traitors such as Right Eejit John McDowell and separate yourself from them.

We would also encourage anyone who knows anyone in that Clogher Diocese area to share this article with them in the hope that they will “come out from among them” and instead fellowship with a Christ honouring church, not one for whom many of its leading figures glory in their links with the Romanist deceit.

Hebrews 13:13: “Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.”

Church of Ireland clerics help lead prayers to Mary to celebrate Pentecost

The jolly ecumenical relations in County Fermanagh were further developed last weekend at an ecumenical prayer service on the shores of Lower Lough Erne.

It was held at Carnagh Bay to celebrate Pentecost Sunday and was led by two ecumenical chums, the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit (though his official title is Right Reverend) John McDowell (pictured, far left of our photograph) and Roman Catholic Diocesan Administrator of Clogher, ‘Monsignor’ Joseph McGuinness (pictured, far right of our photograph).

Lest anyone forget, ‘Monsignor’ Joseph McGuinness was the Papist mouthpiece for the Roman Catholic Church disgracefully refusing victims of an IRA bomb planted on Papal property permission to place a memorial on the site of the blast which took the lives of 12 Protestants.

So of course it makes perfect sense for a so-called Protestant like the traitorous Right Eejit John McDowell to continue to cosy up with him.

There were other Protestant Lundys there as well, which should surprise nobody.

There would be no ecumenical show without the apostate Punch of Chancellor (Chancer!) Canon David Skuce, rector (or wrecker, perhaps) of Inishmacsaint Parish Church, which takes its name after the island this ecumenical prayer service was overlooking from the shores of the lough. He is pictured third from the right of our photograph at the top of this article.

Another clerical sell-out in attendance, and again another character whose disgraceful ecumenical conduct we have previously highlighted, was Rev Sampson Ajuka, rector of Boho and Devenish Parish Churches. Rev Sampson Ajuka is pictured third left in the photograph with this article.

There remains a key question, and one which we have put forward on numerous occasions at ‘Protestant Revival’, and that is – to whom were the prayers uttered at this service offered up to?

Rome blasphemously teaches of prayer to saints and to Mary, however, the Bible teaches of prayer to God alone, through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”.

Intercession is made on our behalf by Jesus, not by Mary or any other of the copious saints Rome falsely proclaims to have power to intercede on our behalf.

Hebrews 7:25: “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Indeed, a report of the event states that the ‘prayers of intercession’ were led by ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips, Parish Priest for that area. He is pictured second left in the photograph with this article. His parish includes the Church of the Immaculate Conception in the village of Monea and Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in the village of Boho, both close to where this service took place.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception was the site for a God-defying service marking the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January, at which Chancer Canon David Skuce and Rev Sampson Ajuja took part, while the same pair were up to their necks in an ecumenical Easter service which took place in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Boho.

To whom was ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips offering up his prayers of intercession? Not that God would have regarded them anyway had they been offered to Him as the prayers of ‘Father’ Jimmy McPhillips and his ilk are a blasphemy.

Right Eejit John McDowell, Chancer Canon David Skuce and Rev Sampson Ajuka are together guilty of forming what Matthew Henry called a “mongrel religion”, and that is articulated for us excellently in 2 Kings 17.

It says in verses 32-34 and verse 41: “So they feared the Lord, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. They feared the Lord, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence. Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the Lord, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the Lord commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel; So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.”

This is what such apostate characters are doing right unto this day.

They claim to be serving God but in truth they are serving man-made idols and man-ordained dogmas and precepts.

When talking about Pentecost in his message of ecumenical compromise, Right Eejit John McDowell said that God “gave us gifts and one of our vocations is to be peacemakers”.

Not one mention of 3,000 souls being wonderfully and gloriously saved in a single day and the wonderful knock-on effect that had of those new converts, ablaze for Christ, spreading the gospel abroad and many more being added to the Church of Christ.

No, instead Right Eejit John McDowell somehow, blasphemously, turns one of the greatest days in human history into a pretext for ecumenical compromise.

How shameful!

We at ‘Protestant Revival’ have faithfully sought to highlight the ecumenical compromise practiced by Chancer Canon David Skuce, Right Eejit John McDowell and Rev Sampson Ajuka and have sought to faithfully set out what God has said in His Word to demonstrate the appalling betrayal of Biblical Protestantism these men are guilty of.

While they and so many other apostate preachers are guilty of failing in their solemn duty as watchmen, we are determined, with God’s grace, not to be similarly bloodguilty, be it with any reader of this page or, indeed, of the apostate ministers we have highlighted throughout the past number of months.

Indeed Canon David Skuce has no excuse as we know for a fact he has viewed this page and indeed, accidentally (we presume) liked one of the posts on our Facebook page. It just so happened to be the next post up from the one concerning him and bearing his picture we posted a couple of days before Easter.

By persisting in his disgraceful ecumenical blasphemy despite viewing our faithful warning, he is piling up greater judgement for himself.

Chancer Canon David Skuce knows this ecumenical path he is treading is wrong, but he refuses to turn around.

James 4:17 reminds him: “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

It is bad enough to sin, but to do it consciously, knowing it is wrong, is worse still.

If Chancer Canon David Skuce will refuse to turn around, then, dear reader, if you are a part of the ecumenical movement, won’t you turn around before it is too late?

Genesis 6:3 reminds us that God’s Spirit “shall not always strive with man”. 2 Corinthians 6-2 reminds us that “behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation”.

Please do not leave it until it is too late. Come to Christ, confess your sins, ask for forgiveness and place your faith and trust in Him today.

Best of friends: Church of Ireland’s Dean Kenneth Hall and Romanist ecumenical buddy blocking memorial to IRA victims

This time last week, we at ‘Protestant Revival’ highlighted Dean of Clogher Rev Kenneth Hall hosting a service in his clerical domain, Enniskillen Church of Ireland cathedral, at which he and other traitors of Protestantism celebrated a Jesuit priest and endorsed the Romish practice of prayer to saints.

Now this week we must once again turn our attention to Dean Kenneth Hall as he remains silent in the light of the disgusting insult levelled at the community he is supposed to represent and defend by the Roman Catholic Church in Enniskillen with whom he is on such cosy terms.

The Roman Catholic Church has refused to allow a memorial to be placed on the site of where the IRA bombing of a Remembrance Day service took place in the town in 1987, murdering 11 Protestants instantly and a 12th a number of years later. Many more were injured as they gathered to pay their respects to the gallant fallen during two World Wars and other conflicts. The site where the bomb was placed just so happens to have been on Roman Catholic Church property, hence why they are able to stop the memorial being placed there.

The Romanist mouthpiece who has publicly stated his church’s opposition to the placing of this memorial to honour these unsuspecting victims of Irish republican barbarity is none other than Dean Kenneth Hall’s bosom buddy in ecumenical deceit, ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, with whom he is pictured at the top of our article.

This practitioner of Papal blasphemy was in attendance in Enniskillen Cathedral a couple of weeks ago to cheer on the Protestant fools who gathered to exalt the man Rome calls ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan.

Always eyeing up an opportunity to pretend to be concerned about Protestants, he also had his nose poked into the events marking the 30th anniversary of the Enniskillen Bombing when Dean Kenneth Hall should have been chasing him.

And on 21 June Enniskillen Church of Ireland is organising an event at which ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly will speak, alongside another allegedly Protestant reprobate, the Bishop of Clogher, Right Eejit John McDowell. It is a meeting of the ‘Cathedral Men’s LIFE Group’ at which Enniskillen Presbyterian minister, the Romanist pilgrimage loving Rev David Cupples, spoke earlier in the spring.

The double speak of the deceiver was evident when ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly spouted his weasel words in an effort to justify this disgraceful action.

The BBC reports that the emissary of Papal deceit said this slap in the face “was not about rejecting any memorial or the content of the memorial, but this particular memorial and its proposed location”.

There is a lot of Romish hand-wringing about the siting of the memorial and the St Michael’s Diocesan Trust gave the lame excuse of “health and safety”.

They said: “The sheer size of the memorial, taken together with the high volume of footfall on the public footpath in front of the [nearby] Clinton Centre, and the connected issues of access to the school at the side and rear of the building, would make the proposed location unsuitable from the point of view of the health and safety of the public.”

This is nothing but a fig leaf to cover the true reasons for their objections – the fact that Rome hates anything it sees as being connected to Protestantism, which is why it uses ecumenism to lure in gullible Protestants and thus damage the Protestant people.

They are like the enemies of King David, himself a type of Christ, who said of the like in Psalm 5:9: “For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.”

Men may say nice things but “by their fruits ye shall know them” and they are certainly bringing forth rotten fruit.

However, Rome has set itself squarely against God and we know, or ought to know, what to expect from her; it is the conduct of weak ecumenical so-called Protestants that is the real issue at play here.

We spoke of ministers remaining silent last week in reference to ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll, and once more we are presented with another “dumb dog”, as Isaiah 56 puts it, in the shape of Dean Kenneth Hall.

Has he expressed his disgust with Rome’s insult to Protestants? Of course not, his tongue has been firmly cleaving to the roof of his mouth for fear of offending his Papal pal, not that ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly is too worried about causing offence in the other direction.

This just further demonstrates the one way nature of ecumenism, the Protestant dupes give and the Romanists take.

Unfortunately this is the result of failing to separate yourself from the heathen practices of others in your land.

Prior to the children of Israel going into Canaan, God warned them not to suffer many of the heathen tribes in the land to stay there and outlined the consequences of such compromise. We, of course, are not to employ the tactics used here, but the same principle applies that we are not to compromise ourselves when we are serving the one true God.

Deuteronomy 7:2-5: “And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.”

We are then informed in Judges chapter 1 repeatedly of how the tribes of Israel failed to cast out the heathen among them.

The consequences are told us in Judges 2:1-3: “And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this? Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.”

This is what’s happening in Ulster as we speak as ecumenists mingle with Rome.

We would implore Dean Kenneth Hall to come out publicly and castigate in no uncertain terms the conduct of the Roman Catholic Church and tell ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly their chummy days of ecumenism are over.

We would implore Dean Kenneth Hall to actually subscribe in spirit, and not just with his signature, to the 39 Articles of the Anglican faith.

We would implore Dean Kenneth Hall to repent of his ecumenical compromise, call Rome out for what she is and to shepherd his flock as God would have a minister to do.

1 Samuel 2:30: “…for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”
