Former Presbyterian elder Lord Alderdice votes for baby murder as NINETEEN Anglican bishops sit on their hands

Psalm 139:13-16: “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”

Another sad chapter in the history of Northern Ireland was written this past week as ungodly abortion legislation, foisted on the people of this country against their will, was further rubber stamped by God-defying Parliamentarians at Westminster.

Sizeable majorities in both Houses of Westminster, the Commons and the Lords, voted to confirm that babies can be murdered indiscriminately in their mother’s womb up to 24 weeks of gestation.

Babies can be destroyed because of any perceived physical difficulty they may have right up to birth, including Down’s Syndrome or something as minor and easily corrected as a cleft lip, and there is no legal protection against sex-selective abortion.

Whatever way you look at it, this is a truly ghastly situation and it is hard to fathom how so many can be filled with such cruelty and inhumanity as to put their name in support of the slaughter of the unborn.

It is bad enough when those who make no claim whatsoever to any form of Christianity vote for such a wicked law, but to see those who would claim to be Christians voting in favour of it, or sitting back and failing to vote on what is literally a matter of life and death, is utterly sickening.

Yet that is exactly what former Alliance Party leader and former Presbyterian elder Lord Alderdice has done as he put his ‘aye’ to the legislation backing the indiscriminate slaughter of the children of Northern Ireland who have been considered unworthy of life by their mother.

That’s right, a man who would claim to be a Christian, voted for children to be done away with up to 24 weeks in the womb, a timeframe further on in pregnancy than many children have been reported to have survived extremely premature birth.

Lord Alderdice has also, by voting the way he has, indicated his support for murdering a child simply because they have Down’s Syndrome or even a cleft lip and has pledged his name to legislation which makes no provision to prevent sex-selective abortion.

Isn’t it utterly reprehensible?

No doubt everyone reading this will know someone with Down’s Syndrome and many of us will love someone dearly with Down’s Syndrome or some other condition which apparently makes them less worthy of life.

What do you make of a so-called Christian expressing his support for the doing away with the life of someone with this condition? What is it that makes someone with Down’s Syndrome less worthy of life in his eyes?

A young woman called Heidi Crowter has been a passionate spokesperson for those with Down’s Syndrome. She, herself, has Down’s Syndrome – how does Lord Alderdice think it makes her, and so many more like her, feel to be told her life is worth less than others? It is a vile notion.

Of course, vile notions and Lord Alderdice are not entirely divorced one from another as he supports another such vileness – that God cursed notion of homosexuality.

Indeed, it was the Presbyterian Church taking tepid actions against the facilitating of sodomy within the denomination that brought Lord Alderdice out of the woodwork and briefly back into the limelight two years ago.

The Presbyterian Church in Ireland voted, at the 2018 General Assembly, to restrict those in open same-sex relationships from full communicant membership and banned the baptism of children in the care of a same-sex couple.

Such very proper moves were all too much for the likes of Lord Alderdice, who resigned as an elder in the Presbyterian Church within a very short time of the decisions being ratified.

Never worry what the Bible has to say on the matter, Lord Alderdice’s thoughts and feelings on the matter trumped God’s inspired Word.

Some of the passages presumably redacted from Lord Alderdice’s Bible include:

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:24-27: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

Matthew 19:4-6: “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

1 Timothy 1:9-10: “Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine”.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Jude v 7: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

That is just a few of the verses which give us a very clear steer on the matter of homosexuality and that is before we even point out that nowhere in Scripture is it even considered a possibility that a same-sex relationship was proper.

At this rate, Lord Alderdice’s Bible would have more redacted passages than a Communist government document.

His former party colleague, Alliance MP for North Down, Stephen Farry also voted in favour of baby murder when the Bill passed to the House of Commons a couple of days later for final ratification.

What do the 18,358 individuals who voted for Stephen Farry last December think of their decision now? Did they realise when they cast their vote for him that he would make his mark by adding his support to the murder of children in this country?

In addition to the despicable actions of Lord Alderdice and Stephen Farry, it is also clear that the former most senior clergyman in the Church of Ireland failed to take a stand on abortion when it came to the vote in the Lords on Monday past, 15 June.

Lord Eames (pictured, above), the former Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, has been a member of the House of Lords since 1995.

As a former very senior clergyman, one would have hoped he might be keen to take a stand against such a despicable sinful law, but, such hopes were to be dashed.

It is rather bizarre as last year he was credited with co-writing a letter opposing moves by Westminster to legalise abortion in Northern Ireland.

Lord Eames managed to find the time to vote on other matters last Monday, including voting in favour of the “Extradition (Provisional Arrest) Bill [HL] – Third Reading — Amendment 2” and “Amendment 3”, whatever they were about, according to the website, ‘They Work For You’ (which you can see for yourself by clicking here), but was apparently unable to spare a few minutes to stand up for the lives of the unborn.

How that came to happen we do not know, though we are more than happy for him to contact us or issue a public statement to clarify how this came to be the case.

After all, what use is a clergyman who fails to take a stand for that which is right?

Such actions, or indeed, inactions, are akin to the “dumb dog” condemned in the prophecy of Isaiah.

We read in Isaiah 56:10: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”

Lord Eames’ vote would not have been decisive, but it is incomprehensible how he did not consider it a vitally important matter to ensure his vote was counted in the tallies opposing the planned murder of defenceless babies.

And the same can be said for 18 of the (currently 25, normally 26) so-called Lords Spiritual, Church of England bishops who sit in the House of Lords, who failed to bother to cast their vote last Monday either.

This ignoble hall of shame is occupied by Bishops David Urquhart (Birmingham), Vivienne Faull (Bristol), Stephen Cottrell (Chelmsford), Martin Warner (Chichester), Elizabeth Lane (Derby), Stephen Conway (Ely), Rachel Treweek (Gloucester), Nicholas Baines (Leeds), Christopher Lowson (Lincoln), Sarah Mullally (London, pictured, below), Christine Hardman (Newcastle), Steven Croft (Oxford), Christopher Foster (Portsmouth), James Langstaff (Rochester), Nicholas Holtam (Salisbury), Christopher Chessun (Southwark), Alan Smith (St Albans) and John Inge (Worcester).

Voting can be carried out remotely now as part of efforts to curb travel and stem the spread of coronavirus, so these bishops couldn’t even bother themselves to click a button on their computer to voice their opposition to the murder of children.

Seven bishops did vote against this wicked piece of legislation and among them was the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. We have previously criticised him, quite, properly, for his outrageous apostasy, but praise him for at least publicly expressing his opposition to this legislation.

The other six Lords Spiritual to vote against the murder of the unborn were Julian Henderson (Blackburn), James Newcome (Carlisle), Christopher Cocksworth (Coventry), Paul Butler (Durham), Donald Allister (Peterborough) and Timothy Dakin (Winchester). We commend them all for at least taking this stand for this most basic level of decency.

The matter of abortion regulations in Northern Ireland now moves to the Assembly in Belfast and let us not give up the fight.

It is indescribably wicked that children can be done away with at the drop of a hat and we must stand against such vileness.

We fear for the judgment which will come upon this land for the slaughter of the innocent and defenceless.

We need only look at the punishment meted out by God on the land of Judah for the sin of Manasseh in shedding much innocent blood, including the ritual sacrificing of children to the pagan God, Molech.

2 Kings 21:1-2,6,12,16: “Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzi-bah. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel. And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle. Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.”

2 Kings 24:1-4: “In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets. Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.”

The Lord “would not pardon” the shedding of innocent blood brought about by Manasseh.

How can we expect God’s blessing to be poured out on our land if we have clinics set up especially to murder the unborn?

Let us do all we legally can to prevent such devilish procedures taking place in our land.

Presbyterian quitter Lord Alderdice admits he’s joined Christ denying, transgender festival celebrating church

1 John 4:2-3: “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

Former Alliance Party leader and Presbyterian Church elder Lord John Alderdice (pictured, top) has revealed he has joined a Unitarian church which just a few months ago played host to a festival celebrating the utterly godless notion of transgenderism.

Lord Alderdice left the Presbyterian Church in response to the church barring openly practising sodomites full communicant membership and prohibiting the baptising of children in the care of same-sex couples.

Given the Presbyterian Church, by its own supposedly governing principles, the Westminster Confession of Faith, believes in the union of one man and one woman, it is hard to fathom how such a character as Lord Alderdice came to be an elder in the church, and indeed for some 30 years.

Speaking in the latest in the series of interviews in the Belfast Telegraph with veteran ecumenist Alf McCreary, Lord Alderdice revealed he had joined First Belfast Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church after leaving the Presbyterian Church.

He said: “For many years I had been unhappy about the direction of travel of the denomination and the decisions of the General Assembly in June 2018 were a ‘rubicon’ for me.

“I joined First Belfast Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church and attended there until we moved to England, though I still maintain my membership of First Belfast and attend from time to time when I am back in Belfast.”

This is the same church which hosted the ‘Trans Pride NI’ festival back in May, something which we highlighted and you can read about by clicking here.

Such an action really constitutes a shocking level of apostasy.

The Bible clearly outlines that the foundational principle of this world is that of male and female.

Genesis 1:27 says: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Deuteronomy 22:5 says: “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

To go against that is to go against God and to say He made a mistake when He created us.

And we can say assuredly and with joy in our hearts that “God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33).

The ‘Trans Pride NI’ festival which this church hosted featured several talks on “trans themes” while there was also a “Trans Information Exchange, featuring stands staffed by the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland), Unite the Union, Queerspace, Trans Pride NI, the civil service and the Department for Communities.”

There was also a “discussion on ‘Transphobia and Religion’” which featured speakers from the Humanist Association of Northern Ireland and a David Kerr, who is apparently a lay preacher at First Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church.

This is no surprise, however, as the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, by its very nature of being Unitarian, is in fact not a Christian church.

It is not a Christian church because it outright denies the deity of Jesus Christ, saying he is not the Son of God, despite the fact the Bible repeatedly says He is.

Matthew 17:4-5 says: “Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”

Mark 1:9-11: “And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

On two separate occasions, God spoke from heaven and called Jesus Christ His Son.

Indeed, the most famous verse in all of Scripture clearly proves Jesus was the Son of God.

John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

How anyone can form any type of ministry by ignoring this clear, crucial doctrine, is hard to fathom.

And the same can be said of how Lord Alderdice can possibly think it appropriate to join a church which denies Jesus is the Son of God.

To deny he is the Son of God is to deny the very essence of the gospel and this is what Lord Alderdice has done by formally joining First Belfast Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church.

We will remind Lord Alderdice of the Westminster Confession of Faith, which he vowed he believed and promised to uphold at his installation as an elder.

It says in Chapter 2, Paragraph 3: “In the unity of the Godhead there be three Persons of one substance, power and eternity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.”

To join as a member of a church that denies this fundamental tenet of Christianity is a shameful act.

And doing so certainly causes it to appear that Lord Alderdice cares more for his own notions and ideas than the doctrines clearly laid down by God in His Word.

In the same interview with Alf McCreary, Lord Alderdice stated he was glad that his late father, who was a Presbyterian minister, “had not lived to see what had become of the church that he had loved and to which he had devoted his life”.

Certainly any minister should be grieved to see the condition in which the Presbyterian Church is today, but that ought to be because of its apostasy.

This can be seen in its acceptance of female ministers (prohibited clearly in 1 Timothy 2:12), its toleration of characters such as the crowd-surfer and “LGBT Christian” endorser Rev John Dickinson (pictured, above), Novena Mass preacher ‘Rev’ Cheryl Meban (pictured, below, preaching at the Romanist Mass) and many others and indeed the very fact there is even a dispute over whether full communicant membership should be available to openly practising sodomites.

However, the church voting to bar communicant membership to openly practising sodomites, a lifestyle choice clearly and unequivocally condemned in the Bible, is certainly not something over which to be grieved.

Whether Lord Alderdice’s late father truly would have been distressed to see membership being barred to openly practising sodomites is a moot point as he is not here to outline his position.

But certainly what is clear is that Lord Alderdice has utterly overthrown the Word of God, refusing to be bound by its precepts.

And, as such, we will repeat what we said last year when Lord Alderdice announced his resignation from the Presbyterian Church – he will be no loss to it and indeed the Presbyterian Church can only benefit from having characters such as him firmly out of any position of responsibility.

Let’s hope and pray that all those like him will similarly be dispensed of by the Presbyterian Church.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

Presbyterian quitter Lord Alderdice endorses pro LGBT Non-Subscribing Church

Back in June, we focused on the Presbyterian Church in Ireland taking some very minor, but positive, steps with regards their acceptance of sodomy in the church.

These included barring full communicant membership to homosexuals and not permitting the baptism of children in the care of same-sex couples, as well as loosening ties with their sister church, the Church of Scotland, due to its endorsement of sodomite marriage.

As we commented at the time, this was a case where the Presbyterian Church was ambling a few yards back down the road of compromise when they should have been running a marathon back down it.

In any case, it was all too much for soppy modernists like (Lord) John Alderdice, former leader of the ecumenical Alliance Party and, until the decision by the General Assembly, an elder in the Presbyterian Church.

He resigned his position of authority in protest at the resolutions made by the church, and was very vocal in doing so, as he is, of course, entitled to do.

However, he cannot pretend that such moves are in any way compatible with the teaching of the Bible, but rather he is simply following the precepts of man.

And in a further demonstration of his utter rejection of God’s Word, on Sunday past, Lord Alderdice was the guest speaker in the sodomite ‘pride’ supporting and ‘LGBT affirming’ All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church in Belfast, which you can read about by clicking here.

This is the church which hosts an annual ‘Pride service’ on the weekend of the sodomite parade through Belfast, and which hosts an annual ‘transgender day of remembrance’, two utterly unbiblical events.

Of course, it is precisely because of Lord Alderdice’s anti-Christian views regarding sodomy that he has been invited to speak in All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church. Were Lord Alderdice in support of the Irish Presbyterian Church’s stance, he would certainly not be invited to such a haven of apostasy and most certainly wouldn’t entertain the notion of going near such.

In addition, leaving to one side its utterly disgraceful attitude to sodomy, the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church is a unitarian church, meaning it rejects the precious doctrine of the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

They deny that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God the Son, thereby they take away the Bible’s method of salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

And this is what God’s Word has to say about those who reject Christ as the Son of God.

1 John 2:22-23: “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”

John also discusses this theme in 2 John v 9: “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.”

Someone who does not believe in Christ as God the Son cannot abide in the doctrine of Christ, they have consciously rejected it, yet this is the type of church that Lord Alderdice, who until very recently had responsibility as a spiritual overseer for many souls, is fellowshipping with and choosing to endorse.

We will remind Lord Alderdice of the Westminster Confession of Faith, which he vowed he believed and promised to uphold at his installation as an elder.

It says in Chapter 2, Paragraph 3: “In the unity of the Godhead there be three Persons of one substance, power and eternity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.”

What does Lord Alderdice think of this now? Does he actually believe in the Trinity? If not, did he ever believe in it or when did he stop believing in it? If he does believe in the Trinity, then what is he doing as a special guest speaker in a church which outright rejects that very crucial doctrine?

Salvation comes through Christ. This is abundantly clear through Scripture.

Peter, addressing the Jews, said in Acts 4:10-12: “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

There is “none other name” but that of Christ which can save us from a lost eternity in hell.

When you remove Christ then you remove salvation. This is the root of the apostasy of all unitarian churches and, once that is achieved, all manner of other evils can spring forth.

The passage we refer to shows that we MUST be saved and we can do it no other way but through Jesus, therefore All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church denies the basic message of salvation.

And Lord Alderdice is giving credence to and endorsing such a blasphemous church by addressing a meeting there.

We repeat the statement we made back in June – the Presbyterian Church in Ireland can only benefit from the absence of the likes of Lord Alderdice.

Being invited to a Christ denying church which endorses sodomy shows that Lord Alderdice is prioritising backing that which is called an “abomination” in the Scripture (Leviticus 18:22) over the salvation of lost souls.

What an appalling situation.

Certainly the homosexual must be evangelised, but this is emphatically not what happens in All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, whose minister, Rev Chris Hudson (pictured, below), is a ‘transgender champion’.

This church openly endorses and “affirms” sodomy as not only acceptable but admirable. One need only scroll through their facebook page to get that message loud and clear.

In All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, homosexuality is not considered a sin.

Alas for them, the Bible says otherwise.

Romans 1:26-27: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

Hallelujah, however, salvation is available to homosexuals as is clearly outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

It says: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

The “effeminate” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” had been saved in Corinth and they can be saved in Belfast, Londonderry, Enniskillen, Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, anywhere in the world.

Let us pray for those whose sexuality diverges from God’s established plan for mankind, that they might be saved, rather than encouraging them on in their sin like the Rev Chris Hudsons and the Lord Alderdices of this world.

2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Presbyterian Church quitters like Lord Alderdice no loss to anyone

There has been much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth by hardened ecumenists and outright apostates over a few rather soft measures by the Presbyterian Church to limit the involvement of sodomites in the church, withdraw from the World Council of Churches and lessen ties with the Church of Scotland.

In truth, the Presbyterian Church has ambled about a yard down the road away from the depths it has reached when it needs to run a marathon.

But any move away from downright apostasy will always be greeted with howls of outrage from the world, especially when it involves the great cause of our day – sodomy.

This is a vile sin and unnatural, that’s what the Holy Spirit calls it in Romans 1:26. He calls it an “abomination” in Leviticus 18:22.

If you don’t like this, don’t take it up with Rev Stafford Carson, the Principal of Union Theological College, the training ground for Presbyterian ministers, and the man behind much of the doctrinal work which has provoked such apostate outrage – take it up with God.

And if you think shaking your puny fist at the Almighty will avail of anything for you, remember what we are told in Psalm 2:4: “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

As we have said previously, we ought not to despise the day of small things, but that is all the Presbyterian Church has done – small things.

They will still work alongside the apostate Church of Scotland, which has given its blessing to same-sex marriage, in areas of “mutual benefit”, whatever they are.

They are still in various ecumenical bodies, such as the Irish Council of Churches and dozens of local groupings.

They will still welcome sodomites into the church, despite this being a position whereby they are endorsing open sin in the pews.

They will retain women ministers and continue to teach them at their training college, where the supposedly hardline Rev Stafford Carson is the Principal. In fact he said this week the following: “At the present time the Presbyterian Church in Ireland ordains women to the eldership and to the ministry and that is a settled conviction of the church.”

They will still tolerate various corrupt translations of the Word of God.

They will still enthusiastically engage with what their own governing principles (supposedly), the Westminster Confession of Faith, calls “that Antichrist”, the Pope.

They will still allow despicable old apostates like Martin McGuinness’ mate Rev David Latimer, the Mary worship endorsing Rev John Stanbridge and Roman Catholic publishing house backed Rev Andrew Watson to hold their positions.

They are just three of the apostates we have written about in the Presbyterian Church on ‘Protestant Revival’ thus far.

We are sure there are more issues we could identify, but we trust we are highlighting the depths of the issues at large within the Presbyterian Church.

Despite the nonsensical protestations of Lord Alderdice (pictured, below), who has resigned as a Presbyterian elder and member over the matter, there remains a great gulf between the stance of the Presbyterian Church and the Free Presbyterian Church, which he sought to claim.

He, and others, including the previously obscure but suddenly “high profile businesswoman” (according to the Belfast Telegraph) Lesley Macaulay claim this is a matter of liberty, which is an absolute falsehood.

We will remind Lord Alderdice, a former Alliance Party leader (and what a wretched, God defying party it is), of what the Westminster Confession of Faith says.

Let’s not forget he would have vowed his agreement with what it said and promised to uphold it when he was appointed as an elder. This was clearly a lie, as we will demonstrate clearly now.

These words would also be helpful to Lesley Macaulay, whose daughter is a lesbian, who follows the time-honoured tradition of something being a sin until one of your family members does it.

Chapter 24, paragraph 1 says: “Marriage is to be between one man and one woman.”

Chapter 20, paragraph 3 says: “They who, upon pretence of Christian liberty, do practice any sin, or cherish any lust, do thereby destroy the end of Christian liberty…”

As a Presbyterian elder, Lord Alderdice would have been required to affirm his belief in the Westminster Confession of Faith in its entirety.

Either his view has changed during the years or he was dishonest from the start in order to gain higher position.

Whatever the case may be, he is an utterly inappropriate candidate for the eldership and his church can only benefit from his absence.

We are reminded in John 14:15 that if we love Christ, we will want to do what is pleasing to Him, not ourselves. It says: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

This same idea is referred to in Acts 5:29, where it says: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

God’s Word forbids gay marriage, but the likes of Lord Alderdice and Lesley Macaulay are fine with it. Who ought we to follow? We trust that is self-evident.

The only way to revival and seeing souls saved and our country transformed (and these are issues which appear to not even feature on the priority lists of the likes of Lord Alderdice and the non-entity of Lesley Macaulay) is through total faithfulness to God’s Word and a confession of sins, not wilful indulgence in still graver sin.

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Please pray, dear reader, for a mighty revival in our land, that souls may be saved in their droves and that our churches will eject the deceivers and the apostates and the ecumenists corrupting religious worship up and down this land.
