Pathetic Church of Ireland promote ‘LGBTI+ Awareness Week’

It really is difficult to imagine how much more useless the Church of Ireland can be, but they appear to have reached new heights (or plumbed new depths) of craven capitulation to the filthiness promoted by this wicked world.

The Belfast Newsletter reports that the Church of Ireland has promoted, on its social media pages, an event in one of its churches to celebrate “LGBTI+ Awareness Week”.

St Anne’s in Shandon in County Cork in the Republic of Ireland has long been at the forefront of this wicked rebellion against God, including receiving an ‘Allies for Inclusion’ award in 2019 for its determined work to promote and justify that which God Himself has called an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).

And the Church of Ireland is happily promoting this new wickedness on its social media channels, with this post from Twitter (pictured below) from 19 May clearly demonstrating such folly.

The Church of Ireland rector promoting that which God’s Word clearly decries as “vile”, “against nature” and “unseemly” (Romans 1:26-27) is Rev Paul Robinson, a former Church of England rector now keen to promote his utter rejection of God’s Word in a new country. How incredibly kind of him.

Of course, he is only continuing the wickedness which he inherited at St Anne’s in Shandon as the aforementioned ‘Allies for Inclusion’ award pre-dates his appointment.

He is merely as the dauber alluded to in Ezekiel 13:10-16, adding on to the wicked work of that builder before him.

However, that makes his judgment and condemnation no less fearsome. Ezekiel 13:15: “Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it”.

Rev Paul Robinson is quoted in the Church of Ireland website article as saying “we are delighted to be able to play our part in Cork LGBTI+ Awareness Week”.

His delight is not in the Lord, as it ought to be, but in openly and brazenly defying Him. That is very instructive.

As is often the case with such characters, he does not limit his God defiance to just one area, openly promoting the blasphemous Romanist practice of Mariolatry, as another article on the Church of Ireland website at the time of his appointment in Cork states he has previously “contributed to a number of youth pilgrimages run at Walsingham in Norfolk”. You can read a little of the history of that God-defying site here.

The other character pictured in the gleeful exhibition of disobedience to God proudly promoted at St Anne’s, Shandon is an individual called Stephen Spillane.

He is listed as being a “political activist” in the Newsletter article, though on Twitter (where in his profile bio he calls himself a “political campaigner”) he has expressed his disappointment at not being named as holding the position he does at St Anne’s, Shandon.

Stephen Spillane, who describes himself oxymoronically as “Faithfully LGBT”, is a churchwarden in St Anne’s, meaning he holds elected office within the Church of Ireland.

More than that, he is actually a member of the overall authority of the Church of Ireland, the General Synod.

That means that man flagrantly rejecting God’s Word has a vote in how the overall Church of Ireland is run.

And if you or your loved one has so far failed to separate from the Church of Ireland, that means he has a say over YOU.

He seems pretty proud of that fact as, discussing the Newsletter article on Twitter, he says: “Wait till they find out I’m on General Synod!”

Well we have been able to share this little nugget of information for him, hopefully that makes him feel a bit better.

What might not make him feel better is what the Bible has to say about the qualifications required for such a role, which is roughly equivalent to that of a committee member or deacon in other denominations.

1 Timothy 3:8-13 says: “Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

That word “grave” can also be rendered “reverent”, yet it is hard to imagine anything less reverent than the collection of “abominations” being promoted by this man in the church.

How, too, can the mystery of the faith be held “in a pure conscience” by an individual promoting that which God has called an “abomination” and identifying themselves as among those people the Bible says “shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

And then we are told the deacons ought to be “husbands of one wife”. If someone is a homosexual, they simply cannot be the husband of one wife and are therefore categorically outside the will of the Lord.

May God have mercy on us as we see our land descend into such wickedness.

For their part, the Church of Ireland did their best impression of Pontius Pilate and washed their hands of responsibility for promoting such wickedness.

The Church of Ireland press office is quoted in the Newsletter article saying: “The story in relation to the service at St Anne’s, Shandon, was shared as an item of diocesan news from the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, as has been the case in previous years, in the same way as news is shared from all dioceses on our social media channels.”

Just as it did nothing to avail Pontius Pilate, such equivocation will be of little benefit to those responsible.

Dear reader, the professing church is falling at an alarming rate and this promotion of wickedness and its toleration, indeed promotion by the Church of Ireland centrally is but a further symptom of the deep, long-standing malaise in that denomination.

They are so busy trying to promote “LGBTI+ Awareness Week”, all the while utterly and determinedly ignoring raising awareness of the plight of sinners, including those poor deluded “LGBTI+” people,  and the dreadful fate that awaits all those who reject Christ in that awful place called hell.

Acts 4:12 tells us we need to be saved. It says: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

That name is the name of Christ and we are told in God’s Word that those who come to Him He will in “no wise cast out” (John 6:37).

However, in promoting such wickedness, churches such as St Anne’s in Shandon are enlarging the wedge that exists between the ungodly and a righteous God.

Whoever you may be reading this, please don’t turn your nose up and dismiss this as some sort of prejudice or bigotry, but rather look at God’s Word and see this is the simple teaching of the Bible and, regardless of your background or circumstances, turn to God as a humble, penitent sinner and cry to Him for forgiveness from your sins.

If you do just that, then God will hear you and answer your prayer for time and for all eternity.

1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Rainbow a sign of God’s inclusion of the LGBT movement – Baptist pastor Steve Chalke

2 Peter 2:1-2: “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.”

The continued perversion of the truth of God’s Word within the professing church proceeds along its sinful path at pace, particularly on the matter of sodomy.

Sodomy is, of course, the great cause of the God-haters of our time, be they inside or outside the church, though at least if they are outside the church they can do less damage.

This is why the Bible repeatedly warns us to be wary of those who would bring in lies to the church, a call we have repeatedly made on ‘Protestant Revival’, but, alas, a call so frequently ignored.

One such Scriptural warning is that repeated at the top of this article.

We are also warned of this in Romans 16:17-18, which says: “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

Jude v 3-4 says: “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We have repeatedly called for people to follow this clear Scriptural command and indeed “earnestly contend for the faith”.

Look at the reason given for this need to contend earnestly – because of “certain men” who have “crept in unawares” who are perverting God’s Word and denying the Lord.

Promoting sodomy and claiming it is blessed of God would most assuredly fall under such a category, indeed Jude v 7 highlights how Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of their “going after strange flesh”, or sodomite practices.

Yet so many supposed ministers today seek to minimise the gravity of such ungodliness, while many try to claim it isn’t a sin at all.

These blasphemers, as 2 Peter warns, cause the “way of truth” to be “evil spoken of” and do we not see that today? Bitter is put for sweet and sweet for bitter, as we are told in Isaiah, and to take a Biblical view on matters such as sodomy is today castigated in the strongest possible terms, not just by the ungodly world around us, but by numerous so-called ministers.

And one such individual is English Baptist pastor Steve Chalke, who last week disgracefully took to Twitter to claim God gave the rainbow as a “God-given symbol of inclusion”, concluding his message with “#LGBT”.

You can see his disgraceful, Biblically illiterate, God-defiant tweet, pictured below.

Steve Chalke has been involved in the Baptist Church in England for the past 30 or so years. He describes himself as the leader of Oasis Church Waterloo in London. Oasis is a member of the Baptist Union in England, so we can only assume he remains in good standing within the Baptist Union in England and Wales.

Indeed, it is that same union, which calls itself Baptists Together, which gave the bizarre feminist character Karen Sethuraman her ‘qualification’ as a ‘minister’, prompting her to claim to be the only female Baptist minister on the island of Ireland. That her qualification is not recognised in this country seemed to be neither here nor there with her.

We highlighted recently her outrageous comments in relation to the preaching of the gospel message at funerals, saying it “disgusts” her.

If she is the type of character welcomed by Baptists Together, it is hardly a surprise that Steve Chalke, likewise, is embraced.

Steve Chalke has found himself embroiled in controversies of his own making with his heretical writings, including stating that the notion of substitutionary atonement (God giving His Son as a sacrifice for our sins, taking our rightful punishment upon Himself) was “cosmic child abuse” and stating his support for same-sex relationships and marriage.

His heresy was so bad that even the Evangelical Alliance, not known for its concern for Biblical faithfulness, revoked his organisation, The Oasis Trust’s membership, although that was because they stated that The Oasis Trust’s website didn’t provide a balanced view for and against same-sex relationships.

They didn’t, however, feel compelled to cease Steve Chalke’s organisation’s membership 10 years earlier after he denied the gospel by calling Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary “cosmic child abuse”.

A statement issued by the Evangelical Alliance in 2014 stated that the Oasis Trust’s board said they took no overall view as a body on the matter of same-sex marriage – the Bible’s clear teaching is obviously not enough for Steve Chalke and The Oasis Trust, who clearly know better.

The Evangelical Alliance stated they had requested that The Oasis Trust “equally profile the traditional Christian view” in resources on their website. Why on earth a supposedly God-honouring organisation like the Evangelical Alliance would be happy with equal space given by one of its members to the “traditional Christian view” and to the hellish deceits of the propagators of the LGBT movement is hard to fathom, but shows how weak it is.

And they said the decision to revoke The Oasis Trust’s membership ultimately came because they “could not comply with a reasonable request from (the Evangelical Alliance) council” – nothing to do with the fact they had turned Biblical truth on its head, they had breached man’s little law, breaching God’s law is much less important.

The statement read: “Having heard the concerns expressed by the Alliance’s board and council as to what has been perceived by some as a campaign to change the Church’s historic view on human sexuality, the Oasis board did clarify their position as having ‘no corporate view on this matter’.

“However, they were unwilling to fulfil the council’s request to adjust the content of their website/resources and social media output to equally profile the traditional Christian view.

“After many months of prayerful discussion, the Evangelical Alliance council concluded that a relationship between an organisation and one of its members in which the member felt it could not comply with a reasonable request from council, was not tenable.”

The only Christian view to be taken on the matter of homosexuality is that it is a violation of God’s natural order (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:18, 23-24, Matthew 19:4-6), it is a sin which particularly provokes God’s wrath (Genesis 18:20-21, Genesis 19:13, 24-25, Jude v 7), but it is a sin which God can and does forgive (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

The rainbow was most certainly not given as a symbol of inclusion of the litany of perversions under the umbrella of the LGBT (and whatever other letters these activists lump in with those four on any given day) movement.

God’s Word is crystal clear on the reason for the rainbow and any child who has ever been in a Sunday School class would be fit to tell Steve Chalke exactly what it represents.

Genesis 9:11-16: “And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.”

It really is utterly unambiguous, isn’t it?

Steve Chalke’s imagined theology, conjured up out of thin air to suit his own agenda, is as accurate as the fairytale story that a leprechaun awaits with a pot of gold at the end of each rainbow.

What a wicked seed Steve Chalke is sowing as he systematically seeks to rip the Bible in pieces and trample it underfoot.

Praise God we know that Steve Chalke will not succeed, for we know “God is not mocked” (Galatians 6:7) and that the Lord shall laugh at such a character and have him “in derision” as he shakes his puny fist against the Almighty.

Steve Chalke does, though, at this time carry a fair amount of authority, has a number of well-known published books, has extensive social media reach (over 25,000 Twitter followers), and as such we ought to warn others of his ungodly ministry.

If we also see other religious figures fellowshipping with him, we ought to be wary of them too.

At best they are showing a disturbing lack of discernment and certainly the details we have disclosed above ought to motivate us all to take nothing to do with either the Evangelical Alliance, which allowed Steve Chalke’s church to remain a member for 10 more years despite him blasphemously calling the sacrifice of Christ at Calvary “cosmic child abuse”, and the Baptist Union in England and Wales, which to this day includes his church as one of its members.

These are serious matters and ones which we ought to spread abroad and proclaim loudly, out of love for people’s souls, to steer people away from error and to the true and precious hope of the gospel, so beautifully encapsulated in one verse.

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

CFC Belfast links up with ecumenical, LGBT affirming Corrymeela

Ephesians 5:11: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

Today, more than ever, the charismatic movement offers two primary problems.

The first is the traditional problem associated with charismatism, the preoccupation with signs and wonders, things like speaking in tongues and their so-called ‘prophecy’.

The second, more recently prevalent problem is that of its growing links with the ecumenical movement.

We have seen that in the likes of the Emmanuel Church based in the Craigavon area of County Armagh, where one of its lead pastors, Alain ‘Ecumenical’ Emerson (pictured, above), glorified the founder of the anti-Christian Romanist order of the Jesuits, Ignatius of Loyola, while another of its lead pastors, Dave Wylie, called a Papist monk a “hero of church history”.

We have seen that in the likes of ‘ABBA prayer dancer’ Pete Greig, founder of 24-7 Prayer, offering his advice on gathering a crowd to the Roman Catholic Church in Austria.

We have seen that in the likes of Keith Mitchell, or Mitch (pictured, below), as he matily likes to be known, pastor of Crown Jesus Ministries in Belfast, inviting in a Roman Catholic charismatic, Ron Huntley of Divine Restoration Ministry, to speak at his church last autumn.

And it is one of Keith’s, sorry, Mitch’s pals in his charismatic pentarchy in Belfast (Crown Jesus Ministries, UT Belfast, Orangefield Presbyterian Church, Newtownbreda Baptist Church / Comedy Club and CFC Belfast) which is the latest we have discovered to have shown its ease with the ecumenical movement.

It is the latter of the five we specified which has demonstrated its disregard for the Word of God in this most important matter.

CFC (Christian Fellowship Church) Belfast has a number of campuses, as it were, with meetings taking place at CFC East, CFC Inner East, CFC South, CFC Holywood, CFC Antrim and CFC Sign Language. Its overall leader is Owen Crane (pictured, top).

The idea of having regular meetings (twice a month they meet separately and twice a month they join in with CFC East) for those with hearing difficulties is certainly a very good, and indeed thoughtful and noble one.

We want to make that very clear before we say anything else – this is a fine thing to do.

However, sadly, we have discovered that CFC Sign Language held a retreat at the ecumenical den of iniquity known as Corrymeela.

Regular readers or those who observe religious matters generally in Northern Ireland will be well aware of the nature of Corrymeela, it is the home of ecumenism in this country, set up specifically to ignore and minimise the very clear and vital differences between the Reformed Protestant and Roman Catholic faiths.

Its leader until last year was an open sodomite and Romanist, Padraig O’Tuama, and it holds each year a conference celebrating sodomy called ‘Blessed are the Brave’.

The reality of this retreat is revealed on the Corrymeela Facebook page in a post published back in February, while it appears, going by the CFC Sign Language Facebook page, that the retreat took place last October.

Corrymeela reveal this retreat took place in their Facebook post dated 11 February as they publicise a video encouraging other groups to book retreats with them.

The post says: “We’d love to welcome your group to our beautiful Ballycastle home to support you as you bring change in your lives and communities.

“In our inspiring new film, our friends from CFC Deaf Community and Lower Shankill Methodist have shared how welcomed and renewed they felt by their stay with us.”

The message then ends with a number of “hashtags”, including #change, #peace, #reconciliation, true ecumenical watchwords.

As we have said already, and cannot stress enough, for we know how those who despise this page’s witness will be eager to lay a false charge against us, we believe it is a very good thing to make church more accessible for those with hearing difficulties, but all this is doing is serving to create a positive image in the minds of more people of this ecumenical pit.

Corrymeela is a site wholly given over to religious compromise, and it is a site wholly given over to the utterly repugnant to God’s Word notion of LGBT affirmation within the church.

God pronounced His curse on this sin repeatedly through Scripture.

He called it an “abomination” in Leviticus 18:22, He called it “vile”, “against nature” and “unseemly” in Romans 1:26-27 and we are reminded of His judgment on such sin in Jude v 7.

That verse says: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

What a fearful judgment awaits the unrepentant homosexual, yet Corrymeela encourages such individuals on in their sin, calling the practitioners of that which God deplores “brave”.

We should be praying that homosexuals, like all others who know not Christ, are saved by the blood of Jesus, even as were “some” in the church of Corinth.

CFC Belfast as an organisation needs to apologise and repent for such an appalling form of compromise as this and we would urge anyone reading this familiar with any of the CFC branches mentioned above to challenge them for what is, at the very best, a ghastly error of judgment.

It also raises questions once again for the other four churches on such particularly cosy terms with CFC Belfast.

What does Mitch and Crown Jesus Ministries think of Corrymeela and LGBT affirmation?

What does Rev Gareth MacLean (minister), Gary Ball (Associate Minister) and Orangefield Presbyterian Church think of Corrymeela and LGBT affirmation?

What does UT (Ulster Temple Elim) Belfast think of Corrymeela and LGBT affirmation?

What does Pastor Trevor Ramsey (Senior Pastor, pictured, below), Pastor Tim Robinson (Community Pastor), Pastor Jonny Wright (Associate Pastor) and Newtownbreda Baptist Church think of Corrymeela and LGBT affirmation?

These are major questions as these five churches continue to be linked closely.

Of course, previous major issues we have pointed out previously have been utterly ignored and disregarded, but we are faithfully, as God leads us, doing our best to draw this to their attention and then pray God will speak to hearts and cause people to wake up and separate from the workers of compromise and deceit in our land.

You, dear reader, can do this too by contacting any of the churches above, urging them to disassociate themselves with CFC Belfast or urging CFC Belfast to publicly declare what they did was utterly contrary to Scripture and repent for it.

Do not concern yourself with whether or not your message will get through to them, but rather follow the advice God gave Ezekiel when He called Him into His service.

Ezekiel 2:5-7: “And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.”

Let us simply sow the seed and let God give the increase.

Degrees from Rome, ashes from priests and Corrymeela’s sodomite celebration – yet more rebellion against God

Psalm 12:8: “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.”

This post is a slightly unusual one as we intend to cover a few matters at once.

We have been struggling to find the time to keep the pieces coming regularly of late, though maybe the government ordered lockdown might help with that!

We plan to cover a little ground here with regards events or news items we maybe didn’t notice at the time or just didn’t get round to highlighting.

Corrymeela hosts conference for LGBT affirming faith groups and leaders

If anyone were in any doubt of the wretched nature of the God-defying Corrymeela Community, the title above would surely be enough to copper fasten such an impression.

Corrymeela has long been a hub of ecumenical deceit, but over the past decade or so it has very clearly added its endorsement of the God hating LGBT lobby to its inglorious CV.

That process would certainly have accelerated during the period when its leader, handsomely remunerated at £50,000, was open sodomite Padraig O’Tuama.

However, given this was the eighth annual holding of this event, the first one must have been held in 2013, a year before Padraig O’Tuama became leader.

The conference, held back in January is entitled ‘Blessed are the Brave’, although what is brave about open defiance of God is hard to fathom.

A description Corrymeela have made of their event in the form of a Q&A says this:

“‘LGBT affirming Faith leaders’ – what’s that?

“This retreat is for Christian faith leaders who believe that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people should rightly enjoy full membership and leadership in all aspects of society.

“We chose the term ‘faith leader’ because it is a broad term – you might lead a congregation, lead a small group, be involved as a chaplain, have faith responsibilities in your work, or be a part of a group of another group of faith-oriented people. Upon application we will ask you to outline your faith involvement.

“Is it a weekend to discuss if the bible affirms LGBT people?

“Blessed are the brave weekends are for people who read the bible in a way that affirms the lives, stories and gifts of LGBT people in faith and society.”

So there you have it, this is for people who choose to twist Scripture into something unrecognisable from reality to suit their ungodly beliefs.

It is also interesting that they choose to capitalise the words “lesbian”, “gay”, “bisexual” and “transgender” (you will notice that we most certainly haven’t) but deliberately, twice in the small excerpt we have quoted above, refused to use a capital ‘B’ for the Bible.

This shows what they think is more important, the God accursed sodomite movement.

Jude 1:7 reminds us of this when it says: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

Eternal fire awaits those within the sodomite movement and Corrymeela seeks to put a religious gloss on this awful truth to pretend it is not the case.

Everyone who organised this conference is guilty of the blood of sodomites and their so-called “allies” and so are the self-proclaimed “faith leaders” who were in attendance.

The title “faith leader” would carry a strong suggestion they have some form of spiritual oversight of others, making them just as guilty as the wicked minds behind this conference.

The current leader of the Corrymeela Community is an ordained Presbyterian minister, Rev Alex Wimberly (pictured, top).

Has the Presbyterian Church moved to remove him as a minister, thus depriving him of his ‘Reverend’ title? What do you think?

The sorry stink arising from that apostate denomination grows ever stronger and more putrid.

Presbyterian ministers to get their degree from Rome

Speaking of the Presbyterian Church, it has decided the best way forward is to move from cuddling up to Rome to officially becoming its subservient little lap dog.

After its training ground for ministers, Union Theological College (UTC), fell foul of the thought police at Queen’s University because the church moved ever so tepidly against the sodomite movement and saw their undergraduate courses ditched by Queen’s, the Presbyterian Church has been scratching around to find an alternative.

And now it thinks it has its solution – a link up with probably the most famous Romanist university in the United Kingdom, St Mary’s in Twickenham in London.

Under the planned arrangement, St Mary’s University would “validate” undergraduate degrees offered by UTC.

So trainee ministers will not be able to attain their degree without getting the seal of approval from an educational establishment set up to promote Popery.

What a sorry indication of the state of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.

For the sake of a letter or two after their ministers’ names, the largest allegedly Protestant church on this island will go cap in hand to Rome.

There will be no following of Ephesians 5:11 in this instance.

It says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

It is certainly hard to imagine a Romanist university taking too kindly to a Presbyterian minister reproving the unfruitful works of darkness which make up Rome (though it is also hard to imagine any of them doing it too volubly) when they are tied to them for their qualification.

Yet more compromise is not the answer to the Presbyterian Church’s problems.

Presbyterian minister takes ashes from Papal priest at ecumenical Ash Wednesday service

Here we have yet more wretched compromise from the Presbyterian Church with Rome.

On Ash Wednesday, a day traditionally only celebrated by Papists to mark the first day of Lent, retired Presbyterian minister Rev Ken Newell (pictured, above) continued the pattern of a lifetime by ignoring the Bible and his Protestant heritage by cuddling up with Rome.

Rev Ken Newell, along with ‘Rev’ Elizabeth Hanna, a retired Church of Ireland ‘minister’ and Rev Robin Waugh, the Methodist minister at Sydenham in East Belfast, attended the service at St Mary’s Roman Catholic chapel in Belfast.

Indeed, Rev Ken Newell delivered the sermon at this service, led by Papist priest ‘Father’ Tim Bartlett, with leading ecumenical priest ‘Father’ Martin Magill applying the ashes to the three God-defying ‘Protestant’ ministers’ foreheads.

‘Rev’ Hanna said: “I thoroughly enjoyed being here, and history has been made. It was great being a part of it.”

Rev Ken Newell said: “This will be a symbolic service of healing and reconciliation, of togetherness and not of division. It is another opportunity for the churches to walk side by side, and to move on towards a better future for everyone.”

Rev Ken Newell is a very prominent part of the ecumenical movement, his Romish compromise over many years at Fitzroy Presbyterian Church in Belfast now being carried on by Rev Steve Stockman, who runs the wretched Four Corners festival each year alongside the aforementioned ‘Father’ Martin Magill.

Rev Robin Waugh (pictured, below) seems to make a habit of ecumenical actions, blasphemously being the speaker at a novena mass at Clonard Monastery in west Belfast as part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity back in January 2018.

And ‘Rev’ Elizabeth Hanna is on record as being highly critical of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland distancing itself from the Church of Scotland over the latter’s support for sodomite marriage.

So there is a clear pattern of abandonment of the Word of God here with all three.

Jude v 3 reminds us that “ye should earnestly contend for the faith”.

Such a notion is these days, in many quarters, considered to be evidence of an absence of Christianity when it is the very opposite.

Let us not be fooled by these “certain men (and some women) crept in unawares” who serve to deny the “only Lord God” with their actions.

Rather, let us test the spirits, use spiritual discernment and shun those who serve to dishonor the cause of Christ, be it by endorsement of the sodomite movement, compromise with Rome or any other way.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

Bible comes second to popular opinion – new Archbishop of York

Hebrews 13:8: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Malachi 3:6: “For I am the LORD, I change not”.

Matthew 24:35: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

Among God’s innumerable wonderful characteristics, there is His immutability.

That is, God does not change, He is, as the first verse referenced at the top of this article states, “the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever”.

God’s Word is eternally unchangeable too, even as Jesus attested in one of the verses above.

This is reinforced in the final book of the Bible.

Revelation 22:18-19 says: “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Yet so many so-called Christian clerics seem to think they know better than God and His inspired Word.

And now we have witnessed such a man taking up the second highest position in the Church of England.

Stephen Cottrell (pictured, top) has been appointed as the new Archbishop of York, replacing the soon to be retiring John Sentamu.

And he has nailed his colours to the mast in favour of sodomy and against God and His Word.

The soon-to-be Archbishop Stephen Cottrell, who is currently merely a plain old bishop in the Chelmsford Diocese, in 2017, in an address to leaders in that diocese, stated his belief that biblical teaching on sexuality should be secondary to 21st century western beliefs.

The Christian Institute reported his despicable comments in an article on their website.

An extract from their article states: “While Bishop Cottrell did acknowledge biblical passages spoke about the issue, he said they were merely ‘part of our story and our inheritance’.

“‘But what we can do is recognise that what we know now about human development and human sexuality requires us to look again at those texts to see what they are actually saying to our situation, for what we know now is not what was known then.”

“The future Archbishop also said there was ‘no reason’ why thanksgiving prayers or a communion service could not be offered for civil partnerships.”

What a sorry state of affairs this is.

Bishop Stephen Cottrell is supposed to be proclaiming God’s truth, not attempt to subvert it or diminish it.

What is the point of Bishop Stephen Cottrell as a minister when he doesn’t even believe the Bible is relevant? He can’t consider it relevant if modern notions and fancies are superior, in his eyes, to the Word of God.

Ephesians 4:14 warns us not to be swayed by the notions of men and hints at the type of character who attempts to change church teaching even when it is at complete odds with what God has revealed to His people in His Word.

That verse says: “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”.

Bishop Stephen Cottrell is one of those lying in wait to deceive and any who falls for what he says in this most grave matter are sadly deceived.

Apparently Bishop Stephen Cottrell has acknowledged the Bible does speak of homosexuality, though he doesn’t appear keen to dwell on it as it doesn’t fit his world view.

In spite of this, we will remind him once again what the Bible has to say.

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Jude 1:7: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Romans 1:26-27: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

This is but a brief snapshot of the consistent condemnation of same-sex relationships in Scripture.

Bishop Stephen Cottrell calls them simply “part of our story and inheritance” – what does that even mean?

They are clear warnings from God, that is what they are, and Bishop Stephen Cottrell is refusing to hear those warnings and refusing to repeat them.

Indeed, he is going a step further to say they don’t apply.

Dear reader, please do not carried about with every wind of doctrine, as so many are today, by the sleight of men like Bishop Stephen Cottrell.

Rather, let us hold fast to God and His Word, never wavering in our battle for Him.

Alliance Westminster candidate rages against Bible verses being displayed in public

Psalm 2:1-4: “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

The Alliance Party is very much the party of ecumenism in Northern Ireland.

Seeking to do away with religious differences in our land, steeped in the glorious good news of the gospel, is one of its key priorities.

Increasingly in recent years it has moved in a direction so far removed from anything which could conceivably be called Christian that it is hard to imagine how any professing believer could even countenance casting a vote for them.

With their support for sodomite ‘marriage’ and apparent contentment at seeing babies murdered, or, to use the euphemistic term favoured by the world, aborted, the Alliance Party is positioning itself at the front of the rage against God in our land.

This can be seen as several of its more high-profile members are open sodomites.

This includes MLA and Westminster election candidate for South Antrim, John Blair, Westminster election candidate for Upper Bann, Eoin Tennyson and Westminster election candidate for East Londonderry, Chris McCaw. The Westminster election takes place tomorrow (Thursday).

And it is the latter of these three whose rage against God we wish to bring to a wider audience.

We have been contacted by a reader of the page who has sent us a photograph of an article which appeared in the Coleraine Chronicle newspaper, based in what would be the largest town in the East Londonderry constituency which Chris McCaw (pictured, top) is contesting.

In it, he has hit out against the lawful painting of Scripture verses on a sea defence wall close to the promenade in the seaside town of Portstewart, close to Coleraine.

The verses painted on, with the permission of the local council, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, can be seen in the aforementioned picture we received, below.

For your convenience, the verses referenced are Psalm 95:5, with the excerpt: “The sea is his, and he made it”, John 3:7, with the excerpt: “Ye must be born again” and Romans 5:8, with the excerpt: “Christ died for us”.

They are hardly very offensive verses, are they? Though of course we are reminded in 1 Peter 2:7-8 that: “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”

Those offended by God’s Word are “them which be disobedient” and, of course, to be a homosexual, as Chris McCaw, a member of that council is, is to be at odds with and demonstrate disobedience to God, who calls such an “abomination”.

Quoted in the article, Chris McCaw says: “I have the deepest respect for people of faith and they have every right to express their views publicly” (here is the honeyed words before the poison is injected).

“However (here we go), given the location of this message and the fact that it is located so prominently in a public place, I don’t think this is an appropriate way of expressing this point of view.”

The report further states that Councillor McCaw “would be contacting council officers on the appropriateness of the message”.

Alliance Party Westminster candidate Chris McCaw is further quoted, saying: “Messages on public property should be mindful that we live in a diverse society. We also need to remember this is a tourist area with people of various faiths or none visiting from all over the world.

“We should have an area welcoming to all and not have such prominent displays of one viewpoint, especially on public property.

“This will also feature prominently in any photos taken of Portstewart prom from that angle, which risks a diverse and moderate town being tied to one particular message.”

One of course wonders where this sodomite would consider an appropriate place for these Bible verses to be displayed?

Chris McCaw certainly betrays his true intentions when he says there should not be “such prominent displays of one viewpoint, especially on public property”.

So he would like to bring in regulation for private property too, then?

After all, he says, “especially” on public property, not “solely”, or “exclusively”, but rather leaves the door open for the preventing of any Scripture message being displayed in a public fashion from either public or private property.

Does Chris McCaw object to the parading of the filthy sodomite ‘Pride’ parades through the public streets of our cities, in Belfast, Londonderry and Newry? We highly doubt it.

Does Chris McCaw object to council offices and other public buildings being lit up in the colours of the ‘Pride’ movement or flying the ‘Pride’ flag from public buildings? We highly doubt it.

These are divisive issues, with many people of “various faiths or none” opposed to the insidious LGBT agenda.

But of course Chris McCaw is happy for such actions to be carried out supporting something cursed by God and which brought down His fiery judgment in times past.

Jude v 7 reminds us of this truth, saying: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

This is simply an example of an anti-God agenda being propagated by one who has chosen to live in open defiance of Him and His Word.

And this is but typical of the Alliance Party, which continually demonstrates its opposition to Bible-believing Christianity, which was once the foundation stone of our land and which is now being eroded by the ecumenical churches and this ecumenical party.

As we have stated before, this page does not take a stance in favour of any political party, but rather we stand, as God helps us, against religious error, compromise and against any who shake their puny fists against the almighty God of heaven.

However, we urge any who might even be vaguely considering voting in favour of the Alliance Party to remember that a vote for the Alliance Party is a vote against God.

Praise God that we are reminded in the passage at the top of this article that while “the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord”, we are encouraged with the sure and certain knowledge that “He that sitteth in the heaven shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision”.

Hallelujah, our God is still on the throne, He is sovereign in all things and He can turn again our land to Himself.

Let us pray earnestly to that end and that there would be a revival of true godliness and holiness in our land, that the blasphemies of Romanism, the apostasy of mainstream ‘Protestantism’, the confusion and delusion of charismatism and the godlessness of society would be turned on its head, caused to retreat, and that God would be exalted and magnified and central in our land once again.

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Pro-LGBT event in Enniskillen Church of Ireland cathedral

2 Timothy 3:13: “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

The LGBT influence in the professing church is continuing to gain ground.

One need only look at the recent deplorable situation where a man who had entered a sodomite ‘marriage’, who also happened to be a Presbyterian elder in a church in the Republic of Ireland, was thrown out of the eldership and the consternation this met with from numerous figures in the Presbyterian Church.

Indeed, virtually every day the Belfast Telegraph is replete with letters from some professing Christian or another who is most irate a man whose lifestyle choice is described by God as an “abomination” was ejected from leadership in the church.

It is ironic they have been so critical and, gasp, judgmental about individuals making this decision, when they preach a gospel of “judge not” to any who condemn homosexuality for what it is – sin.

Many have raised criticisms over the process by which the matter was handled, though this is something we are not especially concerned with, asides from the question as to why it took so long to remove Steven Smyrl from the eldership (apparently around six months from the ‘marriage’)?

Also concerning is the fact that he was apparently known to be a homosexual before his ‘marriage’, certainly by his congregation, as he had been in a same-sex relationship for 20 years and obtained a civil partnership in 2011.

Regardless, it is emblematic of the growing acceptance of sodomy within the church that such a circumstance has occurred.

And further evidence of the increasing prevalence of spokespeople for the sodomite movement in the church came on Monday night this week, when the LGBT organisation JustLOVE held what was described as an “LGBT affirming faith event” at St Macartin’s Hall in Enniskillen.

This is the church hall owned by the Church of Ireland’s St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen.

The driving force behind this JustLOVE event was none other than sodomite ‘Pride’ parading Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), who will tonight (Thursday) host in his rectory a meeting of a new LGBT group, Mid Ulster Pride.

We had been made aware of this meeting in Enniskillen prior to its taking place but knew few further details of it.

That was until we received a screenshot of the report placed by Rev Andrew Rawding on his Facebook page and we discovered the event was even more troubling than we had previously feared.

Indeed, the details of Rev Andrew Rawding’s post should be of grave concern to any Bible-believing Christian.

Not only was Rev Andrew Rawding the one behind this event, but he tells of an ordained Methodist minister in County Fermanagh called Rev Steven Foster who spoke of how he is a “gay man” and who called for churches to “provide liturgy which affirms queer people”.

It was also revealed that the Church of Ireland’s Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit (sorry, Right Reverend) John McDowell, closed “with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters”.

This is the text of the post from Rev Andrew Rawding.

It says: “Another amazing and informative JustLOVE evening with Jo McParland of Cara Friend in St Macartin’s Cathedral Hall.

“In particular we need to show so much more unconditional love and acceptance to our transgender brothers and sisters.

“Thanks to Rev Steven Foster (Methodist Church Ireland) for his honesty, talking about praying a ‘suicide prayer’ as he struggled with isolation and loneliness as a gay man in the church.

“Steven challenged and encouraged churches to love (over legalism), listen, learn, be careful about language, show leadership and provide liturgy which affirms queer (LGBTQ+) people.

“Great to have Bishop John McDowell close with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters and asking forgiveness for those times when we have not been loving.”

And, as you can see from the top of the screenshot which we have reproduced, below, Rev Andrew Rawding also ‘tagged’ Kenny Hall in his post, saying he had been with him at the event.

Kenny Hall, or Rev Kenneth Hall, is the Dean of the Clogher diocese and rector of St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen.

He is a rampant ecumenist, having previously held a service in his church in honour of a Romanist Jesuit who is en route to being ‘sainted’ by the Roman Catholic Church, as well as having vowed in a sermon at his church to continue to work “tirelessly and endlessly” with Romish priests in his pursuit of unity.

That is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his ecumenical compromise with the devilish deceits of Rome, but now he has added compromise with the utterly ungodly LGBT movement to his God-defying CV.

It would appear he was in attendance given the fact he was ‘tagged’ by Rev Andrew Rawding (otherwise that was mischief making on his part) but certainly he didn’t stand in the way of such an event taking place on his church’s property.

Indeed, reading back through the article we penned last spring detailing Dean Kenneth Hall (pictured, above) renewing his ecumenical vows, as it were, he points out that he was a minister in Coalisland and Stewartstown, exactly where Rev Andrew Rawding is currently a minister.

How neat and tidy is that?

The group Cara Friend referred to in the post by Rev Andrew Rawding is an LGBT support group, while Rev Steven Foster was, until recently, minister of Irvinestown and Pettigo Methodist Churches in Counties Fermanagh and Donegal respectively. He took up a post in Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland a few months ago.

As referred to above, he is a homosexual acting as a minister and has called on churches to “provide liturgy which affirms queer (LGBTQ+) people”.

What a sorry situation this is and what a damning indictment of the state of the Methodist Church in Ireland today.

Right Eejit John McDowell (pictured, below) was also along to sow his seeds of compromise.

Like Dean Kenneth Hall, he is a rampant ecumenist and has now added caving in to the LGBT agenda to his list of God-defiance as well.

Last year on Remembrance Sunday, Right Eejit John McDowell disgracefully preached from the Apocrypha in the supposedly Protestant St Macartin’s Cathedral, while he was also a guest of honour alongside the former Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher, Joseph Duffy, a man found to have “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”, at a Church of Ireland service in County Monaghan.

So it is perhaps not surprising to see this continued degeneration – one compromise tends to lead to another.

And yet in all this there is still cause for the believer to marvel at the gracious mercy of our Heavenly Father.

These individuals have obtained positions of seniority and respect, and little doubt they are at least financially comfortable, and this is a sign of God’s patience with those who disobey Him, as He bears their sin for a long time, giving them the chance to see the error of their way and come to Him in repentance.

Such mercy is referred to in Isaiah 26:10-11, which says: “Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.”

However, as we can see, it will be reckoned with at last, and we can also rejoice in God’s justice while praying that He will not need to bring down His judgment on those who disobey Him and that instead there will be repentance.

The issue of sodomy is one which is really crystal clear to any who takes even a slightly honest or scarcely cursory view of Scripture, yet so many are deceiving and being deceived in this sinful day.

Numerous Bible passages deal with the issue.

These include, but are certainly not limited to:

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:26-27: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? That is certainly not to say we are not to look upon those who fall under the man-made classification of LGBT with concern for their souls or care for their spiritual wellbeing, but we cannot wink at sin, we cannot sit idly by and let sin be endorsed and praised as noble, brave, honest or admirable.

We live in days as those spoken of in Isaiah 5:20, which says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

However, let us not be silent or reluctant in still declaring that which is evil still to be evil and that which is bitter still to be bitter.

Let us not sacrifice the goodness of God’s Word to protect the temporary feelings of the unconverted.

Psalm 119:103-104: “How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.”

A sop to sodomy – Church of Ireland minister ‘apologises’ to ungodly LGBT movement at ‘Pride’

As madness continues to descend over the professing church, it can be of little surprise to see yet another supposed preacher of God’s infallible truth show his support for the sodomite cause.

Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), the rector of a grouped parish consisting of Holy Trinity Church, Brackaville, St Patrick’s Church, Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Church, Donaghendry, which appears to be located in the Coalisland and Stewartstown areas of County Tyrone, held up a banner at the Belfast ‘Pride’ parade saying: “We are sorry for how the church mistreated LGBTQ+ people”.

The banner is pictured below.

This is a truly shameful additional factor within the context of a wretched day for Belfast and indeed all of Northern Ireland.

For a supposed minister of the gospel to express regret that the church in bygone days held a Scriptural view in relation to sodomy is a disgraceful thing.

Though we have on many occasions stressed the Scriptural position on these matters, we will do so again.

Leviticus 18:22 says: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:24-27 says: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

This is but a few of the numerous (contrary to the lies of the Bible-deniers) passages which clearly prohibit and condemn same-sex relationships.

However, Rev Andrew Rawding clearly knows better than God as he walked under the ‘Christians at Pride’ banner, a group which says its aim is to “celebrate God-given diversity”.

God does not create sin, corrupt man does.

Let us see the foundational principle of this world.

Genesis 1:27-28, 31: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

God “blessed” men and women and told them to “be fruitful and multiply”. Two people of the same gender simply cannot be fruitful and multiply.

Jesus in Matthew 19 reiterated the creation principle of one man and one woman in a relationship together.

Matthew 19:4-5 says: “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?”

The likes of Rev Andrew Rawding would love us to think Jesus made no comment in relation to same-sex relationships, which bizarrely is taken to mean he would be in favour of them. Jesus, to the best of our knowledge, never specifically mentioned bestiality. Does that mean He was in favour of it or at least indifferent to it? The very thought is repugnant.

Jesus, of course, clearly here outlines the natural God-ordained order which so many alleged Christians and others are trying to distort and destroy.

Rev Andrew Rawding may be choosing to say sorry to those who live in open defiance of God’s Word, but he would be far better repenting of this sinful decision and saying sorry to God.

This is, sadly, a case of choosing to please men rather than God.

His attitude stands in stark contrast to that of the Apostles.

Acts 5:27-29 says: “And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Speaking in relation to his ungodly actions, Rev Andrew Rawding said: “From a pastoral point of view with responsibility to be sharing positive messages of God’s love for everyone, I really feel very, very strongly that I need to stand up and make a stand as a clergy person,” he said.

Rev Andrew Rawding has no “responsibility to be sharing positive message of God’s love for everyone”, he has a responsibility to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

That gospel is of the saving power of Jesus Christ freely offered and available through the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary, which we can have simply by placing our faith in Christ alone and repenting of our sins.

Any minister who fails to do that is not worthy of the role he is occupying.

Ezekiel 33:2-6: “Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

There will be blood on the hands of any minister who fails to proclaim the truth of the Bible and instead spread their own notions and fancies as if they were the gospel.

What a fearsome day of reckoning is coming for all such ministers and the poor, deluded souls they are leading to hell.

Dear reader, please do not allow some Bible-rejecting minister to usher you down the path to destruction, but rather won’t you turn to Jesus for salvation?

With all this talk of ‘Pride’ being so prevalent at this time, let us not glory in sin or debauchery, but rather let us rejoice and glory in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and make Him our cause for celebration.

Galatians 6:14: “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”

Rev Andrew Rawding marches in another sodomite ‘Pride’ parade – will Church of Ireland leadership do anything about it?

Proverbs 24:11-12: “If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

There is an old saying which touches on the theme of the verses above – that of God’s reproof if we fail to warn those headed for destruction of the danger they are in.

It has been attributed to many different characters, but it is simply that “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.

And certainly what we are seeing in this day and age is a deepening of the departure from God, coupled by an increasing and perplexing amount of elective mutism – just when a voice is needed to be raised against the apostasy all around us, everyone appears to be silent.

Do we hear fearless and uncompromising voices such as those of Rev Ian Paisley or CH Spurgeon in our day?

Sad to say, there appears to be a dearth of ministers willing to take a voluble public stand against sin.

And it would appear, sadly, that continued God-defiance by Church of Ireland rector Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top) has gone totally unnoticed and certainly unrestricted by the hierarchy of his church.

Rev Andrew Rawding, as we highlighted a few weeks ago, took it upon himself to “apologise” on behalf of “the church” for how it has allegedly “mistreated” sodomites and transgender people.

It was certainly a rather presumptuous move to make for someone who has hitherto been a fairly obscure Church of Ireland minister from Coalisland in County Tyrone.

Rev Andrew Rawding made this arrogant “apology” (pictured, above) at the sodomite ‘Pride’ parade in Belfast and he took his clerical compromise show on the road again last weekend by “apologising” to those acting in open rebellion against God at the Foyle ‘Pride’ celebration in Londonderry.

He proudly paraded his rejection of the Biblical prohibition of same-sex relationships on his Facebook page and in the Belfast Telegraph.

It certainly is interesting that the sodomite movement has opted to use the term ‘Pride’ as the slogan for the public expression of their unbiblical lobby, given that pride is comprehensively condemned throughout Scripture.

Here are just a few examples.

Proverbs 16:18: “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

1 John 2:16: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

Daniel 4:37: “Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.”

That closing part of the last of the three verses could be written for the sodomite movement – “those that walk in pride he is able to abase”.

What a great comfort it is to know that the Almighty God of heaven, “whose works are truth, and his ways judgment” (there’s a word the Bible rejecting ‘Christians’ hate), is able to bring down those who exalt themselves against Him.

While spiritual leaders may forsake their responsibilities and fail to speak out against departure from His Word, we can be sure that God, whose ways are judgment, will not allow sin to go unchecked forever.

However, this does not absolve those who fail to take a stand for Him.

Even though a turn of events is all part of God’s plan, the guilt of the guilty is not mitigated by this.

This is a simple God-ordained principle, spoken from the mouth of the Saviour.

Matthew 18:7: “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!”

So there really is no fig leaf, no excuse for Rev Andrew Rawding to offer on the day of judgment for his betrayal of God’s Word in lining up with His enemies.

And the same can be said for those occupying the highest positions within the Church of Ireland Diocese of Armagh, which Rev Andrew Rawding’s churches, Holy Trinity Church, Brackaville, St Patrick’s Church, Ballyclog and St Patrick’s Church, Donaghendry, fall under.

At the very top of the pile in the Armagh Diocese is the most senior Church of Ireland minister in the country, the Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, Most Reverend Richard Clarke (pictured, below).

This is an individual whose own open defiance of God’s Word in relation to his shabby ecumenical compromise with the pagan religion of Rome we have previously highlighted.

Such is his rejection of the Biblical call to separation, he has rightly earned the moniker of Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke.

He has achieved this ignoble distinction by actions such as writing a letter to the Pope begging him to visit Northern Ireland, marking St Patrick’s Day last year in his clerical domain of Armagh city by bringing his parishioners into Rome’s clutches and earlier this year he was the guest speaker at the ecumenical Causeway Coast Peace Group’s 17th anniversary service, held in a Romanist chapel in Ballycastle, County Antrim.

Given his Bible rejecting credentials in this matter, his steadfast refusal to “earnestly contend for the faith” (Jude v 3), it is perhaps unsurprising he has allowed such open rebellion to take place under his watch.

However, as we have said, this is not an excuse or justification for his inaction.

It is not just Most Ecumenical Richard Clarke who has apparently failed to address this outrageous conduct of Rev Andrew Rawding, there are others in high ranking positions who have been silent in the face of such rebellion against God.

The Archdeacon of Armagh, according to the Armagh Diocese’s website, is the Venerable Rev Terry Scott (pictured, below), minister of St Swithin’s Parish Church in Magherafelt, County Londonderry.

What has Venerable Rev Terry Scott got to say on the matter?

Archdeacons hold a fair deal of sway, yet it would seem he, too, has opted to employ elective mutism in the face of Rev Andrew Rawding’s rejection of God’s Word.

According to the clergy list in the diocese on their own website, there is one other minister who has risen to the rank of ‘Venerable’.

That is the Venerable Rev Andrew Forster. He apparently holds the title of Archdeacon of Ardboe, a small village on the shores of Lough Neagh.

What roles or responsibilities come with this title we have no idea, but it would appear he holds rank within the Diocese of Armagh.

Rev Andrew Forster is also the minister of St Anne’s Parish Church in Dungannon, County Tyrone.

Another high ranking clergyman within the diocese is the Dean of Armagh, Very Rev Gregory Dunstan (pictured, below).

He has previously featured on ‘Protestant Revival’ due to his ecumenical compromise, which included his salivating at the prospect of a Romanist monk being appointed as an ecumenical canon at St Patrick’s Church of Ireland cathedral in Armagh and his preaching at a dreadful week of meetings in St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast which was also addressed by a Jesuit priest.

It is hard to imagine a determined ecumenist speaking out against a different form of Bible rejection, and it would appear he, too, has remained silent in the face of Rev Andrew Rawding’s conduct.

Two further clergymen who are members of the Chapter of Armagh Cathedral are worthy of mention here, as they hold the roles of Precentor and Chancellor respectively.

They are Canon Norman Porteus and Canon Andrew Dawson (although the Armagh Diocese website’s clergy list calls him Canon Drew Dawson), both of Derryloran Parish Church in Cookstown, County Tyrone.

All of these men occupy positions where they could apply pressure for action to be taken or take the action directly themselves, but instead Rev Andrew Rawding carries on unchecked in his defiance against God.

What a sad situation this is.

Of course, there could be discussions going on behind the scenes, perhaps some disagree with Rev Andrew Rawding’s actions, but who among them has spoken out against it publicly? None, as far as we can see.

Every member of the clergy in the diocese has a responsibility as well to speak out, not just these individuals in lofty positions.

After all, what use is a watchman that does not sound the alarm or a dog that does not bark to warn of danger?

God takes a very low view of such.

Isaiah 56:10-11: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.”

What a fierce condemnation there is for those who fail to take their stand for him.

Will you remain silent as well, dear reader?

Acts 20:26-30: “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

Anglican Cathedral in Newcastle hosts LGBT festival focusing on ‘queering the church’

Habakkuk 2:5: “… he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people”.

The headline above is surely enough proof, were any needed, that the Church of England is emphatically an utterly apostate church.

Bad enough ministers refusing to speak out against the “vile” sin of sodomy (Romans 1:26), worse still when they support it, but how truly repugnant it is in the light of God’s Word to see churches actively promoting and celebrating that which God has called an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).

Yet that is what we are seeing as the north eastern English city of Newcastle gets set to host an LGBT festival in its cathedral.

This outrageous, rank apostasy is to be held in the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas in that city from this Friday, 19th to Sunday, 21st July.

A total of six different events will be held within it to coincide with the sodomite ‘Pride’ celebrations being held there this weekend.

Among these events is a panel discussion called ‘Queering the church: beyond tolerance to inclusion’.

That’s a pretty unambiguous title, isn’t it?

The panellists taking part are also rather noteworthy.

They include a ‘Rev’ Bingo Allison (pictured, top), who apparently defines themself as a “nonbinary, genderqueer transgender” person. Answers on a postcard if anyone knows what that actually means.

This individual is apparently an ordained deacon in the Church of England and a curate to The Order of the Black Sheep in Chesterfield, in Derbyshire in England, a rather bizarre, liberal “Christian community”.

It also currently has positioned on its website’s home page a picture captioned with “Curate on tour at London Pride yesterday”.

The photograph shows ‘Rev’ Bingo Allison in the middle holding a banner bearing the slogan, “Queer Christian Collective”. ‘Rev’ Bingo Allison is wearing a t-shirt saying “Christians at Pride” with a clerical collar fixed to it. Also on this ungodly panel is Isabel Hill, who is the founder of ‘Proud Catholics’, which is apparently a “local support group for LGBT+ fellowship and spiritual growth within the Catholic Church”, showing it is not just apostate Protestant churches being blighted by such Bible rejection.

The other two speakers are Karen Pollock, “a counsellor, queer Christian and Diversity and Inclusion Manager for Bi Pride UK” and Dr Rae Caro (pictured, below), a curate at St Martin’s and St Anthony’s in Byker, which appears to be in the Newcastle area. She is “bisexual and has been involved in LGBTI+ activism since 2007”.

As well as it being outrageous that such an event could be taking place in a church setting involving such people who claim to be Christians, it is also profoundly sad that any section of the professing church has sunk so low.

The panel discussion event, which takes place this Sunday, has its main aim of the church moving “from tolerance to inclusion”.

While it sounds like what they term “queering the church” seems to be progressing at pace, it doesn’t seem to be fast enough for these individuals.

The verse from Habakkuk we quoted at the top of this article refers to the insatiable desire of Nebuchadnezzar to conquer more and more nations in his unquenchable thirst for more power and earthly glory.

It is said “he neither keepeth at home”, he “enlargeth his desire as hell” and “cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people”.

Is not this same all-conquering desire to bring all into submission of the rigid dogma of the LGBT movement at work here?

Nothing is ever enough for the sodomite agenda to be satisfied.

Civil partnerships for those living in relationships God calls an “abomination” were created in all parts of the UK, including Northern Ireland, in 2005.

Was that enough? Of course not.

In 2013 the decision was made to cave into this ungodly agenda and introduce sodomite ‘marriage’ in England, Scotland and Wales.

Since that day, attention has turned to having the same grievous sin imposed on Northern Ireland, with constant ferocious attacks on any in this land who dare speak out against it.

When the Republic of Ireland voted to legislate for sodomite ‘marriage’, the banners were on display in Dublin saying Northern Ireland was next.

Nothing is ever enough until full submission to the sodomite agenda is achieved.

They are clearly seeking to gather unto them all nations.

And they are seeking to heap unto them all people.

Nobody dare speak out publicly against sodomy for fear of losing employment, for fear of losing any prospect of progression in their chosen occupation, for fear of being hounded publicly and privately for daring to differ or dissent from the true religion of modern Britain, the worship of the LGBT agenda.

The same is at large within many churches.

At one time it would have been unthinkable for an open sodomite to be allowed to be a member of a church, these days they are leading them.

The American Episcopal Church, a sister church of the Church of England, has just appointed another open sodomite as a bishop.

Even within our churches in Ulster, there is a very obvious trend towards sodomite affirmation.

You have groups like the utterly Christ-rejecting Harbour Faith Community in Carrickfergus, priding itself on being “LGBT affirming”.

You have so-called ministers such as ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll, who was the special guest speaker at the 25th anniversary event of a transgender grouping called the ‘Belfast Butterfly Club’.

She “congratulated the club on its 25 years of transgender support charity work across Northern Ireland”, according to the ‘Belfast Butterfly Club’ website. She is pictured on the right of the image below with a leading member of that transgender group.

Then there is Carnmoney Presbyterian Church minister Rev John Dickinson, who endorsed so-called “gay Christian” and self-professed LGBT campaigner Vicky Beeching, and who also outrageously claimed the Presbyterian Church should apologise for barring full membership to sodomites.

We have also just seen the Methodist Church in Britain vote by 5 to 1 in favour of holding sodomite ‘marriages’ within the church. That church has several sodomite ministers.

The Quakers throughout Britain and Ireland have voted to hold sodomite ‘marriages’ in their meeting houses.

We could continue but trust it is clear to see that the professing church in many places has utterly caved into sodomy.

This instance in Newcastle is particularly blatant and outrageous.

In addition to the “queering the church” discussion panel, there is also a communion service with an LGBT emphasis, an LGBT history telling event and those at the festival will join in with the sodomite ‘Pride’ march through the city.

These details were revealed by the Christian Institute website, whose Director, Colin Hart, makes a very good point.

He said: “The message of the Gospel is that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Instead of repenting of sin, this festival celebrates it.”

Such rejoicing in iniquity is spoken of in the opening chapter of Romans.

One of the most definitive passages in Scripture rejecting homosexuality and condemning it as sinful, Romans 1:22-32 says: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

That last line speaks of those who “have pleasure” in those who commit such grave sins, they promote and celebrate the sins of others.

And that is a major part of the LGBT movement and those who are helping to drive this celebration of sin.

Even as this wicked sin continues to be exalted by those who hate Christ, let us not be afraid to take our stand for Him and to speak out against the promotion of that which His Word condemns.

Let us be as noisy in our response to this wickedness as the sodomites and their promoters are in support of it.

Let us not be found silent or found wanting in this day and generation in which we have been called to live.

Surely the progress of such evil causes grieves our hearts, surely it merits our wholehearted opposition, not just our quiet sighs and complaints in company where we know it is safe to do so.

Even so, let us be even as Isaiah was in his willingness to serve the Lord and say, “Here am I” and be ready to cry aloud against that which is offensive and grievous to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Let us not bear the condemnation of the spiritual leaders in the day of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 13:5: “Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord.”

There is a battle going on right now, the armies of the LGBT movement are seemingly sweeping all before them.

Will you take your stand for Christ, cling fast to His Word and refuse to allow the LGBT movement to conquer and pray for a mighty revival in our land?

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
