Pro-LGBT event in Enniskillen Church of Ireland cathedral

2 Timothy 3:13: “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

The LGBT influence in the professing church is continuing to gain ground.

One need only look at the recent deplorable situation where a man who had entered a sodomite ‘marriage’, who also happened to be a Presbyterian elder in a church in the Republic of Ireland, was thrown out of the eldership and the consternation this met with from numerous figures in the Presbyterian Church.

Indeed, virtually every day the Belfast Telegraph is replete with letters from some professing Christian or another who is most irate a man whose lifestyle choice is described by God as an “abomination” was ejected from leadership in the church.

It is ironic they have been so critical and, gasp, judgmental about individuals making this decision, when they preach a gospel of “judge not” to any who condemn homosexuality for what it is – sin.

Many have raised criticisms over the process by which the matter was handled, though this is something we are not especially concerned with, asides from the question as to why it took so long to remove Steven Smyrl from the eldership (apparently around six months from the ‘marriage’)?

Also concerning is the fact that he was apparently known to be a homosexual before his ‘marriage’, certainly by his congregation, as he had been in a same-sex relationship for 20 years and obtained a civil partnership in 2011.

Regardless, it is emblematic of the growing acceptance of sodomy within the church that such a circumstance has occurred.

And further evidence of the increasing prevalence of spokespeople for the sodomite movement in the church came on Monday night this week, when the LGBT organisation JustLOVE held what was described as an “LGBT affirming faith event” at St Macartin’s Hall in Enniskillen.

This is the church hall owned by the Church of Ireland’s St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen.

The driving force behind this JustLOVE event was none other than sodomite ‘Pride’ parading Rev Andrew Rawding (pictured, top), who will tonight (Thursday) host in his rectory a meeting of a new LGBT group, Mid Ulster Pride.

We had been made aware of this meeting in Enniskillen prior to its taking place but knew few further details of it.

That was until we received a screenshot of the report placed by Rev Andrew Rawding on his Facebook page and we discovered the event was even more troubling than we had previously feared.

Indeed, the details of Rev Andrew Rawding’s post should be of grave concern to any Bible-believing Christian.

Not only was Rev Andrew Rawding the one behind this event, but he tells of an ordained Methodist minister in County Fermanagh called Rev Steven Foster who spoke of how he is a “gay man” and who called for churches to “provide liturgy which affirms queer people”.

It was also revealed that the Church of Ireland’s Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit (sorry, Right Reverend) John McDowell, closed “with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters”.

This is the text of the post from Rev Andrew Rawding.

It says: “Another amazing and informative JustLOVE evening with Jo McParland of Cara Friend in St Macartin’s Cathedral Hall.

“In particular we need to show so much more unconditional love and acceptance to our transgender brothers and sisters.

“Thanks to Rev Steven Foster (Methodist Church Ireland) for his honesty, talking about praying a ‘suicide prayer’ as he struggled with isolation and loneliness as a gay man in the church.

“Steven challenged and encouraged churches to love (over legalism), listen, learn, be careful about language, show leadership and provide liturgy which affirms queer (LGBTQ+) people.

“Great to have Bishop John McDowell close with a prayer of love for our queer brothers and sisters and asking forgiveness for those times when we have not been loving.”

And, as you can see from the top of the screenshot which we have reproduced, below, Rev Andrew Rawding also ‘tagged’ Kenny Hall in his post, saying he had been with him at the event.

Kenny Hall, or Rev Kenneth Hall, is the Dean of the Clogher diocese and rector of St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen.

He is a rampant ecumenist, having previously held a service in his church in honour of a Romanist Jesuit who is en route to being ‘sainted’ by the Roman Catholic Church, as well as having vowed in a sermon at his church to continue to work “tirelessly and endlessly” with Romish priests in his pursuit of unity.

That is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his ecumenical compromise with the devilish deceits of Rome, but now he has added compromise with the utterly ungodly LGBT movement to his God-defying CV.

It would appear he was in attendance given the fact he was ‘tagged’ by Rev Andrew Rawding (otherwise that was mischief making on his part) but certainly he didn’t stand in the way of such an event taking place on his church’s property.

Indeed, reading back through the article we penned last spring detailing Dean Kenneth Hall (pictured, above) renewing his ecumenical vows, as it were, he points out that he was a minister in Coalisland and Stewartstown, exactly where Rev Andrew Rawding is currently a minister.

How neat and tidy is that?

The group Cara Friend referred to in the post by Rev Andrew Rawding is an LGBT support group, while Rev Steven Foster was, until recently, minister of Irvinestown and Pettigo Methodist Churches in Counties Fermanagh and Donegal respectively. He took up a post in Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland a few months ago.

As referred to above, he is a homosexual acting as a minister and has called on churches to “provide liturgy which affirms queer (LGBTQ+) people”.

What a sorry situation this is and what a damning indictment of the state of the Methodist Church in Ireland today.

Right Eejit John McDowell (pictured, below) was also along to sow his seeds of compromise.

Like Dean Kenneth Hall, he is a rampant ecumenist and has now added caving in to the LGBT agenda to his list of God-defiance as well.

Last year on Remembrance Sunday, Right Eejit John McDowell disgracefully preached from the Apocrypha in the supposedly Protestant St Macartin’s Cathedral, while he was also a guest of honour alongside the former Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher, Joseph Duffy, a man found to have “failed to prevent clerical sex abuse”, at a Church of Ireland service in County Monaghan.

So it is perhaps not surprising to see this continued degeneration – one compromise tends to lead to another.

And yet in all this there is still cause for the believer to marvel at the gracious mercy of our Heavenly Father.

These individuals have obtained positions of seniority and respect, and little doubt they are at least financially comfortable, and this is a sign of God’s patience with those who disobey Him, as He bears their sin for a long time, giving them the chance to see the error of their way and come to Him in repentance.

Such mercy is referred to in Isaiah 26:10-11, which says: “Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.”

However, as we can see, it will be reckoned with at last, and we can also rejoice in God’s justice while praying that He will not need to bring down His judgment on those who disobey Him and that instead there will be repentance.

The issue of sodomy is one which is really crystal clear to any who takes even a slightly honest or scarcely cursory view of Scripture, yet so many are deceiving and being deceived in this sinful day.

Numerous Bible passages deal with the issue.

These include, but are certainly not limited to:

Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Romans 1:26-27: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

That is certainly not to say we are not to look upon those who fall under the man-made classification of LGBT with concern for their souls or care for their spiritual wellbeing, but we cannot wink at sin, we cannot sit idly by and let sin be endorsed and praised as noble, brave, honest or admirable.

We live in days as those spoken of in Isaiah 5:20, which says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

However, let us not be silent or reluctant in still declaring that which is evil still to be evil and that which is bitter still to be bitter.

Let us not sacrifice the goodness of God’s Word to protect the temporary feelings of the unconverted.

Psalm 119:103-104: “How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.”

Enniskillen Church of Ireland’s Rev Kenneth Hall vows to continue compromise with Rome

The Dean of Clogher, Rev Kenneth Hall, has announced his desire to continue to betray his church’s Protestant heritage by compromising with Rome.

Rev Kenneth Hall’s appalling ecumenical conduct has previously been highlighted on ‘Protestant Revival’, as he previously held a service in St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen celebrating the ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan, a man who converted to Catholicism, became a Jesuit priest and is now in the process of being made a saint by the Pope.

Not only that, we highlighted his close association with ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, the Papist mouthpiece for Rome as they refused permission for a memorial to be placed on their land to the Protestant victims of an IRA bomb planted on Roman Catholic Church property as they gathered in Enniskillen on Remembrance Sunday.

Rev Kenneth Hall remained silent at that time, making no criticism of the Roman Catholic Church or his ecumenical pal, ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, with whom he is pictured, below.

However, Rev Kenneth Hall has not remained silent in expressing his desire to continue down the ecumenical road he is on.

In fact, in an excerpt of a sermon preached last month on his church’s website, he has stated his ambition to continue to “work tirelessly and endlessly” with “clergy from all denominations”, including, of course, Rome.

Addressing the fact that many Protestants, especially in an area like County Fermanagh which suffered so horrendously at the hands of the Roman Catholic IRA, might be unhappy with his conduct, Rev Kenneth Hall simply says that he and other betrayers of Protestantism, which is Biblical Christianity, “are perfectly capable of defending our faith”.

It is a bald assertion with no evidence to back it up, no demonstration of how he has done so and no Biblical warrant disclosed for mingling with the manifold blasphemies of Rome.

There is, however, crystal clear warrant from Scripture for steering well clear of the corrupt system of Rome.

Ephesians 5:11 says: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 says: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”.

Religious separation from propagators of error, which Rome undoubtedly is, with its lie of purgatory, prayer to Mary and saints, blasphemy of the Mass and corrupt gospel of salvation by works, to name a few, is absolutely necessary.

However, Rev Kenneth Hall repeatedly and consistently refuses to do this and indeed is making a virtue of his rejection of the Bible.

Not only has he made a virtue of it, he has made a career from it as well, as he has himself attested.

Rev Kenneth Hall says: “Everywhere I have moved to since my clerical life began twenty years ago in Cookstown through my days in Dungannon, Coalisland and Stewartstown and now here in Enniskillen, I have sought to do likewise. My message has not changed…”

From the outset of his ministry, Rev Kenneth Hall says he has sought to engage in ecumenical compromise with Rome.

The root of his ministry is in disobedience to God’s Word, therefore the fruit cannot but be corrupt.

Matthew 7:15-20 says: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

Like many ecumenists, Rev Kenneth Hall uses the pretext of what is euphemistically called ‘The Troubles’ in Northern Ireland to justify his conduct.

He says: “We want bitterness and hatred and the gun and the bomb removed for ever.”

So do all right thinking people, but to think that compromising with the Papacy can bring lasting peace is a nonsense.

The architects of murder, the IRA, are now represented in the highest levels of political life in Northern Ireland through their political wing and cheerleaders to this day, Sinn Fein.

The gun and the bomb were only largely put down the back of the sofa by republicans because they got forgiveness without repentance.

Hundreds of murderous Romanists were released from prison, where they still ought to be, as part of the political deal the likes of Rev Kenneth Hall championed, and they still refuse to apologise for the murder campaign they unleashed on the Protestants of Ulster.

That is not peace, regardless of what Rev Kenneth Hall likes to say.

We are reminded of the false prophets in the time of Jeremiah who claimed all was well.

Jeremiah 6:13-14: “…and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”

While Rev Kenneth Hall renews his ecumenical vows, let us draw near to Christ and pray earnestly that ecumenists and apostates scattered through our land are removed from their pulpits or else gloriously converted by Christ.

Let us have the same vow as that faithful servant of God, Joshua, when he said in Joshua 24:15: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Enniskillen Church of Ireland service celebrates Jesuit priest and endorses prayer to saints

The Church of Ireland in Enniskillen has given its seal of approval to Rome’s corrupt system of saints, to whom Rome teaches you should pray, by holding a service celebrating a man the Roman Catholic Church is in the process of making a saint.

‘Blessed’ John Sullivan was born into the Church of Ireland in Enniskillen but in his adult years, foolishly converted to Rome, eventually joining the Society of Jesus, or Jesuits. For those who are not overly familiar with the process of Romanist canonisation, and we hope there are many, the title of ‘Blessed’ is one rung below being a full-blown saint.

Prior to this, John Sullivan would have been known as ‘Venerable’, and Romanists would have been encouraged to pray to him to make intercession on their behalf. Enniskillen Church of Ireland is endorsing this by holding a meeting in his honour. What blasphemous nonsense!

We pray to God through Jesus Christ and none other. 1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”.

Let us remind readers that the Jesuit Order ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan joined is the bloodthirsty mob which led the ‘Inquisition’ over a period of several centuries in which untold millions of Protestants (along with Muslims and Jews) were murdered. We dealt with that evil organisation in a previous post regarding St Anne’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Belfast inviting a Jesuit into its midst in February.

And it is a man who joined that Order, with its vile past and whose express foundational purpose was to lead the Counter Reformation and drag millions back into the darkness of Rome, that Enniskillen Cathedral (St Macartin’s) sought to honour with this service on Sunday, 15 April.

What an outrage!

Conducting the service was the Very Reverend Kenneth Hall (pictured, top), the Dean of Clogher, and he had with him his ecumenical buddy, ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, Parish Priest of St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Enniskillen. The pair are joined at the hip, and this is something which, in the will of the Lord, we plan to address at another time.

Among the apostate Protestants named as being in attendance were Most Reverend Dr Michael Jackson, the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin and the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher Right Eejit John McDowell (pictured, below), whose utterly shameful conduct we have previously covered. Prayer was also offered at one point by Rev Canon Desmond Kingston, another compromiser by his very presence, this compounded by his participation.

No ecumenical meeting would be complete without plenty more emissaries of Papal deceit, and St Macartin’s Cathedral was filled to the brim with them.

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, was there. Monsignor Joseph McGuinness, Diocesan Administrator of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Clogher, was there. So, too, was ‘Father’ Tom Clayton, former Provincial of the Jesuit Order in Ireland. The Provincial is the leader of the Jesuits. So the most senior member of the organisation which has its mission straight from the Pope and which seeks to snuff out the light of the gospel was welcomed with open arms into a so-called Protestant church. He also offered up a prayer in the service. As we have regularly stated, it is a most relevant question to ask – to whom was the prayer addressed? Was it to God? Or was it to Mary or one of the saints that Rome corruptly teaches you can pray to? Perhaps it was even to ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan. How despicable an indictment of the Church of Ireland that this question even needs to be asked!

All these high profile figures within the Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic Church were part of the gathering in St Macartin’s Cathedral, but was God part of the number? Most assuredly not.

The Bible says in Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” However, these people were not gathered in His name, they were gathered to celebrate themselves and to celebrate man. God has rejected that meeting.

They will claim that they are gathered to honour God, but their hypocrisy is like that mentioned in Isaiah 29:13: “Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:”

The precepts of man were stamped all over that meeting. God hates the Roman Catholic Church because it is a blasphemous pagan corruption of how He has ordained He should be worshipped. God hates the works of apostasy in so-called Protestant churches because they have sold out their goodly heritage for fellowship with Rome.

Remarkably, and without a hint of irony, when giving his address at this meeting, Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin Michael Jackson said the words: “God is not mocked”.

Absolutely, Archbishop. However, that is exactly what you are striving to do with that mockery of a service you so heartily endorsed.

However, while you as a fool look to make a mockery of God, He will hold you in contempt.

Psalm 2:2-4: “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

This apostate Archbishop Michael Jackson continued to grieve God by saying the meeting was “a glorious opportunity” and said there had been “respect across embedded sectarianisms” demonstrated by so-called Protestants attending the service of Beatification (making him ‘Blessed’) of John Sullivan and by the “Jesuit family” being present at that abomination of a service in Enniskillen.

Let us tell Archbishop Michael Jackson, there is nothing sectarian about wanting to prevent the Protestant faith, which is true Biblical Christianity, from being corrupted by the lies and deceits of Rome.

Next to talk so as to hear himself was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, during which he thanked the Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit John McDowell for his invitation “and the congregation at St Macartin’s Cathedral for their welcome”.

This is the consequence of letting heretics into the ministry as they lead their congregations to the point where they are glad to see Romanists in their pulpits.

God will not let that go unpunished.

Ezekiel 33 is a chapter we have referred to on a number of occasions at ‘Protestant Revival’ and we will repeat it once more. After all, we are following the example of Paul when he was inspired by the Holy Ghost to write in Philippians 3:1: “To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.”

In Ezekiel 33 a fearsome warning is laid down to the watchmen, or spiritual leaders, of the people and the solemn responsibility they have in their role. Those who fail to fulfil their duties will have the blood of sinners they’ve led astray on their hands.

Verses 2-6 read: “Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

Of course, many in the congregation at St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen don’t want to be warned, they would rather have repeated digs at pages like this for trying to warn them of the danger they are in. They want to have their ears tickled rather than their hearts challenged and their souls saved.

They share the refrain of those in Isaiah 30:10: “Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits”.

We pray that God will cause the congregation of St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen, in particular those who have castigated this witness, to read this message and we are making a plea to them to turn from this apostasy, tell the rascal in the pulpit to get out and turn wholeheartedly to God.

We would that you would consider your latter end. Jeremiah 5:31 asks the question with a clear gospel application: “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?”

God is calling for sinners to repent. Won’t you listen to Him? Ezekiel 33, which we have already referred to, continues on and shows God offering His mercy to the sinner. Verse 11 reads: “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God , I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”
