Jeremiah 29:8-9: “For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the Lord.”
Rev John Dickinson, minister of Carnmoney Presbyterian Church, seems rather keen to let his Twitter followers know what he is reading.
He has previously informed his nigh on 1,200 followers on Twitter that he was reading the book by so-called “LGBT Christian” Vicky Beeching and how absolutely wonderful it is.
Its unambiguous title, ‘Undivided: Coming Out, Becoming Whole, And Living Free From Shame’, can leave nobody with any doubt as to what it is about.
Rev John Dickinson’s acolytes went into overdrive with their outrage that we should dare to highlight his despicable rejection of the Word of God, with the man himself giving his support to this, liking many of the abusive messages we received on facebook.
Such is the problem with many of these churches given over to charismatism, such as Carnmoney Presbyterian Church, the adherents are placing their faith in the preacher, not in God, so any challenge to the amiable man up the front who they think is infallible will not be met kindly, regardless of whether the Bible shows them to be in the wrong.
It is a form of ‘Protestant’ Popery.
And it is rather apt that Rev John Dickinson is now advocating one of the most well-known advocates of Popery on his Twitter page.
‘Father’ James Martin SJ is the author of the book to which Rev John Dickinson has been giving his endorsement.
Entitled ‘Jesus: A Pilgrimage’, the front cover, which Rev John Dickinson has photographed on his lap (pictured, below), gives the name of the author with the letters SJ, which means Society of Jesus, after it.

This ‘Father’ James Martin is a Jesuit, that order founded by Ignatius of Loyola specifically to fight back AGAINST the Protestant Reformation and which led the centuries long murderous, torturous Inquisition.
Just in case anyone didn’t know what the letters SJ indicated, below his name on the front cover is written “Bestselling author of The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything”, though of course Rev John Dickinson will be well aware of what SJ stands for. He just doesn’t care.
The post received a number of ‘likes’ on Twitter, including from an individual who attends his church and led the abuse of this page on facebook at the time of the Vicky Beeching affair.
It was also ‘liked’ by another Presbyterian minister, Rev Niall Lockhart, minister of Ballyhenry Presbyterian Church, located close to Rev John Dickinson’s domain of clerical compromise and deceit.
And, surprise, surprise, the great glorifier of Ignatius of Loyola, the utter Christ rejecter Alain Emerson of Emmanuel Church in the Lurgan and Portadown areas of County Armagh, was among those to ‘like’ the post.
Birds of a feather and all that.
The Saviour gives us notice of some of the evidences of false prophets in the gospels.
He says in Matthew 7:15-20: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
There can be no doubt Rev John Dickinson is bringing forth evil, corrupt fruit.
He is expressing his support for sodomy in the church and for Romanism, and it is difficult to think of two more evil perversions of the Word of God than those two things.
The Bible is crystal clear on both of these matters.
Rev John Dickinson said on his Twitter page, by way of stating he was reading a new book, having completed his Popish one, that “after a journey in the footsteps of Jesus in the book I finished today…” he had moved on to another one.
What exactly does a Papist priest know about walking in the footsteps of Jesus? And what does Rev John Dickinson know about walking in the footsteps of Jesus if he thinks a Papist priest can show him?
This Jesuit deceiver, James Martin, denies the Lord Jesus Christ.
He denies that Christ’s sacrifice for sin at Calvary was once for all.
He denies that Christ’s sacrifice cleanses those who believe on Him from all sin.
He denies that Christ is the only mediator between God and man (see 1 Timothy 2:5 for a crystal clear lead on this).
He, and all other Papist priests, are liars and deceivers.
The book of Hebrews is a glorious exposition and explanation of true Christian doctrine and deals at length with the abolition of the priesthood which Rome blasphemously upholds its own corrupted version of to this day.
Hebrews 10:1-2, 9-12: “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.”
The Romish blasphemy of the mass makes a repeated sacrifice of Jesus, yet this passage clearly shows Christ’s sacrifice was a one time occurrence.
The Apostle Paul asks the rhetorical question – “would they (the sacrifices) not have ceased to be offered?”
Had the previous sacrificial system been sufficient to wipe out all sin at once then it wouldn’t have had to be repeated.
The point of Christ’s sacrifice was that there might be an all-availing sacrifice for sin for ever. He offered “one sacrifice for sins for ever”.
Yet Rome continues with its repetitive sacrifices, continually claiming to offer up Christ, all the while Rev John Dickinson says he is being led in the footsteps of Jesus by a promoter and practitioner of this hellish lie.
What a rotten, stinking situation this is.
It is also noteworthy that this ‘Father’ James Martin is also a very vocal and prominent voice in the campaign for sodomites to be officially accepted into the Romanist priesthood in the USA (where he is from).
And, of course, as we have already referenced above, Rev John Dickinson’s views on homosexuality is much at odds with Scripture.
Not only has he toadied to Vicky Beeching, he has been a vocal critic of the Presbyterian Church’s entirely proper moves to bar full membership to open sodomites and preclude children in the care of two homosexuals being baptised, which you can read about by clicking here.
Such moves simply sanction sin, but that is what Rev John Dickinson is looking to do – sanction sin.
A true minister of God would be preaching sanctification, a running away from sin and pursuit of holiness, but he preaches the sanctioning of sin and the pursuit of ungodliness.
The Bible couldn’t make it any clearer that homosexuality is repugnant to God.
Leviticus 18:22 tells us it is an “abomination”, Romans 1:26-27 state clearly that it is “vile”, “against nature” and “unseemly”.
God’s judgment rained down on Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis for this wicked sin, which we are reminded of in Jude v 7, which says: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”
Rev John Dickinson, by endorsing this wicked notion, is seemingly happy to sit back and let people “suffer the vengeance of eternal fire” and encourage other people to believe this lie too.
Do you want that type of minister to have spiritual oversight over you? Over your friends? Over your family? Over any soul?
He is like the false prophets in the day of Jeremiah who pretended to be speaking for God.
Jeremiah’s encounter with Hananiah in Jeremiah 28 tells us of the boldness of this false teacher, who voices his lofty, positive but false prophecy “in the presence of the priests and of all the people” (verse 2) before making his grand gesture of ripping the “yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brak[ing] it” (verse 10) to symbolise, so he claimed, the impending victory of the Jews over the Babylonians who threatened them.
Jeremiah warns him that “when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him”.
And he follows this up by pointing out in verse 15: “Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.”
Rev John Dickinson is making anyone who believes him to trust in a lie, rather than the truth of God’s Word.
He is promoting Popery and sodomite affirmation in the church.
Dear reader, if you or anyone you know is involved with Carnmoney Presbyterian Church, or Carnmoney / Central, his church’s offshoot in the middle of Belfast, ran by his son, David Dickinson, won’t you separate yourself immediately and urge those you know to do likewise.
Surely you do not want to be associated with Christ rejection, with the supporting of sodomy and the promotion of the evil, false gospel of Romanism.
Obey Christ’s call to separation and come out from among such apostasy and rank rejection of the truth of the Bible.
Revelation 18:4-5: “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.”
