Asher’s victory ‘disappoints’ ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll’s Inequality Commission

Isaiah 5:20: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

This week saw the announcement of a great victory in the highest court in our islands, the UK Supreme Court, for the disgracefully persecuted Asher’s Bakery.

While no doubt the vast majority of readers are familiar with the case, we will briefly recap lest any are left in the dark.

A sodomite called Gareth Lee ordered a cake from the Christian run bakery based in Belfast, asking that it be emblazoned with the message ‘Support gay marriage’. The order was initially taken by a member of staff who was unaware of how to handle the situation before being passed to the bakery’s owner, Daniel McArthur, who contacted Gareth Lee to tell him they were unable to carry out the order and gave him a refund.

The unhappy Gareth Lee, a campaigner for sodomy, got in touch with the Inequality Commission, who took legal action against Asher’s Bakery and, shamefully, they were found to have discriminated against Gareth Lee.

Asher’s appealed the decision, with the matter going all the way to the UK Supreme Court, who, praise God, overturned the initial decision on a unanimous 5-0 verdict.

While the whole issue was shameful enough as it was, the fact that Michael Wardlow, the Chief Commissioner of the Inequality Commission, is a professing Christian, compounded the matter.

And to put the tin hat on it, the Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Inequality Commission is a ‘minister’ in the Presbyterian Church, ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll.

We previously highlighted how she had failed to speak up at any point throughout the whole process, not making any public pronouncements on the case, thereby showing her support for the persecution of Asher’s Bakery by the organisation in which she holds the second highest post.

Had she, as a supposedly Christian ‘minister’, been opposed to the legal action against this Christian owned bakery, she would surely have done so at some point over the past four years, for that is how long the McArthur family have been subjected to this distressing process.

Instead, her only response is to share online the statement issued by the Inequality Commission in which they expressed their “disappointment” at the verdict delivered by the UK Supreme Court.

The Inequality Commission issued a statement shortly after the ruling was made public, linking to it from their Twitter page, and ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll was quick to retweet it so as to further spread the resolutely defiant and anti-Christian stance of the Inequality Commission.

It starts by saying: “The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland is disappointed in the judgement given today by the Supreme Court…”

Certainly little introspection there.

They continue by saying the previous judgments which found in their favour were “in line with case law developed over the years”. In the next breath they say: “The Supreme Court has overturned these findings…”

There is most definitely at least a passive aggressive narrative at play here, with what appears to be more than a hint of a swipe at the unanimous judgement by the five members of the Supreme Court.

In the final paragraph of the fairly brief statement, they say: “There is a concern… that the beliefs of business owners may take precedence over a customer’s equality rights…”

This is steadfastly refusing to accept the key thrust of the Supreme Court ruling.

Gareth Lee was treated absolutely equally with everyone else, no difference was made for him because he is a sodomite. Had a heterosexual man requested the exact same cake, he would have been rebuffed as well. Indeed, it is highly probable the staff at Asher’s Bakery didn’t even know Gareth Lee was a homosexual.

This absolute lack of humility on the part of the Inequality Commission highlights how it is utterly unfit for purpose.

And ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll’s continuing to reject Biblical standards demonstrates emphatically that she is, even laying aside the Bible’s warning against female ‘ministers’ (1 Timothy 2:12), an utterly inappropriate candidate for the ministry.

This is in addition to her consistently ecumenical conduct, such as preaching at a service during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in a Roman Catholic Church, at which she compared the Pope’s then-impending visit to the Republic of Ireland to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is also noteworthy that the church she vacated two years ago to contest the Northern Ireland Assembly election of May 2016 (at which she received a paltry 5.4% of the vote) will close tomorrow (Sunday).

Fortwilliam and Macrory Presbyterian Church, itself an amalgamation, is to close due to a drastically dwindling congregation, proving once again that, when a church which once stood for the truth moves away from God’s Word, attendances fall.

It is hardly coincidental that the further the Church of England moves away from God, the further attendances dwindle. Their solution is to further water down the message and the result is even greater wasting away of a church which once stood firmly for God.

Apostasy is rejected and punished by God.

Deuteronomy 29:18-20, 24-28: “Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven. Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the Lord done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: And the Lord rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.”

God will uproot those who turn away from His Word and will destroy them, just as Fortwilliam and Macrory Presbyterian Church will be consigned to the dustbin of history.

Those who bemoan its closing can look to this passage in Deuteronomy for the explanation of why it has died – Ichabod has been raised above it, the glory of God has long since departed.

Let us ever be diligent to protect our church, whichever it may be; if it is faithful to God, if it preaches salvation through the blood of Christ, through faith alone in Him, if it rejects error, if it rejects compromise with Rome, if it speaks out against the sins of the day, let our desire and efforts be directed towards preserving those old paths.

If we do this, then God will surely bless us.

Jeremiah 6:16: “Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.”

We will find rest for our souls if we walk in the old paths, but just a few verses down we see the punishment for rejecting the ways laid down by God for us to follow.

Jeremiah 6:19-20 says: “Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it. To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.”

The worship of those who seek to go their own way is not acceptable to God.

Isaiah 29:13: “Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men.”

We must cleave to God’s ordained way of worshipping Him and to the precepts He has laid down in His Word.

And that includes standing up to those who would seek to persecute true Christians like the McArthurs as they defend themselves from those who, whether they claim to be Christian or don’t, would seek to denigrate the cause of Christ in our land.

‘LGBT service’ in Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church gets approval of homosexual who brought legal action against Asher’s Bakery

Last weekend, we at ‘Protestant Revival’ revealed the shocking ‘LGBT service’ held by All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church and their minister Rev Chris Hudson (pictured, above) on Sunday past.

In a staggering exhibition of defiance to God, the church sought to honour those who are living at open and brazen variance with God’s Word.

Following the service, the church put up a facebook post bragging about its disgraceful activity, which we have placed below.

It attracted a distressingly high number of ‘likes’ from other facebook users, with a total of 139 people or organisations indicating their approval when we last checked.

And there was definitely a few interesting characters expressing their support for such defiance of God.

Unsurprisingly, there was a ‘like’ from 1st Dunmurry Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, the ‘minister’ of which is ‘Rev’ Linda Ballard, who vowed prior to her ordination to base her ‘ministry’ “around gender issues”.

Then there was a ‘like’ from Lesley Macaulay, a woman whom we described back in June as “the previously obscure but suddenly high profile businesswoman (according to the Belfast Telegraph)” when she voiced loudly and repeatedly her objection to the Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member at the time, deciding to limit full communion to heterosexuals and barring the baptism of children in the care of homosexuals.

And then, most intriguingly of all, the presence of a ‘like’ on the facebook post by Gareth Lee, the sodomite who initially kicked up a fuss and pursued legal action against the Christian Asher’s Bakery.

It was Gareth Lee (pictured, below) who placed the order in Asher’s Bakery for what became known as the “gay cake”.

This was a cake he requested from the bakery, which he admitted himself had previously served him quite obligingly, bearing the slogan, ‘Support Gay Marriage’ and emblazoned with the name of a sodomite grouping of which Gareth Lee is a member.

To ice such a message would have gone against the Christian owners’ beliefs, the McArthur family. We are warned in Scripture not to wish evil-doers well in their efforts.

2 John 1:10-11 says: “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

The order was initially taken by another member of staff who was unsure how to react in the situation before Daniel McArthur, the manager, told Gareth Lee they were not able to fulfil the order as it went against their Christian convictions and refunded him.

Unhappy, Gareth Lee took his complaint to the (In)Equality Commission, the Deputy Chief Commissioner of which is a Presbyterian’minister’, the ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll (1 Timothy 2:12), who pursued the Christian McArthur family through the courts.

Disgracefully, the court found they had discriminated against Gareth Lee and ordered them to pay him compensation. Asher’s contested the decision and the matter now sits with the UK Supreme Court, with a final verdict expected later this year.

And it was this individual who indicated their approval for such a God-defying service as this.

Of course, it is no surprise to see a sodomite showing their support for such a church service, but it is very instructive as to the nature of the type of people the minister of that church chooses to align with and draws support from.

The minister of All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, Rev Chris Hudson, is on friendly terms with a character who has hounded through the courts the Christian owners of a bakery because they refuse to fall prostrate at the feet of the sodomite agenda.

It is like unto the dictatorial and blasphemous order from King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon to bow down before a golden image he had made to worship it.

When the faithful servants of Christ, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to do so, they kindled the wrath of the heathen.

Daniel 3:12-13,16-19: “There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.”

Notice that the “form of his visage was changed against” these three servants of the one true God when they took their stand.

That is the same for the child of God when they take their stand. People with whom you may have previously been on civil, even amiable terms, when confronted with your beliefs which you have taken from God’s Word, will often change their attitude towards you.

Gareth Lee had previously made purchases from Asher’s Bakery and there had never been a problem. But when they told him they would not bow down to the sodomite agenda, everything changed.

However, this man is pleased by the actions of Rev Chris Hudson, a man who would claim to be serving God.

It is vital that we point out that regardless of his courting of the sodomite agenda, Rev Chris Hudson is in grave error by simply being a part of the Non-Subscribing Church.

This is because that church denies the divinity of Christ, they say he is not God the Son, which means they deny salvation by the cleansing power of the blood of Christ.

That makes it a false church, but still one which is leading poor blinded sinners to hell.

David could gladly say in Psalm 26:4-5: “I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.”

Rev Chris Hudson certainly cannot say that. Rather, he has actively sought them out and encouraged them to persist in their wicked ways, claiming that God is in approval of their vileness.

He is playing a very dangerous game indeed with his own soul, as he is warned in Isaiah 5:20.

It says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Dear reader, let us reject the “doctrines of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1) and instead embrace Christ in all His fullness.

If you are as yet unsaved, it is our prayer that God will speak to you, for it is He alone who can convict you of your sin and cause you to come unto him humbly and penitently for forgiveness.

Romans 10:9-10: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Presbyterian ‘minister’ Lesley Carroll gives her backing to transgenderism while helping persecute Asher’s Bakery

Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

At ‘Protestant Revival’, we have previously highlighted the shocking ecumenical conduct of the so-called Presbyterian ‘minister’, ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll (1 Timothy 2:12).

This includes addressing an ecumenical service in a Roman Catholic chapel in County Tyrone in January, at which she appeared to equate the Pope’s planned visit to Ireland with the birth of Jesus and stated that the Second Vatican Council offered hope to Christianity.

In addition to this heretical nonsense, we then featured her role as second-in-command of the (In)Equality Commission, the body bringing the disgraceful legal action against the Christian Asher’s Bakery, who have been persecuted by the forces of the state for refusing to betray their Christian principles by icing a cake with a message supporting gay marriage, a notion utterly repugnant to the Word of God (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27).

She has not offered one public pronouncement speaking out against the disgraceful treatment of the McArthur family, who own Asher’s Bakery, and continues to hold her position as Deputy Chief Commissioner and enthusiastically support the Inequality Commission’s work.

And now, while refusing to support Asher’s Bakery, ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll has instead demonstrated her public support for the misguided and utterly unbiblical notion of transgenderism.

A transgender group called the ‘Belfast Butterfly Club’ recently marked 25 years of promoting its delusion and who was the special guest? The ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll, of course.

According to the Belfast Butterfly Club’s website, ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll “congratulated the club on its 25 years of transgender support charity work across Northern Ireland”.

She is also pictured on the right of our image at the top of this article with a leading member of this transgender grouping.

It is most instructive that a supposed ‘minister’ of the gospel, though of course it’s not a position she is entitled to hold, would rather be pictured showing her support to a group utterly at odds with God’s Word than with the Christian owners of Asher’s Bakery.

We would also say at this point, lest anyone reading this should start with the “but Jesus dined with sinners” line they love to peddle, that Jesus didn’t actively endorse sinful lifestyles.

Jesus didn’t endorse the Samaritan woman at the well’s sinful lifestyle. He didn’t say that having had five husbands was ok.

John 4:16-18: “Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.”

These same twisters of God’s Word also love to say about how Jesus ministered to prostitutes. That was an absolutely proper thing to do, everyone has a soul in need of salvation, but did Jesus give his blessing to immorality? Of course not. He sought to save people from their sinful estate.

Had there been an event in Jesus’ time such as this one in Belfast, would Jesus have attended and offered best wishes to the ‘Butterfly Club’? The very notion is utterly blasphemous.

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll was not there to proselytise, otherwise she would not have been invited.

Indeed, this is not the first time that ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll has offered her support to the anti-Christian notion of transgenderism.

In November 2015, ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll offered her support to another transgender grouping, the ‘Focus Trust’. Its tagline on its website neatly sums up its purpose: ‘Supporting transgender and intersex individuals and their families’.

According to the report on its website, ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll gave a reading. Whether or not it was from the Bible we are not told, but we can be fairly confident she didn’t read any of the verses already specified in this article.

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll also attended that event in her role as Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Inequality Commission.

The event was termed as a ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ for those “transgender and intersex individuals worldwide who have lost their lives because of society’s intolerance towards them due to a condition they were born with”.

We are not sure what that refers to, but certainly were they physically harmed or subjected to mental abuse because of their decision to live in the way they have chosen, then that is wrong.

However, the condition they are actually born with, like us all, is sin.

Romans 3:23 reminds us that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Jeremiah 9:11 says: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Psalm 51:5 says: “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

We are all natural born sinners, from the point of our conception and the notion of ‘changing’ our gender based on our own feelings is an affront to God.

This meeting from 2015 was held in All Souls Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church in Belfast.

The denomination takes its name from the fact they refused to subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith at the time Henry Cooke led a great clear-out in the Presbyterian Church.

Among other major issues with the church, it adopts a Unitarian stance, thus rejecting the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity, meaning they reject the truth of Christ being God, making the church heretical and therefore somewhere no Presbyterian ‘minister’ or worshipper should attend, or indeed those belonging to any other denomination.

It would appear, from the report already referred to, this ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’ happens in the Church annually, under the auspices of the minister there, Rev Chris Hudson.

At the event, he was presented with a ‘Transgender Champion’ award by the Moderator of the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, the Right (more like Wrong) Reverend Chris Wilson, on behalf of the Focus Trust.

Further evidence of the shocking defiance to God in that church was then demonstrated as a gift was presented to a student ‘minister’ of that denomination, a Linda Ballard (pictured, below). The report explains that this Linda Ballard “plans to form her ministry around gender issues”.

The very basis of her supposed ministry of the gospel is something utterly corrupt and contrary to God’s natural order. That is a truly disgraceful rejection of Biblical Christianity.

Linda Ballard is now the ‘minister’ of 1st Dunmurry Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church.

These are the sort of characters that ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll prefers to associate with.

Proverbs 13:20: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

Psalm 26:4-5: “I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.”

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll certainly does not heed this advice from the Word of God.

As we stated earlier, were ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll seeking the conversion of these characters, she would not be invited to these events.

Her compromise with the most brazen of sins is obvious, repeated and grave.

And any minister who teaches such error is guilty of the most serious offence in the eyes of God.

Ezekiel 33:8 says: “When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”

Reader, if you are as yet unsaved, please do not allow your blood to be on the hands of some apostate preacher, but rather heed the warnings of Christ and take of his free offer of grace.

Repent of your sin to God and ask forgiveness and He will save you.

1 John 1:8-9: “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Meet the Presbyterian ‘minister’ helping lead persecution of the Christian Asher’s Bakery – ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll

The disgraceful legal action taken against Asher’s Bakery in Belfast by the Equality Commission (more like Inequality Commission!) of Northern Ireland has attracted an incredible amount of publicity in Northern Ireland, throughout the UK and further afield.

However, an important fact that has been overlooked through all the reporting of this issue is the presence of a Presbyterian ‘minister’ in the second most senior role on the Inequality Commission.

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll (pictured, top), a Presbyterian ‘minister’, is the Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Inequality Commission.

She is a noted ecumenist and we previously wrote about her disgraceful appearance as the guest speaker at a service in St Patrick’s Roman Catholic chapel in the village of Donaghmore in County Tyrone during the God defying Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

Not only that, but we then also highlighted her shameful message of ecumenical deceit at that meeting, in which she appeared to equate the Pope’s impending visit to Ireland with the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and God’s miraculous parting of the Red Sea and stated that the Second Vatican Council offered hope to Christianity.

She is a blasphemer of God’s Word and is utterly unsuitable to be a ‘minister’, and not just because of her gender, though that alone is enough to preclude her from the role she has corruptly assumed.

1 Timothy 2:12: “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

However, it is her role on the Inequality Commission in conjunction with her role as an ordained ‘minister’ of the gospel we wish to focus on in this article.

In case anyone doesn’t know the background to the case, a homosexual man, called Gareth Lee, ordered a cake from the bakery and asked that the message ‘Support gay marriage’ be emblazoned on it. The order was initially taken by the member of staff at the till who was unaware how to handle the situation. It was passed to the owner, a Christian called Daniel McArthur, who contacted Gareth Lee to say they were unable to carry out the order and refunded him.

Unhappy, Gareth Lee contacted the Inequality Commission, who took legal action against Asher’s Bakery and, disgracefully, they were found to have discriminated against Gareth Lee, with scant regard given to the religious freedom of the McArthur family and Asher’s Bakery.

Having appealed the decision, it has now reached the UK Supreme Court, who heard the case in Belfast earlier this week. Their decision will be published later this year.

This grouping has as its Chief Commissioner a Michael Wardlow, who has acted as a vocal spokesperson against Asher’s Bakery throughout this case. Remarkably, he professes to be a Christian, but this is a matter of public knowledge.

His second in command is Deputy Chief Commissioner ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll, who has remained remarkably silent on this matter and who has attracted no attention for her role in this shameful process. We have pictured below a snapshot of the Inequality Commission’s website to demonstrate her close involvement with the group.

We can find absolutely no trace online of her making any pronouncements on this matter or taking any kind of stand in support of the McArthur family.

Her continued presence on the Inequality Commission and the absence of her making any comments in relation to the matter can only point to her agreeing with the aggressive repression of an individual Christian’s conscience that has been pursued by the Inequality Commission.

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll continues to show her support for the Inequality Commission. In the past week she has retweeted three tweets from the Inequality Commission and the most recent post on her Twitter account is a retweet of an Inequality Commission tweet.

If ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll has any objection to the persecution of Christians for refusing to taint themselves by endorsing something repugnant to the Word of God, then she has certainly not proclaimed it.

God’s Word tells us in Ephesians 5:11: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

Not only has ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll failed to reprove the unfruitful works of darkness but she has continued to enthusiastically have fellowship with them.

2 Corinthians 6:17 says: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing”.

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll has certainly not followed this advice from the inspired Word of God.

And her silence on this matter is a shameful reflection on not just her, but also on the Presbyterian Church.

Isaiah 56:10 warns of such elective ecclesiastical mutism. While this verse refers to watchmen, and God approves only of saved male ministers of the gospel whom He has called, as we have previously stressed, it has a relevant application to this situation.

It says: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”

‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll certainly seems to be afflicted with dumbness in relation to this issue.

What does ‘Rev’ Lesley Carroll think of the Asher’s Bakery case? Does she believe it is acceptable to force a business run by Christians, whose interests she is supposed to have at heart as a ‘minister’, to endorse gay marriage?

Marriage between one man and one woman is a God ordained estate (Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”) and homosexuality is described by God as an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).

How anyone who holds the position of a minister can attempt to justify this is frankly outrageous.

It would be very interesting to hear what Rev Lesley Carroll has to say about Asher’s Bakery being victimised because of their Christian beliefs.
