Crown Jesus Ministries’ Mitch shows his support for the Pope yet again

2 Corinthians 11:13-15: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

It really is so brazen, surely nobody can be left in any doubt of the disgraceful, ecumenical nature of the “ministry” of ‘Mitch’, (because his actual name, Keith Mitchell is nowhere near cool enough for his type of ‘church’) of the Belfast based Crown Jesus Ministries.

Yet again Mitch has blatantly, overtly, deliberately endorsed “that Antichrist”, the God blaspheming Romish Pope, on his Twitter page to his more than 3,000 followers.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday past, Keith Mitchell (sorry, ‘Mitch’), posted the following message:

“A Christian, who in these times is not a revolutionary, is no Christian”. POPE FRANCIS

The inclusion of the name of that “son of perdition” in block capitals is what Keith Mitchell (sorry, ‘Mitch’) chose to do, as if he is deliberately drawing attention to his compromise.

That is certainly how it would appear – what is the need otherwise for him to put it in block capitals?

And, to further ensure we got his message of foul ecumenical compromise, his same tweet then includes a little graphic of the same quote, again noted as being from “that Antichrist” himself.

You can see the tweet for yourself, pictured below.

The tweet attracted just a single ‘like’, though so do many of his tweets, but it is very telling to see from whom it came.

It was none other than Keith’s (sorry, Mitch’s) good old Romanist chum Ron Huntley of the Papist grouping, Divine Renovation Ministry.

We previously highlighted how Mitch disgracefully had this avowed adherent of the Roman Catholic false doctrines in his church in Belfast last October to teach his church’s members.

Ron Huntley’s group says, on its website, that one of its key priorities is to see the “power of the Holy Spirit held together by the celebration of the Eucharist”, which, for Rome, is the blasphemous mass, where Christ is blasphemously offered up again and again and again.

Does Keith Mitchell (sorry, ‘Mitch’, because Peter, Paul, Isaiah, Jeremiah and other Biblical figures were keen on giving themselves matey monikers to make themselves look cooler) agree with this blasphemous mass? If he doesn’t, why is he taking anything to do with Ron Huntley of Divine Renovation Ministry and why is he promoting the Pope on his Twitter page?

Both Rome and Biblical Christianity cannot be right and, by acting how he is, Keith Mitchell (sorry, ‘Mitch’) is clearly siding with Rome.

The Eucharist which his pals Pope Francis and Ron Huntley uphold is an outrage against our Saviour and serves purely to deny and denigrate the all-sufficient sacrifice of Christ at Calvary.

There are numerous passages which clearly outline this. We will include just two clear examples.

Romans 6:9-10 says: “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.”

Hebrews 7:24-27: “But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.”

Note the latter part of the second passage clearly proves the falseness of the Romish position.

Christ “needeth not daily, to offer up sacrifice”.

What does Rome do? It offers up daily, oftentimes more than daily, sacrifice of their imagined, blasphemous version of Christ.

But Keith Mitchell (sorry, ‘Mitch’) is far too cool to worry about absolutely vital theological points like that, isn’t he?

In addition to the blasphemous mass, Rome falsely teaches of a fictional holding cell between heaven and hell called purgatory, it teaches of prayer to so-called long dead ‘saints’ and to Mary (indeed, May is a month Rome sets aside for devotion to Mary), it teaches that the Pope, Mitch’s hero, is the “vicar of Christ on earth”, among other blasphemous titles ascribed to that old deceiver, and worst of all, teaches that salvation comes through our own works, our own merit and our own earning.

That last point is absolutely crucial as it damns lost sinners to hell, poor lost sinners seeking to merit a place in heaven, something which is absolutely impossible for us to do.

God’s Word could not be clearer on this matter.

Titus 3:5-7 says: “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

It is “not by works of righteousness which we have done”, but rather God’s “mercy” which has “saved us” who are saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

That famous passage from Ephesians is so clear and obvious that one must wonder how any could not see clearly that salvation is NOT earned, yet Rome persists in teaching their blasphemous false gospel and Keith Mitchell (sorry, ‘Mitch’) is happy to walk hand in hand with and promote the teachings of such hellish deceivers and deceptions.

As we have already stated when referring to ‘Mitch’ bringing in Romanist Ron Huntley of Divine Renovation Ministry to his church, ‘Mitch’ has a track record for such Popish pandering.

Indeed, this is not the first time he has quoted “that Antichrist” on Twitter.

Back in June last year, he did the same thing as he supported and encouraged another determined compromiser and ecumenist, Methodist minister Rev John Alderdice as the latter preached at the God-denying Romanist novena mass in Clonard Monastery in west Belfast.

Indeed, pictured above you can see Rev John Alderdice sitting, second left, as the priest blasphemously lifts the wafer above his head and claims Jesus is truly present in the wafer and in the wine.

Mitch’s response? To tell Rev John Alderdice he was “cheering him on” and quote Pope Francis extolling the so-called virtues of ‘church unity’. You can see the exchange for yourself, pictured below.

This is more than a one-off, an aberration, an errant move, this is part of a consistent pattern.

Why is ‘Mitch’ consistently cosying up with Popery? Why is he repeatedly favourably quoting the very man who denies the gospel message of salvation freely offered by grace through faith alone?

Does ‘Mitch’ himself believe that salvation comes through faith alone in Christ alone?

After all, last autumn he claimed that 44 young, impressionable people, were saved from a lost eternity in hell by… taking a booklet.

That is most certainly not the gospel message, despite what ‘Mitch’ may try to say and despite his pathetic efforts to equivocate after the event following a very gentle enquiry by a Baptist lady who felt the need to then tell us we should remove our article based on his risible response.

Indeed, the same lady has also contacted us of late to complain about our mentioning the compromise which is very much visible in the public ministry of Newtownbreda Baptist Church, led by Pastor Trevor Ramsey (pictured, below).

However, Newtownbreda Baptist Church is one of four churches, along with UT Belfast, Orangefield Presbyterian Church and CFC Belfast, which have forged a very close link with Crown Jesus Ministries over the past period of time.

This includes running events together, such as the very aptly named (for an ecumenical venture) Just One conference last year, headline by Canon J John, who was an active part of the charismatic deceits of the Toronto Blessing movement and launching a prayer guide together, in which they have favourably quoted US heretic Rick Warren.

In fact Pastor Trevor Ramsey appeared on a recent webinar with ‘Mitch’ organised by the Ecumenical Alliance, sorry, Evangelical Alliance, of which both churches are members, and stated he was “happy” to be doing so.

Is he happy to be forging such close links with a man who is repeatedly quoting the Pope of Rome in a favourable light?

Is this something which sits comfortably with him and the people who attend his church?

Surely fellowshipping with a man who is “cheering” other ministers on as they take part in a blasphemous mass service and is repeatedly quoting the Pope is something a discerning preacher would cross the road to stay clear of?

Seemingly, such things are not a concern for Pastor Trevor Ramsey.

Dear reader, please raise your voice in objection to this terrible compromise and, if you are involved with Crown Jesus Ministries would you please separate yourself from it.

If you are involved with Newtownbreda Baptist Church, UT Belfast, CFC Belfast or Orangefield Presbyterian Church would you not separate yourself and urge those you know connected with these churches to do likewise.

Such links with a man promoting Popery and unity with Rome are not pleasing to God.

Let us strive to ever be more like Him, to follow Biblical separation and stand foursquare for Christ in this evil day of compromise and apostasy.

Romans 16:17-18: “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
