Enniskillen Church of Ireland service celebrates Jesuit priest and endorses prayer to saints

The Church of Ireland in Enniskillen has given its seal of approval to Rome’s corrupt system of saints, to whom Rome teaches you should pray, by holding a service celebrating a man the Roman Catholic Church is in the process of making a saint.

‘Blessed’ John Sullivan was born into the Church of Ireland in Enniskillen but in his adult years, foolishly converted to Rome, eventually joining the Society of Jesus, or Jesuits. For those who are not overly familiar with the process of Romanist canonisation, and we hope there are many, the title of ‘Blessed’ is one rung below being a full-blown saint.

Prior to this, John Sullivan would have been known as ‘Venerable’, and Romanists would have been encouraged to pray to him to make intercession on their behalf. Enniskillen Church of Ireland is endorsing this by holding a meeting in his honour. What blasphemous nonsense!

We pray to God through Jesus Christ and none other. 1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”.

Let us remind readers that the Jesuit Order ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan joined is the bloodthirsty mob which led the ‘Inquisition’ over a period of several centuries in which untold millions of Protestants (along with Muslims and Jews) were murdered. We dealt with that evil organisation in a previous post regarding St Anne’s Church of Ireland Cathedral in Belfast inviting a Jesuit into its midst in February.

And it is a man who joined that Order, with its vile past and whose express foundational purpose was to lead the Counter Reformation and drag millions back into the darkness of Rome, that Enniskillen Cathedral (St Macartin’s) sought to honour with this service on Sunday, 15 April.

What an outrage!

Conducting the service was the Very Reverend Kenneth Hall (pictured, top), the Dean of Clogher, and he had with him his ecumenical buddy, ‘Monsignor’ Peter O’Reilly, Parish Priest of St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Enniskillen. The pair are joined at the hip, and this is something which, in the will of the Lord, we plan to address at another time.

Among the apostate Protestants named as being in attendance were Most Reverend Dr Michael Jackson, the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin and the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher Right Eejit John McDowell (pictured, below), whose utterly shameful conduct we have previously covered. Prayer was also offered at one point by Rev Canon Desmond Kingston, another compromiser by his very presence, this compounded by his participation.

No ecumenical meeting would be complete without plenty more emissaries of Papal deceit, and St Macartin’s Cathedral was filled to the brim with them.

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, was there. Monsignor Joseph McGuinness, Diocesan Administrator of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Clogher, was there. So, too, was ‘Father’ Tom Clayton, former Provincial of the Jesuit Order in Ireland. The Provincial is the leader of the Jesuits. So the most senior member of the organisation which has its mission straight from the Pope and which seeks to snuff out the light of the gospel was welcomed with open arms into a so-called Protestant church. He also offered up a prayer in the service. As we have regularly stated, it is a most relevant question to ask – to whom was the prayer addressed? Was it to God? Or was it to Mary or one of the saints that Rome corruptly teaches you can pray to? Perhaps it was even to ‘Blessed’ John Sullivan. How despicable an indictment of the Church of Ireland that this question even needs to be asked!

All these high profile figures within the Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic Church were part of the gathering in St Macartin’s Cathedral, but was God part of the number? Most assuredly not.

The Bible says in Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” However, these people were not gathered in His name, they were gathered to celebrate themselves and to celebrate man. God has rejected that meeting.

They will claim that they are gathered to honour God, but their hypocrisy is like that mentioned in Isaiah 29:13: “Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:”

The precepts of man were stamped all over that meeting. God hates the Roman Catholic Church because it is a blasphemous pagan corruption of how He has ordained He should be worshipped. God hates the works of apostasy in so-called Protestant churches because they have sold out their goodly heritage for fellowship with Rome.

Remarkably, and without a hint of irony, when giving his address at this meeting, Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin Michael Jackson said the words: “God is not mocked”.

Absolutely, Archbishop. However, that is exactly what you are striving to do with that mockery of a service you so heartily endorsed.

However, while you as a fool look to make a mockery of God, He will hold you in contempt.

Psalm 2:2-4: “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

This apostate Archbishop Michael Jackson continued to grieve God by saying the meeting was “a glorious opportunity” and said there had been “respect across embedded sectarianisms” demonstrated by so-called Protestants attending the service of Beatification (making him ‘Blessed’) of John Sullivan and by the “Jesuit family” being present at that abomination of a service in Enniskillen.

Let us tell Archbishop Michael Jackson, there is nothing sectarian about wanting to prevent the Protestant faith, which is true Biblical Christianity, from being corrupted by the lies and deceits of Rome.

Next to talk so as to hear himself was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, during which he thanked the Bishop of Clogher, the Right Eejit John McDowell for his invitation “and the congregation at St Macartin’s Cathedral for their welcome”.

This is the consequence of letting heretics into the ministry as they lead their congregations to the point where they are glad to see Romanists in their pulpits.

God will not let that go unpunished.

Ezekiel 33 is a chapter we have referred to on a number of occasions at ‘Protestant Revival’ and we will repeat it once more. After all, we are following the example of Paul when he was inspired by the Holy Ghost to write in Philippians 3:1: “To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.”

In Ezekiel 33 a fearsome warning is laid down to the watchmen, or spiritual leaders, of the people and the solemn responsibility they have in their role. Those who fail to fulfil their duties will have the blood of sinners they’ve led astray on their hands.

Verses 2-6 read: “Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

Of course, many in the congregation at St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen don’t want to be warned, they would rather have repeated digs at pages like this for trying to warn them of the danger they are in. They want to have their ears tickled rather than their hearts challenged and their souls saved.

They share the refrain of those in Isaiah 30:10: “Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits”.

We pray that God will cause the congregation of St Macartin’s Cathedral in Enniskillen, in particular those who have castigated this witness, to read this message and we are making a plea to them to turn from this apostasy, tell the rascal in the pulpit to get out and turn wholeheartedly to God.

We would that you would consider your latter end. Jeremiah 5:31 asks the question with a clear gospel application: “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?”

God is calling for sinners to repent. Won’t you listen to Him? Ezekiel 33, which we have already referred to, continues on and shows God offering His mercy to the sinner. Verse 11 reads: “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God , I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”

  1. Thank you for sharing this and keeping us enlightened to what’s going on in our Protestant Churches. May God richly bless you in your service for your Saviour in these days, when there is a great falling away, and apostasy in abundance.
